Cheney Animal Clinic

Cheney, Kansas
General Info
Pet owners throughout Cheney trust Cheney Animal Clinic for its expertise and the friendly atmosphere it cultivates. Cheney Animal Clinic caters to Cheney and nearby Kansas areas by arranging visits as “behavior-as-dialogue.” This approach enables the clinician, animal, and family to be in harmony at all times. The origin of exams is not “touching”, but rather “awareness.” They observe how the eye responds to the voice, how it breaths on the employees' hands, and whether it moves toward or away from motion. Care then unfolds in parts. Skin, coat and joints (which are the pet’s anchoring movements, leaning and stiffening action) Upon the appearance of trust signals, internal investigations of teeth abdomen, and heart rhythm begin. Pet owners provide additional context by describing changes in daily routines, the emergence of new sounds that their pets react to, and shifts in the timing of activities such as walks and meals. Cheney Animal Clinic offers services from early life elegance and diagnostics to energy balance strategies, pain or motion planning, age joint tracking programs, and illness mapping. The periods during which events occur depend on behavioral patterns. Some appointments move faster than others because of specific signs of consent. A number of processes extend gradually through the phases, which enables the animal to comprehend each step. Pets in need of recalibration before the next experience can use Quiet Areas and Pause Zones. The key elements of post-visit care focus on the home language conversion procedures. Look for sleep patterns as she regains her routine and identify subtle clues like disengagement from family, decreased appetite, or being overly protective of her room. It is also advisable to record the time pattern of the behavioral signs. When does restlessness appear? What daily time moment do the hesitations peak? Through its work in the Cheney area and other parts of Kansas, the Cheney Animal Clinic reminds families that pet behavior is a constant living signal rather than something that only emerges during crises. Pets communicate through the pauses, nudges, and shifts they exhibit daily. The most popular services include vaccinations, wellness exams, surgery, cold laser therapy, dental care, house calls, spay/neuter procedures, boarding services, livestock/farm animal care and nutritional counseling. Cheney Animal Clinic empowers pet owners with confidence and ease by performing transparent communication and striving to give the pets the best in whatever they do, whether it is routine wellness plans or critical health problems. The team remains steadfast in its mission to grow and engage the community, ensuring that pets throughout Cheney and beyond (as far as the United States) always have access to quality care.

Don't ever board your dog here!! My dog was house broke before she was boarded in this place, after 4 days, my dog was so severely dehydrated I could see her ribs!! She was trying to lick the condensation off of the car windows on the car ride home!!, she got home and downed 4 bowls of water and 3 bowls of food. I don't think they actually watered the dogs here. She came home and has forgotten potty training and has been peeing on the floors of my house! If they actually let her out of the kennel it may have been once per day. I can't believe that I actually had to pay for these people to abuse my dog. Never again will I ever go to these people for anything vet related for my dog!!!! Read Less

I first heard about the Cheney Animal Clinic a few months ago from a friend that had taken her dog to get it's blood work, shots, teeth extractions and teeth cleaning. I was amazed at the total costs she paid for all of that to be done. It was very reasonable. I made plans to take my mom's dog to see the vet when I flew back into town from Florida. I made an appointment for mom's dog Maggie & just took her in to the clinic this morning. Dr. Birney & his staff were very friendly, listened to our concerns and he told us the steps he wanted to take to make sure Maggie was healthy enough to go through such a deep cleaning of her teeth she needed. Dr Birney & his entire staff were very professional and compassionate. They were very gentle with Maggie and kind to me and my elderly mom who is 87 and truly loves her pets that keep her happy and active. The clinic did Maggie's blood work, pulled 18 teeth, deep cleaned her remaining teeth and supplied us with medication for Maggie to take twice a day for a week. I was a bit shocked Maggie needed so many teeth pulled and Mom & I were bracing for the total costs. "Grand total $223.00" truly a great deal and very affordable. We will definitely return to see Dr. Birney & his staff and will highly recommend him to everyone we know. Thanks again Dr & your wonderful staff. Read Less
