Dr. Rose does an amazing job of diagnosing, explains options, and discourages unnecessary tests that won't alter treatment. Twice he has advised me against X-RAYS.

We have used both their boarding services and their very services for both our dog and cat. Both animals have had excellent care and the prices have been reasonable.

Staff was great. Handled my kitty cat so well <3 Just made our experience a lot easier, did everything I asked for, and very well informative. Wish I had taken my other cats there sooner.

I was looking for a place close to home and I couldn't get much closer than this. I was excited to hear their prices were reasonable to...until...I took my kitten to it's appointment. Here is how it went:
I arrived at 7:30 a.m. to drop off the kitten. I was told the day before they open then. I waited outside for several minutes until a girl finally opened the door and snobbishly said, "Are you looking for the vet clinic? We're on THIS side." I had tried both doors in hopes one might be open at 7:30...
After dropping the kitten off, I went on to work assuming he would be put in a cage and given his shots and then go back in a cage with a litter box and some water until I picked him up after work. When I returned to pick him up after work, the girl told me how they had to trim his claws because "it was just safer for them" and that he had spent the day in his crate because he had been upset. Then as she comes through the door with the crate she says, "Oh, he's pretty smelly too. I'm not sure if he's just gassy or what." NO. when I looked in the crate he had pooped and THEY LEFT HIM IN THERE WITH IT ALL DAY. Needless to say, I was pretty angry about how rude the staff was and how they apparently didn't care that they left an animal in a crate for 9 hours with no food, water or litter box.
When it was time to neuter my kitten I called Great Plains who needed to call Trailridge for his shot info. I mentioned that I wasn't sure what they did because they weren't that great at communicating and I'd had a bad experience. The lady from GSPCA said I wasn't the first person to say that.
Don't go to this place. Pay a little extra or drive a little further for quality care and a friendlier staff. I guess now I know why I never see anyone at this place when I drive by. And rightly so. It should be avoided.
