Extremely unprofessional. The first desk man just hung up on me so my business will go elsewhere. Reading the reviews this man is clearly a issue that Oak Park Veterinary Clinic refuses to address. It's sad to see a business be brought down due to the immature actions of one "grown" man.

My friend lost her dog so we were calling vets to see if they had any information. We called this vet and I spoke to a man who was EXTREMELY rude to me. Every other vet I contacted was kind and patient, we had lost our dog so they understood our distress and treated us with compassion. This man however was nearly on the verge of yelling at me and he was very crass in his responses. If this is how the staff treats their customers or calling patrons then this may not be a great place to take your pets.

I have been going to Dr. Strickland at Oak Park Veterinary Clinic for 14 years now. They are the most caring, loving group of people. Dr. Strickland is amazing with the fur babies and us....parents of the fur babies. She truly cares and has a heart of gold. I 100% recommend her and her clinic and I trust her and love her even more.

Dr. Strickland came highly recommended to me from a very trusted source. She allowed me to bring both my dogs in for a "meet and greet" and she took some time to talk with me and my husband in a relax...
Dr. Strickland came highly recommended to me from a very trusted source. She allowed me to bring both my dogs in for a "meet and greet" and she took some time to talk with me and my husband in a relaxed manner while she gently examined the dogs. My husband later said that the small waiting area was off-putting, but after he met the doctor he was very pleased with the whole experience. I will be going back, and I like that doctor Strickland promotes wellness over reactive medicine. I have not had much time to fully assess their services, but hope to be able to give 5 stars in the future. UPDATE A YEAR LATER: Dr. Strickland and her team have taken excellent care of our dogs, and she really takes their issues seriously. I have 2 young adult dogs who have developed issues requiring ongoing management and she has been amazing. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

This wonderful Doctor, Dennis, Emi and Ashley are family to me. They have loved all my dogs. Wept with me, helped me and always cared as much about the dogs as I do and maybe more. The boarding is excellent. Sailor is always so happy to go there. Runs right into there arms. That's a testament to how well they take care of her. You won't find better anywhere. The groomer is also the best ever.? Thank you all, I love ya!

I have 3 cats and a dog and have been taking all of my pets to Dr Strickland for over 10 years now. She is absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend her. She is excellent at answering all of my questions as simply or as scientifically as I desire. I've never left her office anything but 100% satisfied with the experience. The groomer at her office is top notch as well and they take great care of my long-haired cat when he goes in for a shave. If you're looking for a new veterinarian or a second opinion, definitely put this place on list.

My friend lost her dog so we were calling vets to see if they had any information. We called this vet and I spoke to a man who was EXTREMELY rude to me. Every other vet I contacted was kind and patient, we had lost our dog so they understood our distress and treated us with compassion. This man however was nearly on the verge of yelling at me and he was very crass in his responses. She is excellent at answering all of my questions as simply or as scientifically as I desire. I've never left her office anything but 100% satisfied with the experience.
