AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I took my dog here recently and would not advise anyone to take their pet to see this doctor. If it wasn't for the nursing staff, I would have no faith in getting competent medical treatment here.
The owner/doctor clearly has either dementia or ALZ. He kept asking the same 2 or 3 questions OVER AND OVER again (not getting clarification, just couldn't remember he asked it already).
There is no way to get competent medical treatment here if the treating physician can't remember what you just told him.

I've been taking my pets to Dr. Fischer for twenty-seven years now, starting with Baby the cat in 1989, and including the cats Tobermory, The Road Warrior, Vladimir, and Atilla.
When I found a stray dog in 2010 she was boarded for free while I tried to find the owner. I ended up adopting her myself, and on her death I got Nathan the dog.
Care for all these animals couldn't have been better. I'm glad I visited Dr. Fischer in 1989, when I returned to Topeka.

I've only been there one time for my ten week old puppy's first exam and shots but they are way more personal and caring than where I had been going for the previous five years. I enjoyed the appointment so much and the information that they shared with me. It really means a lot that they truly care about the well being of my baby's health and the relationship I have with him. I'll definitely be going here from now on!

This refutes the item one of our clients wrote about boarding a dog at our facility. The client in the review did not tell the full story. The dog in question was brought without an appointment because the lade who was to care for the pet said it tried to bite. Indeed, while Dr. Fischer was on vacation, the staff could not approach the canine. They had to feed, water, and wash the run under the door. This has never happened before or since. The client would take no responsibility for his lack of communication about this dog's behavior.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I took my dog here recently and would not advise anyone to take their pet to see this doctor. If it wasn't for the nursing staff, I would have no faith in getting competent medical treatment here.
The owner/doctor clearly has either dementia or ALZ. He kept asking the same 2 or 3 questions OVER AND OVER again (not getting clarification, just couldn't remember he asked it already).

I've been taking my pets to Dr. Fischer for twenty-seven years now, starting with Baby the cat in 1989, and including the cats Tobermory, The Road Warrior, Vladimir, and Atilla.
When I found a stray dog in 2010 she was boarded for free while I tried to find the owner. I ended up adopting her myself, and on her death I got Nathan the dog.
Care for all these animals couldn't have been better. I'm glad I visited Dr. Fischer in 1989, when I returned to Topeka.

I've only been there one time for my ten week old puppy's first exam and shots but they are way more personal and caring than where I had been going for the previous five years. I enjoyed the appointment so much and the information that they shared with me.
