I really don't like giving bad reviews, but I must. I took my cat there for his vacation shots. As well as the fact he started foaming form the mouth. Which the vet claimed was puberty. (I figured out later that my mom planted some Lily plants and he ate a bit of them.) definitely never heard of puberty having that effect. The vet put the shot on his lower abdomen above his hind leg. A few days later I picked him up when he was playing. Then the spot we're the shot were injected he opened! It turned into a horrible infection, an absurd amount of puss and blood spilled out. I cleaned it with hydrogen peroxide, and just made sure my cat kept it clean. I had to spam call the vet for an entire day before he would finally pick up the phone. All he said was that there is always a risk of infection, which I totally get. Still he didn't offer me any follow up treatment or refund on the vacations. So now that I took him to a good vet. I now know that it can't really be know if the shots even worked. So I have to be an over protective cat mom, to try and help make sure he doesn't catch anything. Read Less

This isn't a simple guardian of animals! The people at the animal care center are family! Doc Parsons and his crew have shared pain, love and joy with all my family members over the years. It didn't matter if they came in human or beast form. I only have the most respect and love for this amazing team. I can only share my personal truth with any that care to hear. In my opinion this care center is not motivated by money, social acceptance or pride. They simply love and give. If you have been given the opportunity to be a pet guardian I would only recommend the Animal Care Center for your pets healthcare and grooming needs! I cannot recommend anyone more highly than I do Dr. Parsons. Not only has he taken excellent care of my older cat with allergies and shown a genuine desire to make my cat feel better, but he went above and beyond the call of duty and drove up to Wichita today for me to help me get my cat out of the pound when he escaped. On his day off no less. Dr. Parsons didn't have to do this, and I am extremely grateful for his kindness. Dr. Parsons has always gone above and beyond for our dogs. We had to have one of our dogs put down because she had cancerous lesions. We treated the pain for as long as she could take it. We were unable to take her to Dr. Parson's office due to her pain so he came over to our house instead. He has also come to our house to give immunizations before due to conflicts in scheduling. I cannot recommend a better vet in the El Dorado area. He is the best! Read Less

Dr Justin is the best! And I love that he's able to do most of the bloodwork and other tests in his office so you can find out right away what's wrong with your baby. I've had vets make me wait days for test results and I just spend the entire time obsessing and crying over my little ones. Plus he's super patient and goes way above and beyond. I have a pup with dark nails and he showed me how to clip them so I didn't have to worry about hurting her and he's called us over the weekend to check on one pup when she had some crazy random allergic reaction.
