At All Creatures Veterinary Center we are dedicated to providing quality service for Newton and the surrounding areas. We offer complete medical care from routine preventative health care to emergency care. We also offer surgical services, a complete pet pharmacy, a full range of diagnostic laboratory services, boarding, grooming and Hill's Science Diet nutritional products
Patients are seen by appointment and walk-ins are welcome as well. After hours emergency care is available too.
DR. RANDY SCHEUERMANN
Dr. Scheuermann graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1988 and has been practicing in the Newton-Hutchinson area for 20+ years. Dr. Scheuermann is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Newton Area Chamber of Commerce. He and his family live in Newton and are actively involved in the community.
HEALTH CARE SERVICES
Our practice provides state-of-the-art pet health care including physical examination, heart worm and parasite prevention and treatment, vaccinations, veterinary surgery and dentistry, 24-hour emergency service, geriatric health care for older pets, and nutritional counseling services.
INTERNAL MEDICINE
We recommend a complete physical exam for your pet on an annual basis. Lots of changes can occur from year to year, especially as your pet gets older. Preventative health care recommendations are made based on the examination findings and your pet's individual needs and situation, which you help us to determine. This may include blood, urine, or fecal tests, vaccinations, dietary or exercise advice, and life-style changes.
VETERINARY SURGERY
We offer both routine surgical procedures like, spaying and neutering as well as more complicated procedures.
DENTAL CARE
Through regular dental exams, cleaning and polishing, our certified dental technician helps extend the quality of life and health of your pet. As well as providing your pet with fresher breath.
EMERGENCY SERVICES
If your pet is in need of after-hours emergency care, simply call our office. Dr. Scheuermann prefers to handle emergency situations himself, rather than referring to clients to an emergency center.
IN HOUSE LABORATORY
All Creatures Veterinary Center has in-house blood chemistry and automated hematology analyzers which allow us to obtain immediate results in routine as well as critical cases.
X-RAY TECHNOLOGY
Our x-ray equipment ensures your pet has minimal exposure to radiation. Within minutes, we have your pet's x-rays taken, processed and ready for interpretation by Dr. Scheuermann.
SENIOR PET CARE
Our goal is to keep your best friend healthy and comfortable for many years through a preventative medicine approach to hlep ensure early diagnosis and treatment. Our senior wellness program screens for many conditions common to older pets: heart conditions, diabetes, kidney disease, arthritis, glaucoma and more.
NUTRITIONAL COUNSELING
Proper nutrition is fundamental to your pet's well-being. Many illnesses can be controlled or even prevented by what your pet eats. We offer a complete line of Hill's Science Diet and Prescription Diet foods to enrich and lengthen your pet's health.

I rate this place a 0. The vet was very rude and unprofessional. When I got there i could hear him yelling at his secretary. Then he acted like he could care less about my puppys well being. Insulted...
I rate this place a 0. The vet was very rude and unprofessional. When I got there i could hear him yelling at his secretary. Then he acted like he could care less about my puppys well being. Insulted me by saying I wouldn't be able to afford an xray while I was standing there with the money in my wallet. I will never ever bring my pet here again. He's so rude!!!

What a great vet! I was travelling through town visiting family when my peekapoo started limping and shaking. He was in obvious pain and I couldnt figure out what was wrong. It was Saturday and almost...
What a great vet! I was travelling through town visiting family when my peekapoo started limping and shaking. He was in obvious pain and I couldnt figure out what was wrong. It was Saturday and almost closing time for him. He fit us in before he left and did a full exam. Not only did he determine that Roscoe had tweaked his leg and it was inflammed but he also had dermatitis and that was why he was chewing on his foot. A few medications and office visit that costed alot less than I feared and we were back on our way. THANK you Dr.Scheurrman. HIGHLY recommend.

I have a conference that I am scheduled to attend Friday Evening and all day Saturday in Topeka. On the website it said clearly that I could pick up my dog after hours if need be, that they would be happy to work with you. When I said I would be back in Newton around 6 o' clock in the evening on Saturday. They asked me if I was a client. I told them "no" that I see another vet in town. The person I spoke with said, "Well we only do after hour pick ups for clients". If you could be back by 12 noon on Saturday. then we could help you out. If you are needing to board your pet I would recommend another company.
