Augusta Animal Clinic

Augusta, Kansas
General Info
Augusta Animal Clinic in Augusta continues to play a significant role in the lives of its local pet owners. Augusta Animal Clinic generates empathy- and results-driven environments. Joyful Kansas families achieve veterinary insights implementation through emotional safety setups. Cats often need indirect eye contact before they allow an examination. Your dog might need several days to get used to each step or be allowed to sniff the tools. The clinic uses a species-specific, emotionally responsive handling technique that avoids overstimulation and is adaptable to individual tolerance levels. The method treats owners as equal partners throughout all phases. Veterinarians note certain domestic aspects of animal behaviors, such as what pets do after storms, how they sleep and if they react to new textures, as clinical data in their practice. The Augusta Animal Clinic offers services in the categories of preventive planning, diagnostics, internal medicine, nutrition advisement and dental care and multi-species senior pet wellness. The timing of each procedure is precisely aligned with the animal’s ability to remain calm and present. Some pets undergo multiple diagnostics across several visits in addition to the anxiety-reduction plans for the day. Unique techniques for handling and managing exotic pets have been designed to prevent them from getting sick due to stress. After medical visits, parents receive advice on what to do at home after discharge. The advice includes detecting pain signs, determining overstimulation or sound activity, and how to return to normal life interaction. Each treatment plan has its own rhythm, which allows us to step back in order to step in and then reassess. Augusta Animal Clinic provides veterinary care to the pets and families in Augusta and surrounding Kansas areas by using an emotional compass, which respects each patient’s unique stress signals, physical language, and timing needs. The services offered include the following: reptile care, vaccinations, cold laser therapy, deworming, oncology, prescription medication, puppy and kitten care, internal medicine and pocket pet care among others. The facility employees also offer laser therapy. The clinic’s personalized approach ensures that pet owners feel confident and informed, whether they are seeking assistance with their pet’s wellness plan or facing more involved health concerns. The team is committed to growing and engaging with the community to ensure that pets in Augusta and the entire United States have access to quality care.

We had a vet lady who was around 25-30 years old and told us she was ready, she must of been having a bad day, because when she started to give our dog a check up she was really rough and aggressive. We have a shipoo (half poodle half shih zu) He is small and never bites or hurts anyone. While she was being super rough with him, I could tell he was feeling nervous, when she started sticking her fingers in his mouth to check his teeth he nipped at her and she immediately ran off to find the smallest muzzle to throw on him. He has never been muzzled before and started freaking out and she just kept going like nothing was wrong. I just feel like if someone becomes a vet they should enjoy animals and be nice to them. This lady obviously didn't want to be there and took out her frustrations on my little dog. Read Less
