I called for an emergency call about my dog. Secretary said the Dr would call us back. 2 hours later I called, the Dr. Answered the phone and was rude and unhelpful had a horrible tone with me.

It's a small business that's run by just the vet. He's extremely nice, very helpful, and even offered to stay late so we could stop by when we called with concerns about our cat.
We were able to get in quickly, both my cat and my husband and I were treated kindly and our concerns taken seriously, and the Dr. Zupka made to to explain in detail what we needed for our cat and why. He also said don't hesitate to call if things got worse and that the after hours emergency line went directly to him.
It was a very good experience.

Dr. Matt Zupka literally saved our dog's life. We originally started with a different vet, but when Rockne got sick, puking up everything he ate, refusing to drink and acting lethargic, there was a mix-up with the receptionist and we could not get in to be seen.
It was pure chance that I stopped by Sherwood Animal Clinic on my way home to ask if he'd be willing to see Rockne. Dr. Zupka told me to bring him in right away. He was seen almost immediately.
It would take forever if I told the entire story, but after days of 8-4 care, a late night visit (until 11:00pm), and a house call, Dr. Zupka had identified the issue and put Rockne on the path to good health again.
We look at our loving, energetic dog and can't believe that only weeks ago he was on his death bed. Thanks to Dr. Zupka, he's back to his crazy self again.

I took my puppy to 2 different Veterinarians in Topeka before I found Dr. Matt Zupka at Sherwood Animal Clinic. I could tell from the start that Dr. Matt sincerely cares about pets & their well being. He is professional, friendly, and his prices are fair. I didn't get the same treatment from the other Vets in Topeka & felt like I was taken advantage of. I highly recommend taking your pets to see Dr. Matt for all your Veterinarian needs.
