Dr. Slyter & his office gained all of our business after their help with my sweet Oakley. I wasted a year with multiple visits to our previous Basehor vet being told multiple times that my pup was just having behavioral responses due to a new baby in the house. When I went to Dr. Slyter, he listened to my concerns & after 20 minutes he gave me several possibilities and said ‘I don’t know for sure what is wrong with Oakley but I don’t think it’s behavioral. Let’s run bloodwork... for a baseline.’ Ten minutes later he gave me the sad news that my 4.5 year old pup was in kidney failure. Over the next few months, I was at the office frequently for follow ups, consultations, and med refills. The office staff was very accommodating to me and we were able to enjoy as many days as possible with Oakley before his health failed him. I am so thankful that Dr. Slyter listened and consulted with other vets to try to find answers on our very perplexing case. I just wish I had switched vets sooner! We have moved our other two pets to his care and will continue to spread the word that Bonner Springs Animal Clinic found me some answers and didn’t disregard my gut feeling. Seriously so lucky to have such an awesome vet to take my little guy to! He gets so excited to go and loves seeing his friends that are working! Everyone is so sweet and caring. Wonderful staff! My poor Scarlett had gotten into something and had a nasty infection that I didn't know about until we ruptured the abcess.. called and was seen within 15 minutes! Took very good care of my cat. Antibiotics and send on our way. no trying to run excessive tests or anything of that nature. Very affordable care. I appreciate the care our furbaby received and reassurance all looked good!

The vet tech that served me was so welcoming and comforted to my dog with me in our room while we waited! The vet himself could have been more gentle with my dog upon originally meeting her. I told them both she had an abusive past and bad experiences with previous vets and he went in pretty boldly to pet her and she nipped back. I understand they were in a rush, animals are unpredictable, and I have no hard feelings, our service was wonderful and I will be returning with my pet(s)!

Took our older cat there a month later that always went crazy when they drew his blood. He was quiet and calm with them because of how they worked with him during the draw. Price is very reasonable. This clinic was the only place who agreed to fit her in same day due to the condition and it being an emergency even tho our dog had never been to them before our own Vet turned us away. Staff is caring and take the time to explain medicine and procedures. Dr. Slyter was very patient and took extra time to answer my questions about daily puppy care. Would highly recommend center.

I recently was faced with the difficult decision to say goodbye to my senior cat. The staff at the Bonner Springs Animal Care Center were awesome. They were very supportive and made this difficult decision much easier. The process was very peaceful and they went an extra step for me, as they saw I was having a hard time saying goodbye. I just have to say that we LOVE this office. We're pretty new to the area and took our cat here a few months ago. Today we had to take in our two dogs for their annual check and vaccines. We know they are not the best behaved dogs, but they're our kids and we love them to death. Everyone is so nice and patient at this practice. Dr. Slyter is one of those amazing vets you always wish for when you have to find a new vet. He and his assistant were amazing with KayCee and Jordi. His down to earth demeanor and honest advice are refreshing. Since we made Bonner Springs our new home, Dr Slyter will be our vet of choice for as long as he is around.

Awesome place. Just took 2 of my 4 furry friends there today. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Best vet I've ever been to. He doesn't try to push any tests or medicine. He suggests options and tests/treatments that can be done but, no pressure attitude. Most places I've been to make you feel if you don't do a test or treatment your horrible. Definitely would recommend to anyone with pets!

Dr. Slyter has taken care of our pets for more than 15 years. I appreciate that his background and mine are similar (farming) and his down to Earth, realistic approach. He doesn't ask us to spend extra money or suggest excessive tests/treatment. He simply cares for the animals while giving us good information and real tips. Bonner Animal Care is a small town business where they care about their customers. The staff is always helpful, prices are excellent, and our dog liked going to see the Doc or to be boarded with them.

Dr Slyter and Staff provide excellent service and have affordable prices. Compared to just about every Kansas City area veterinarian office, there are no super inflated prices here. The customer can feel confident they are getting optimum service without having to pay or compensate for other clinics exorbitant costs associated with rent, high prices, or inflated costs. I've been to several veterinary clinics in Kansas City and Dr. Slyter office in Bonner Springs is worth the drive.

I have been using this service for several years. I own several dogs, cats & horses and take care of several of my families pets as well. The staff is always polite. I trust this vet with all of my furry family members. I have used the grooming service and she did a wonderful job on my very hairy dog. I have used the kennel when I went on vacation and they were great to my dog. The prices are great as well. No bad things to say about them!

This clinic was the only place who agreed to fit her in same day due to the condition and it being an emergency even tho our dog had never been to them before our own Vet turned us away. Very caring and thorough when taking care of our girl and getting her on the road to recovery! Very grateful and can't express how thankful we are for this team!

Emma and Gracie were added to our family in October of last year. It has been awhile since we have had puppies. Bonner Springs Animal Care Center was recommended for puppy visits and check ups. Staff is caring and take the time to explain medicine and procedures. Dr. Slyter was very patient and took extra time to answer my questions about daily puppy care. Would highly recommend center.

I recently was faced with the difficult decision to say goodbye to my senior cat. The staff at the Bonner Springs Animal Care Center were awesome. They were very supportive and made this difficult decision much easier. The process was very peaceful and they went an extra step for me, as they saw I was having a hard time saying goodbye. I just have to say that we LOVE this office. We're pretty new to the area and took our cat here a few months ago. Today we had to take in our two dogs for their annual check and vaccines. We know they are not the best behaved dogs, but they're our kids and we love them to death. Everyone is so nice and patient at this practice. Dr. Slyter is one of those amazing vets you always wish for when you have to find a new vet. He and his assistant were amazing with KayCee and Jordi. His down to earth demeanor and honest advice are refreshing. Since we made Bonner Springs our new home, Dr Slyter will be our vet of choice for as long as he is around.

When I called the 2nd time to request an appt the receptionist was rude and questioning why I needed labs for my animal, also assuming I was a current customer, becoming even more rude when I told her I would be new. I told them to forget it and hung up. No thanks. You just lost a customer

Awesome place. Just took 2 of my 4 furry friends there today. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Best vet I've ever been to. He doesn't try to push any tests or medicine. He suggests options and tests/treatments that can be done but, no pressure attitude. Most places I've been to make you feel if you don't do a test or treatment your horrible. Definitely would recommend to anyone with pets!

When we call for an appointment she is also nasty on the phone. It's to bad the Dr has a person with zero people skills working there. Dr. Slyter has taken care of our pets for more than 15 years. I appreciate that his background and mine are similar (farming) and his down to Earth, realistic approach. He doesn't ask us to spend extra money or suggest excessive tests/treatment. He simply cares for the animals while giving us good information and real tips. Bonner Animal Care is a small town business where they care about their customers. The staff is always helpful, prices are excellent, and our dog liked going to see the Doc or to be boarded with them.

Dr. Slyter took great care of our sick cat! Our pet/family-member was under the weather and the doctor gave him a thorough examination and explained his diagnosis as well as treatment options. He spent ample time with us to make sure we understood everything we needed and took excellent care of our kitty. I would recommend him and his clinic without reservation.

Dr Slyter and Staff provide excellent service and have affordable prices. Compared to just about every Kansas City area veterinarian office, there are no super inflated prices here. The customer can feel confident they are getting optimum service without having to pay or compensate for other clinics exorbitant costs associated with rent, high prices, or inflated costs. I've been to several veterinary clinics in Kansas City and Dr. Slyter office in Bonner Springs is worth the drive.

I have been using this service for several years. I own several dogs, cats & horses and take care of several of my families pets as well. The staff is always polite. I trust this vet with all of my furry family members. I have used the grooming service and she did a wonderful job on my very hairy dog. I have used the kennel when I went on vacation and they were great to my dog. The prices are great as well. No bad things to say about them!
