LESLIE B. WEGELE is a 1984 graduate from Kansas State University. He practiced for three years in Oklahoma City with an emphasis on small animal dermatology. In July of 1987, he began practicing veterinary medicine in Kansas City, Missouri at Loma Vista Animal Hospital. He purchased Santa Fe Pet Clinic after 5 1/2 years at Loma Vista. He endeavors to keep up with the most current trends and techniques in veterinary medicine by attending continuing education classes and seminars. He is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Kansas Veterinary Medical Association and the Kansas City Veterinary Medical Association.
MICHELLE L. TAYLOR is a 2005 graduate from Kansas State University. She has special interests in geriatric medicine and animal behavior and brings to Santa Fe Pet Clinic the most current ideas in veterinary medicine. She has worked with local humane groups to care for their animals, and has remained actively involved in animal shelter medicine. She is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Kansas Veterinary Medical Association.

I have been to many pet clinic's and I would have to say this pet clinic is by far the best. The Dr and the staff are super nice, compassionate and was very gentle with my cat. I recently had to have my cat put to sleep and they were so sympathetic and caring. They really seem to care. If I get another cat this is the vet clinic I will be going to. Thank you for all your kind and caring words while I go through this heartbreak of losing my cat. ❤

Albeit I have a vested interest in Santa Fe Pet Clinic, I'm also a very particular pet parent especially in terms of the care my furbabies receive. We have been through our share of Veterinarians due to their inability to provide consistent quality service without gouging the pocket book. While Santa Fe Pet Clinic is not cheap, it is reasonable and the quality of care you should expect from the staff is nothing short of personalized care for you and your kiddos with a consciousness that nobody has unlimited resources whether that's monetary or otherwise. They truly have gone above and beyond to take care of my big guy (Kaiser) and I'd highly recommend Dr. Wegele and his staff/services to any pet parent in the market & wanting to maximize their services and elevate their expectations.

Dr. Wegele and all the staff are wonderful. Santa Fe Pet Clinic is by far the best place I've ever taken my cats. My whole family has taken our pets there for years. I called and asked for an appointment last minute and they fit me right in. My cat had been vomiting every day for a week so I was getting pretty concerned about him. Dr. Wegele gave him a shot and sent us with a few meds and he's healthy as ever now. Would recommend to everyone in the area.

I have been to many pet clinic's and I would have to say this pet clinic is by far the best. The Dr and the staff are super nice, compassionate and was very gentle with my cat. I recently had to have my cat put to sleep and they were so sympathetic and caring. They really seem to care. If I get another cat this is the vet clinic I will be going to. Thank you for all your kind and caring words while I go through this heartbreak of losing my cat. ❤
