I recommend!!! These guys did a great job !!! We brought our dog with a swollen foot and had blood. They took us very quickly and quickly gave their opinion. We began going to Kutter Pet Care over a year ago. As a military family, we have always used the base veterinary clinic as long as our pet was healthy, as their services are limited. With age, we know from experience health issues arise and pets need to be seen more often. We adore our Oliver and want to keep him around as long as possible. Kutter has assisted with infected paws, removal of fatty tumors, teeth cleaning, bladder stone surgery, boarding, daycare, and grooming. I consider their prices competitive and their staff caring and concerned where it comes to our little schnauzer. Oliver is always greeted like a long lost friend every time we stop in and after he's seen there for medical care, boarding, or grooming, its obvious he is a happy little dog. Read Less

We have been taking our German Shepherd Dog here since he was a puppy over 5 years ago. He has been seen by every Veterinarian at the clinic and prefers Dr. Boller but every member of the staff is very caring and professional. I don't write many reviews, I am not a "yelper".  It is important to have great-trusted  pet care so I felt that I should let you know....  We just recently moved to Wichita and found Dr Kutter only because we had an emergency with our dog Bandit.  What a blessing to have been referred to him! Bandit was sick for several days and severely dehydrated.  Dr Kutter and his staff spoke with me over the phone several times and they were very sensitive to my concerns and anxiety over Bandit's illness.  Bandit was admitted on a Sunday (amazing hours) and I was extremely impressed when I got to meet Dr Kutter and his staff in person.  I left Bandit in very good care and he was better in no-time.  I was sent home with a "care package" and instructions to insure his continued recovery.  Bandit has had many medical issues and has seen many Vets (we move a lot)  but never have I felt so secure with a Vet.  Thank you Dr Kutter and staff, Bandit is my baby and thank you for treating him as if he were your own. My review on their Facebook: Very unhappy with this clinic. We took our sick dog here and they said she needed an x-ray. Took her back, did the x ray then came out and told us they shouldn't have done it because our dog was too underweight from being sick to see anything but still charged us $145 for it! If they knew what they were doing they would have told us that BEFORE the x ray but instead did it just to take our money. I will never go back here again, will not recommend to anyone and will be calling to speak to a supervisor in the morning. Kutters very rude response: We are happy you sought treatment with us for your pet however find it unfortunate you declined all treatment recommendations. The doctor did not say we should not have done the radiographs, she said they were inconclusive due to the poor body condition your pet was in. It is also unfortunate you chose to draw attention to yourself through social media. When an owner lets a dog suffer chronic diarrhea, no appetite, and 20% loss of body weight for over a week without seeking treatment, it reflects poorly on the owner. You can see by our other reviews we take pet care seriously. My response to their's: Angela ChampionWow, calling out a pet owner like that is very unprofessional. Just to give you an update on our dog, she passed away during surgery last Wednesday that was done by a much more knowledgeable vet who knew up front that she should not have had an x-ray but an ultrasound to figure out what issue was going on. They found she had cancer of the intestines and said we did all we could have done for her because she would have lost weight quickly regardless and even doing surgery they were not able to save her. So thank you Kutter, for making us out to be horrible people when we just lost a beloved member of our family. You are pretty much saying we neglected our dog which you would think if that was the case we wouldn't have spent $325 for you to tell us nothing. This just proves why I will NEVER refer anyone to your service and will make it known how you treat your customers to every animal lover I come in contact with. Read Less

Just took my dog in today for the first time(Saturday)and they got me in right away as I thought she had a bone shard gouging someplace. Every one was so kind and assuring and quick; and the place amazingly clean! It turns out that no bones were causing trouble and that she will be okay. Awful, awful, awful. My boyfriend and I just recently adopted a new dog from the Kansas Humane Society. We have never boarded her before but were going on vacation and needed a boarding kennel. We looked up all of the boarding kennels and decided to take Bella to Kutters. We dropped her off last Monday and we trusted the clinic with our dog. We then picked her up that following Saturday. The next morning after picking her up, he paw was severely swollen and she could not walk. We immediately took her to the Wichita Emergency Animal Hospital. 5 hours and $500 later, it turns out that Bella had an infection in her paw, which the doctors at the hospital told us was caused by a dog bite that happened within the last couple of days. The only place Bella had been around other dogs was at Kutter Pet Care Center. So I called Kutters and asked to speak to a manager. After describing what happened to the manager, she told me that it could have happened in doggy daycare when the person watching them turned away for a few minutes or it could have been because Bella destroyed one of their dog dishes. First of all, the person watching the dogs in doggy daycare should have their full attention on the dogs. Second, when we picked Bella up, they told us nothing about her destroying one of their dog dishes. Third, Bella has never chewed up anything or destroyed anything in our home, she is a very soft-centered dog. Needless to say, this is a terrible, awful facility and I will never bring Bella back. I have been taking my furry babies here for the past 5 years! They are always great about getting them in for last minute shots, or emergencies. They have GREAT hours, they are open early and late a few days a week. I love that they can board my animals there too if needed. A few years ago my older lab got caught going under the fence and had to have surgery. They kept her over night and were amazing! They have wonderful and caring staff. Typically we use Rose Hill Veterinary Clinic but since we got Fritz from PetLand we decided to use KutterPC, this was there suggested vet and we got first shots free. Our beautiful little Fritz started loosing hair and braking out this summer and in August (8/27) we took Fritz in to Kutter. They did no skin scrape to assess the problem and took a guess, Allergic issue gave him prednisone and antibiotic, Kutter sent us home with steroids and antibiotics. A month later when meds were gone everything started going bad again. we called kutter and said we were sure Fritz had Mange but had no money at that time. asked them to see again since he had already been in, they refused. We started treating Fritz for mange at home and he was starting to look better. then we went out of town and left him with family. When we came back Fritz's mange had spread to his chin and today we went to Rose Hill Vet and our suspicion was verified. The Vet did a skin scrape and found mange he complemented us on our home treatment and sent us with additional meds to help with fritz's sickness. I will not be back to Kutter every. and If anyone mentions their name, I will detour people from going there. The big fancy animal hospital isn't always the best. Stay away from Kutter!!! Read Less

I've been a dog owner all my life. I can say this is the best experience I have ever had. The staff is kind and knowledgeable from the receptionists to the kennel staff. They are open 7 days a week which has saved me a costly trip to the emergency vet when our dog was just a pup. I have been with them now for 4 years and have always received excellent doctor care. I love having a one stop shop! I have been to other vets in town, but Kutter's Rocks! It is very comforting knowing your vet is open 7 days a week and they know what they're doing. The staff always offers to help me to my car with my pets or purchases. They even meet me at the drive up door with my prescriptions! My pets always seem happy to trot right in and enjoy all the attention they get. And, the place is sooo clean! Read Less
