We are a small animal veterinary practice located in Walcott, Iowa just minutes outside of the Quad-Cities. We provide quality medical care for the canine and feline members of your family. Our clinic was founded in 2001 by Dr. Ken Wilcke and Dr. James Berger. We provide services for internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, grooming, and preventive health.

Doc Berger is excellent!! The nursing staff is over the top! You get what you pay for and their are cheaper vets out there but the doc never stops thinking about your pet. It some time with our little pug but he kept thinking and came to a diagnosis that I think few vets could've caught. We had to go to Ames, Is. for her serjury and made a full recovery. Short story. BEST VET OFFICE IN THE QCA! 6 Stars

Dr. Berger and his staff were there for us 12 years ago when we brought our new puppy for her first visit, and all along this journey until the day recently when we had to make the most difficult decision of our lives. They have answered countless questions and provided valuable guidance the whole way. I can't imagine there is a more caring clinic for your four legged friends in the whole world. Trust me, you will feel like they care as much about your pet as you do. I will be forever grateful for everything, especially the support, respect and compassion they showed on one of the hardest days of our lives.

Dr. Berger and his staff have always been caring and compassionate toward us and our Huskies. I have known Dr. Berger for many years, and he has always provided wonderful care for our dogs, and I trust him and the staff, to have our dogs' best interests at heart. He explains issues, gives us options, and works with us to ensure we make the best decisions when it comes to our dogs' health care. There are many good veterinarians to choose from, but there's only one Dr. Berger. Remember that when your pet needs health care.

So glad we got introduced to this amazing clinic! Our first child, Madison (lab mix), and our other children, Cooper and Kennedy (human mix) first visited Dr. Berger on a Saturday... We were so happy to finally find a vet clinic open on the weekend! The waiting room had "kids corner" where my boys could play while waiting to see the doctor. This place is extremely family friendly! When we quickly got back to see him, we learned that Dr. Berger is amazingly detailed and caring. He and his staff truly understand that pets are family and we so happy to call Walcott Family Pet Clinic our new "home" for Madi! We live in Davenport and never thought to look outside our the city for a vet clinic... We are so happy that we found this one- it's just a quick drive away and worth every mile! The Hamilton Family

These people and this clinic are the best around. I have been going there for over 20 years and would never go anywhere else. I drive 31 miles one way to get there and pass at least 4 other clinics that would be closer but no one gives the service or the care that Jim, Mandy, Mary, and Christan gives my fur children. Through all my sorrow and all the good times they have been there.

Phenomenal, comprehensive and quality pet care. Dr. Berger has great bedside manner and is very informative about pet options and recommendations without being over zealous. I would highly recommend!

Dr. Berger and his staff were there for us 12 years ago when we brought our new puppy for her first visit, and all along this journey until the day recently when we had to make the most difficult decision of our lives. They have answered countless questions and provided valuable guidance the whole way. I can't imagine there is a more caring clinic for your four legged friends in the whole world. Trust me, you will feel like they care as much about your pet as you do.
