When your dogs ENJOY going to the vet, you know you have found a good one! My family began taking our dogs there when our Rottweiler had an eye issue that we couldn't resolve. Our previous vet seemed to just keep prescribing medicine that was not helping- and didn't seem to know what was causing the issue. Dr. Rollins examined him and immediately identified the problem, which could have blinded our dog if left untreated. So glad we got a second opinion from him! Since then, he has been our primary vet. My other Rottie was bit by a tick a few summers ago and contracted Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. Again, Dr. Rollins knew exactly what the problem was and helped us get on a treatment plan right away! Just recently we had to take both our dogs in unexpectedly- one for a broken toenail and the other for a food allergy reaction. They were able to see our dogs quickly, and get them taken care of! I have been bringing my 10 year old Cairn Terrier to see Dr. Rollins since I bought her at 12 weeks old. Dr. Rollins has also been the family vet to all of the various dogs I had growing up for 20+ years in North Topeka. They are great at working you into their schedule quickly, and I have found Dr. Rollins and his wife to be a great team at working with scared and sick animals, as well as with neurotic and worried pet-parents, such as myself. They are very professional, but it is a comfortable atmosphere. Prices are exceptionally reasonable and Dr. Rollins is very good at making things work for your budget. I would highly recommend Pleasant Hill Animal Hospital -- I have had a few other experiences with other vets and Dr. Rollins and team are far superior in all areas of customer service and they really care about you and your pet.Read Less

We've used Pleasant Hill many times and they've always been amazing. They're great with our about animals and always very friendly and helpful. They have been very good as far as pricing, also. I have gone to several vets in my life and no one can compare to Pleasant Hill Animal Hospital. The Dr. doesn't "over treat" your pet; he does exactly what is necessary. They also don't charge outrageous prices for their services either. They are extremely friendly and understanding. I recently had to have the Dr. euthanize my 13 year old dog due to a stroke and the Dr. explained what was happening without being too technical; while keeping the atmosphere personal and allowing us to grieve while we said our goodbyes. I trust them with our beloved pets completely and will continue to take my animals to them exclusively. Read Less
