We have been bringing our dogs here since 1990. All of the staff is great. Dr. Chaffin is a strong advocate for her clients, the animals, and she always goes above and beyond for us. The vet here is super knowledgeable and so friendly. She really does care about animals. She took her time with us, about 45 minutes, to make sure all questions were answered and that we knew shat to do in regards oder our sick cat. I didn't realize the followup was not included, and being new to area from a big move, I didn't have muchcash,but they worked with me which was nice. Their fees are really good and fair, but they don't include the following up, which is fine. They are doing loving here and I highly recommend them,,,, they saved my buddies life so I can't say enough good about them.Read Less

We have been taking our dogs here since 1990 and they have always been treated with the best of care. Dr Chaffin is so compassionate and very knowledgeable. She always educates us about the conditions she is treating and guides us through the sometimes tough decisions. Once our dog had developed a raspy sound when he breathed but it could only be heard if he was relaxed. He was always happy so see Dr. Chaffin, so he wasn't very calm. I'll never forget how she lay down on the floor next to him for probably more than 5 minutes, waiting for him to calm down so she could diagnose him. This is just one of many examples I could give. My review is in reference to their Grooming Care: I am so angry! I dropped my one-year-old puppy off at 7:30 AM. I was the first in line. I explained that she had been spayed only two weeks prior and that she was needing special care. "We got it!" they told me. At 12:30, she wasn't ready; 1:30, still not ready; by 2:30 I called and they hadn't even washed her yet! By 3:30 I walked into the All Care Animal Hospital and took back my dog-- ungroomed! I could not believe it--8 hours and no water and no potty break. I took her to my car and gave her water. She lapped it up. I let her go potty and she was needing to have a BM immediately. I will never go back! I am still very angry. Unbelievable. UPDATE: The clinic has been sending me bills now for the past two months for $47 with late charges! They did not groom my dog. And on two previous visits the most I ever paid was $32. This just gets crazier and stranger. They have no concept of customer relations. Awful! Read Less

allcare animal hospital has been the kindest most caring vet I've ever run in to. I had some terrible experiences with 1 vet that I so trusted with my heart only to watch and wonder why my doxie's were dying or about there. allcare took us in and i will be grateful for all my life at the expertise and kindness they showed to an already very damaged doxie from previous vet. tragedy came to my loved one, and we hope to return very soon to the very best, and kindest, blessed vets we've ever know. recommend highly and was so happy that they called us when we really didn't know where to go. thank you one million times over for helping us. most certainly a christmas miracle if we can get loved one out of hospital and healthy, and back in time to save doxie's which allcare already helped so very much; but a new unforseen complication came up with doxie after leaving allcare from criminal care of 1st vet but with faith; i hope all will be well. thanks so much again, and i will tell all facebook friends, and family and eveyone my wonderful experience thus far with allcare. debbie fitzgeraldRead Less

I got my cats jack and sally from here I still bring them here along with my puppy scrappy. Dr chaffin and all the staff care so much for their patients and their owners they do a great job with my animals. I will be coming back soon to have them groomed by their groomer April she does a great job with them. Read Less

I took my one-year-old puppy to Allcare to be groomed. I explained when I dropped her off that she had been spayed only two weeks prior. I explained she needed some extra care. "No problem. We got it," they said. I dropped her off at 7:30 AM and was the first in line to register her for grooming. At 12:30 she wasn't ready, and I was a little concerned. By 1:30, still no call and at 2:30, I called Allcare and she hadn't even been WASHED yet. By 3:30, I went and took my dog back from Allcare--UNGROOMED! No apology, no explanation. I was furious. She had no water and no potty break. As soon as I got her to the car I gave her water and she lapped it up (as it was coming out of the bottle into the dish). She immediately needed to have a BM. I will never go back to this groomer. It should be call Don'tcare Animal Hospital. Horrible. Read Less

I have gone here for 15+ years and would not trust my animals anywhere else. Dr. Chaffin's #1 priority is ALWAYS that of her patients...the animals. Her advice is spot on, her care is beyond exceptional. I strongly recommend this office to everyone I know, and will continue to do so! Read Less

I've been taking my four legged family members  to Allcare for over 20 years and wouldn't go anywhere else for my animals care.  They have laughed and cried along side with us and treat our animals as if they are theirs.  They are compassionate, but also straight forward regarding our animals mortality.   They have stayed late, come in early, come in on days off for our dogs care.  If you want your pets to be cared for by the best, then take them to Allcare!!! Dr. Verona Chaffin has been my vet for maybe 30 years! I would not go to any other vet to the point that when she started adding other vets to her practice, it took me a long while to allow the others to see my dog. They are all competent BTW and know my particular dog's issues. Verona, always treats my dog, ON THE FLOOR, because he is a jumper and cannot be trusted to stay on the table. She thinks through any problem and does her research if necessary. She has given me sound advice regarding care and 'cost of care' over the years through 3 dogs. There have been staff issues on and off over the years but all offices have these issues and they are eventually resolved. Best Vet ever... Read Less

have seen Verona Chaffin for about 3 years now. She is a very caring vet, and I would highly recommend her. I totally trust her with my animal babies. She has cared for my cats and my little dogs. I've always been happy with her caring nature. She is upfront, no lies and will tell you her opinion that is just her personality. I am ok with that, I need to hear the truth at times. I spoil my babies, and I need to hear if I need to alter my care in any way. Different people's perceptions can be different, but hands down I believe in Dr. Chaffin.....she has many years experience and a big heart under her up front no lies personality. I'll go back in a heartbeat! Happy to call her my vet! Excellent care, very knowledgeable and years of experience. Apparently, Verona Chaffin's Veterinarian's office thinks it's perfectly acceptable to scream at their clients in the waiting room.  It's one thing if you're unable to put forth a friendly demeanor, it's quite another if you're unable to maintain any level of professionalism.  Poor quality of work, poor customer relationship, poor attitude.  There are PLENTY of places in the area to take your pets.  I highly suggest you look elsewhere.Response to Adam B.:  I'm glad you've had a positive experience here.  Unfortunately, it was Verona Chaffin doing the yelling, not her staff (after re-reading my review, I can see how that was unclear.  Apologies.).  After examining our dog, she stormed back into the waiting room to scream in our faces in front of both her staff and her other clients.  After pursuing the reviews on Google, I'm starting to see this is a pattern that has only manifested in the past six months, but that's no excuse.  That on top of the poor stitching job that was preventing healing and we certainly won't be recommending her services.  A passion for pets is great, but being unable to effectively perform her job or communicate to her clients makes Allcare a clinic to avoid.Update: Turns out, you can add "stitches" to the list.  Our dog's stitches were re-done today.  Our new veterinarian was very curious to know who did the stitches in the first place, as they were put in so tight it was hindering the healing process and causing issues. I had brought in my dog for her yearly vaccinations and while we were waiting in the room the assistant came out to let me know that the doctor was not ready yet but she could go ahead and give her the vaccination. She took my dog to a back room where I couldn't see which I didn't think too much of until I heard a loud bang followed by yelping sounds. As I was about to open that door to see the assistant came back with my dog giving me a dirty look and I asked her what happened. She angrily replied, "your dog jumped off the counter top," as if it was my fault that she lost control of my dog; gee, who ever heard of a dog being nervous at a vets office? She did not even apologize, when the vet finally came in I told her about the incident which she seemed to not even care and no apology from her either or even to examine if she was injured. My dog is thankfully okay now but believe me I will not be coming back to this place. DO NOT GO HERE! Read Less
