I was here with my puppy last week. The girls that work there are so compassionate for the animals they are treating. I’m a first time dog mom and was completely lost on, well, everything. They were very patient with my questions and walk me through every step. This was not what I was expecting from a free clinic. They exceeded my expectations to the max. These guys are offering a great service to the community. Got my dog spayed and also got an E collar, antibiotics, and pain killers for cheaper than what the vet wanted to do the spay alone. Staff was very friendly and helpful as well. If you get the valpak coupons in the mail or know someone who does they have a coupon in there where they'll spay or neuter any dog under a certain weight (i believe its 75 pounds but not 100% sure) for $50, $30 for cats, full set of dog vaccinations for $30 and cats for $20 so keep an eye out for that if you're a penny pincher. I can't begin to say how much I love SNKC and what they do! And I understand how difficult it can be to run a non profit and be in rescue in general. And I am a huge advocate for the Families Better Together program! But regrettably I have to say with my most recent experience I am SO disappointed with their services I needed to go out of town and was needing to board my fur babies, the facility was needing copies of their shot records, easy enough. I called SNKC to reques...t copies be faxed but I could not get any information because they were under my mom's name. I had brought my moms dogs with mine to get vaccinated and when I brought my mom's dogs back for their boosters, I found out my dogs were registered under my mom's name as well. No biggie, I authorized myself as a contact since I take care of my moms dogs for her and I had requested for my dogs to be moved under my name. I called Monday morning before I went to work to try and get this done to schedule the boarding and got nowhere. They needed to talk to my mom to transfer my dogs to me... This would have not been a problem if we lived in a perfect world... They were unable to reach my mom, and I was under the impression their shots were due next month, so when I was able to follow up later in the week and still got nowhere, I decided to call back later as my mom and came to find out they are past due on their shots. So due to their error, I wasn't able to get them vaccinated in time to book the boarding and had to cancel a work trip! Needless to say I was vexed and all their supervisors could tell me is sorry and they understand. Obviously not since I thought this issue was fixed and it wasn't, and I ended up losing out because of their mistake. I am a HUGE supporter of low cost spay and neuter clinics. And SPRAY & NEUTER KC is top notch! Fine people in a state of the art facility. I couldn't be happier with the procedure they did on our puppy. After calling around local veterinarians for prices on neutering our corgi, I was shocked and a bit angry at the prices these veterinary clinics charge. I've worked closely with vets for 40 years having a farm with a lot of cats and dogs over the years. I know what it costs and what it takes to spay/neuter a pet. They should be ashamed! SPRAY & NEUTER KC's price was what it should be. So much so that I paid the bill in full, then donated the difference from one of the high- dollar quotes I got from a local vet. What an unexpected, wonderful experience! Each person that helped us had a great, pleasant attitude and the business runs very smoothly. I walked in with our cats in the morning, and came back later the same day to pick them up. The forms were already pre filled out from making the appointment, so i checked in, dropped them off, and was on the way back home in five minutes. I took my puppy here for the first time today and had a great experience! You can tell the people working here have a genuine love and passion for animals and their health. The wait wasn’t bad because they are so quick. My dog wasn’t gone more than 2 minutes. You can’t go into the room with your pet but they allow you to watch through a window if you want and they worked so well with her. I learned a valuable lesson today. Spay and Neuter especially Ramona came to our rescue! 3 dogs mostly outdoors had 1 large dog house with heat lamp. Animal control came to the house and educated me on the 1 dog per doghouse. Spay and Neuter brought out 3 dog houses and straw! I read the reviews when I was getting ready to bring my dog there to get neutered and was absolutely terrified. I reluctantly went and told myself if I had a bad feeling about the place that I would just leave. When I got there, everyone was so nice and welcoming and answered the hundreds of questions I had. You can't really beat the price. I got my chihuahua neutered, microchipped and rabies vaccination for $140, including pain medication and an e-collar. I adopted two feral kittens within a couple months of each other. SNKC took care of all shots and it was super affordable. They also fixed them both (one spay, one neuter) and did an amazing job. Spay & neuter clinic is such a wonderful palace to take your pets they help you if your low on money we just took are 8 week old kittens in today and got their first round of vaccinations, heart worm and flea medication for only $20 a kitten. We started taking our first dog here for shots when she was older, then when we got our new dog we took him for Neuter, chip and shots! They are so much more affordable! Our older dog passed sadly but we still take our boy there for vaccinations and flea treatments. The people here are very caring and friendly! Our dog is an anxious barker and they don't get annoyed and have actually given us toys and treats to keep him happy! We absolutely love this place and recommend them to everyone we know! Read Less

I find this place the best place to take the pugs to get their shots and tags. I got the microchipped here too. Very affordable and helpful. My pugs didnt really like all the barking but they behaved well and we didnt have to stay long. They expedite the pets fast in and out. A real plus!!! Read Less

Very disappointed this morning, we brought in two cats to yesterday's feral clinic, one kitten who hit the 2 Ibs mark and a 4.6 Ibs female adult. When we were called between 9:30 and 10 am yesterday we were a bit surprised that they were done. The kitten bounced back from surgery amazingly, the bigger female not so much. I have taken my puppy there for a month or so, she has gotten 2 sets of puppy shots, she's been microchiped, spayed and a flea treatment all for under $100. They are a great group of people. They have answered every question I've had and been very friendly on every visit. They are VERY reasonable compared to a vets visit. They offer not only shots but spay, neuter, microchip, flea treatments and free treats. I will continue taking my dog there from now on.
