Biggest waste of money I have ever spent. I took my dog here on an emergency basis, he had bloody clear stools and wouldn’t eat or drink all in about 12 hours. I was very impressed and ready to write a 5 Star review based on the lady on the phone and how quick they could get me in for an appointment. Plus when I arrived 30 minutes early they got me in before my appointment time. I went here based on two other clinics who did not have any appointments open on a Thursday until the following week and I knew my dog would not make it that long without a doctor. When I went in I told Dr. Adley(SP?) how much I had to spend and agreed to an x-ray as well as an over night stay with fluids. Without my consent (yes I filled out the form for them to call me before doing anything other than what we discussed) they did 3 more x-rays and sent them off to the radiologist (radiologist said looked fine), did a Parvo test (Came back negative) and blood work (came back fine) without notifying me. When I told the Doctor that’s not what we discussed he said well we didn’t charge you for the IV and fluids that the dog used over night and he used 3x more than what a dog would typically get... I did agree to a medicine for worms which I did not think my dog has but at this point I would try anything. This is a emotional support dog for one of my children and myself. It is Tuesday going on Wednesday of the next week and now my other dog has stopped eating, is now vomiting and has diarrhea as well. When I called to talk to The Doctor he had left for the day and the other doctor can’t tell me much without seeing my dog which would be another fee... I still have no answers and no direction to turn except to possibly lose my two dogs.

Dr Hodges is a Five Star Plus veterinarian he's treated our baby awesome and gone beyond the extra mile to check up on her and make sure she's okay and explains things very thoroughly if I have a question because I didn't remember or just didn't understand he'll call back and explain it again HE CARES!you cannot get any better !

If I could give them 10 stars I would, the staff is absolutely amazing always so thoughtful and helpful, they see all of our animals from lizards to rabbits , dogs , cats. They have an amazing office with great hours and the prices are way better than most, the care we have received is worth it all on its own. I can’t thank them enough for the care we received when we lost our dog of 17 years. They went out of their way to comfort us. Amazing place!

I switched to Piper from a vet I'd been seeing for 7+ years after a few experiences that made me question the quality of care my dogs were receiving. I am a very selective and careful person, especially when it comes to my dogs. I was extremely impressed with my first visit to Piper. Dr. Nezerka thoroughly examined my dogs, and made special arrangements for my German Shepherd who has vet anxiety due to a long stay at KSU for a spinal injury (also HIGHLY recommend KSU for complicated procedures). I feel confident in the care Dr. Nezerka provided for my dogs and will be using Piper as my primary vet.

The wonderful people at Piper have taken care of our Wire Fox Terrier "Auggie" for his entire 11 years. I cannot imagine finer care being available anywhere else. The doctors are easy to talk to and up on all the latest treatments and innovations in pet care. Auggie is central to my life and happiness and he looks and acts almost the same as when he was a pup. No one ever believes he is 11 when they meet him. Highest recommendation.

I am so beyond blessed that we started coming here! We have spent so many wasted years, tears, and money on Welborn. Ever since we started coming here we have had awesome customer service, knowledgable vets who truly care for our animals, and most importantly healthy animals!!!!!!! I can't thank this place enough. My animals are my children. They deserve nothing but the best care and this place provides it hands down!!!!! They even helped me before I started coming here. One day while I was still a customer at Welborn, I called Piper Heritage Vet Clinic because my cat was having so many issues and when I had taken him to the vet (welborn) they gave him medication and said he would be fine. Hours after that vet visit he was crying and laying on the floor in pain. I called Piper Heritage Vet Clinic literally three minutes before they closed and the lady on the phone was beyond nice and I even told her I wasn't a customer of there's but she was genuinely concerned about me and my cat told me to take him directly to the hospital. Once we arrived at the hospital they told us if we would have waited even just a few more hours he could have hit a point where he wouldn't have been able to recover. This place is truly a life saver!

You guys. This is hands down the best veterinary practice I've ever experienced. I usually go to Dr. Nilges, but all the doctors are wonderful and kind. I also love all the vet techs and receptionists - seriously, they all treat you like family. I used to live in Piper and it was super close for us, but even after we moved to Shawnee we continued to drive 25 minutes to take our pets there. The vets all take time to talk to you and answer all your questions, and if you call and ask to speak to a vet, the vet will call you back personally that day. Not only are the people great, but you just can't beat their prices. Highly recommend!

Piper Heritage is THE best veterinary care I've had for my pets. I love that they don't upsell unnecessary stuff, but provide prompt, high-quality care at reasonable prices and within a reasonable time frame. They are wonderfully sensitive to both my pets' needs and mine. I believe in PHVC so much that I've referred two others to them, and both now say they won't go anywhere else either.

Vet care can be sooo expensive, but PHVC is very conscientious and respectful of their clients financial situations. Most of all the staff is friendly and dedicated. I trust this vet clinic completely...and I am so grateful to them.

Love Piper Heritage and Doctor Smith. This is the most caring veterinary clinic that I have ever taken my animals to. I am old enough to have gone to a lot of different vets in my life. I can't say enough about the excellent care the Dr. Smith and his crew provide for your pet. They are never in a rush, they take time to talk with you and they have great follow-up... I always feel that my pet has gotten the best care possible, along with a dash of love!!!

I switched to Piper from a vet I'd been seeing for 7+ years after a few experiences that made me question the quality of care my dogs were receiving. I am a very selective and careful person, especially when it comes to my dogs. I was extremely impressed with my first visit to Piper. Dr. Nezerka thoroughly examined my dogs, and made special arrangements for my German Shepherd who has vet anxiety due to a long stay at KSU for a spinal injury (also HIGHLY recommend KSU for complicated procedures). I feel confident in the care Dr. Nezerka provided for my dogs and will be using Piper as my primary vet.

We've been through thick and thin, lots of ups and downs, and I always know I can count on them. Couldn't have gotten through so many scares, illnesses, and just plain pet issues without all of them!

The wonderful people at Piper have taken care of our Wire Fox Terrier "Auggie" for his entire 11 years. I cannot imagine finer care being available anywhere else. The doctors are easy to talk to and up on all the latest treatments and innovations in pet care. Auggie is central to my life and happiness and he looks and acts almost the same as when he was a pup. No one ever believes he is 11 when they meet him. Highest recommendation.

I am so beyond blessed that we started coming here! We have spent so many wasted years, tears, and money on Welborn. Ever since we started coming here we have had awesome customer service, knowledgable vets who truly care for our animals, and most importantly healthy animals!!!!!!! I can't thank this place enough. My animals are my children. They deserve nothing but the best care and this place provides it hands down!!!!! They even helped me before I started coming here. One day while I was still a customer at Welborn, I called Piper Heritage Vet Clinic because my cat was having so many issues and when I had taken him to the vet (welborn) they gave him medication and said he would be fine. Hours after that vet visit he was crying and laying on the floor in pain. I called Piper Heritage Vet Clinic literally three minutes before they closed and the lady on the phone was beyond nice and I even told her I wasn't a customer of there's but she was genuinely concerned about me and my cat told me to take him directly to the hospital. Once we arrived at the hospital they told us if we would have waited even just a few more hours he could have hit a point where he wouldn't have been able to recover. This place is truly a life saver!

You guys. This is hands down the best veterinary practice I've ever experienced. I usually go to Dr. Nilges, but all the doctors are wonderful and kind. I also love all the vet techs and receptionists - seriously, they all treat you like family. I used to live in Piper and it was super close for us, but even after we moved to Shawnee we continued to drive 25 minutes to take our pets there. The vets all take time to talk to you and answer all your questions, and if you call and ask to speak to a vet, the vet will call you back personally that day. Not only are the people great, but you just can't beat their prices. Highly recommend!

They have all become a second family for my pets and me. During the good and sad visits over the last 12+ years they have laughed, cried, and shared the love of my pets along with me. This vet office calls you back to answer questions--even after hours on a Friday! It's so obvious that pets are very important to everyone on their staff! I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else!!

Piper Heritage is THE best veterinary care I've had for my pets. I love that they don't upsell unnecessary stuff, but provide prompt, high-quality care at reasonable prices and within a reasonable time frame. They are wonderfully sensitive to both my pets' needs and mine. I believe in PHVC so much that I've referred two others to them, and both now say they won't go anywhere else either.

I'm surprised to be the first to sing the praises of Piper Heritage! I wholeheartedly endorse this practice. They have saved the life of two of my dogs and they are very reasonable. Vet care can be sooo expensive, but PHVC is very conscientious and respectful of their clients financial situations. Most of all the staff is friendly and dedicated. I trust this vet clinic completely...and I am so grateful to them.

Love Piper Heritage and Doctor Smith. This is the most caring veterinary clinic that I have ever taken my animals to. I am old enough to have gone to a lot of different vets in my life. I can't say enough about the excellent care the Dr. Smith and his crew provide for your pet. They are never in a rush, they take time to talk with you and they have great follow-up... I always feel that my pet has gotten the best care possible, along with a dash of love!!!
