Our dog keep losing weight and other vet couldn't figure out what was wrong. Blair Doon looked at him and did a sonagram on him and new exactly what it was. There a little high on there price but you get what you pay for. I'm in the ml process of getting all my dogs over to her. Great place to go staff very nice and helpful.

They've been taking care of my dogs for 20+ years. All the vets there (but most notably Jennifer & Cheryl) seem to be very good at identifying the real problem, running the right tests, and caring for my babies when the need it most. It's by no means cheap, but I'm sure they're in line with most other vets charge. For some reason my dogs have lived long lives, far in excess of life expectancy for their respective breeds.

I have been stressing about which vet I should go to for far too long. I just wanted someone reliable, safe, educated, caring, and priced appropriately. Blair Doon meets all of these criteria.
Blair Doon and their talented team absolutely takes away any worry I have when it comes to taking care of my animals. They are very educated, caring, considerate and patient with both animal and owner. They listened to my concerns and treated my animal with kindness. After a few inspections were done, the vet brought in the x-rays and walked me step-by-step of what everything meant -- she even printed out a bunch of extra information on the disorder so I could take it home! They sent me an email after the visit with answers to some questions I had and more information on the medication I will be receiving. They definitely go the extra mile, and its well appreciated!!
As a poor college student who has taken animals elsewhere and cried after the bill, their prices were extremely reasonable. Not only do I feel they are reasonable, but they informed me of how much things would cost before they did them (x-rays, blood tests), which helped me, the customer, feel more comfortable once the bill was in my hands.
I will not go anywhere else. Blair Doon is the go-to vet for any future furry family members I obtain. They're fantastic!

I have three dogs and have been taking them all to Blair Doon for over seven years. I have been going to Blair Doon despite living in Clearwater, KS about 30 minutes away and living in Goddard, KS about 45 minutes away. I love everything about them! They're reliable, compassionate, and extremely friendly. From something as little as a checkup to something more concerning like allergies, shots, teeth cleanings and even my dogs being spayed and neutered. They have always done a wonderful job. Although there are many Vet places (especially closer to us) I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else! Thank you Blair Doon!

I'm sorry for inconveniencing you with my pet's emergency over the holiday weekend. I'm sure " waiting for us for over an hour " memeorial day morning was a huge sacrifice for your family. We know how awful it is to have to wait as we waited for a vet to see us for 2 days to treat my poor puppy who has a gaping wide hole in his stomach needing immediate attention. Our other option was an emergency care vet who wanted far too much than my family could afford for a visit in the middle of a holidy weekend. I know how awful it is to sacriffice your time that you cherish, on our way out to your vet hospital we had a flat tire and had to walk 0.5 miles to a gas station carrying our dog to get a call for help because we didn't have a cell phone. When we arrived to Blair Doon to finally get our little boy fixed it was like reaching dry land. Our weekend that was supposed to be relaxing and fun was only over troubled water. I could hear in your voice your frustration when we came through door late, you said Cheryl has waited for over an hour for us and you said it with so much disdain it would've broken the strongest person. After a weekend like ours I understand your frustration, its just too bad you couldn't have had that kind of compassiom for us. The heartlessness that was displayed to us apon our arrival was sickening. Sorry again for ruining your Memorial day morning. God bless.

Blair Doon Veterinary Hospital is the best ever! I have been taking my fur kids here for 20+ years! I started seeing Dr. Sullivan when they were located on K15 in front of the former location of the Humane Society. They are a very caring and professional group of folks with reasonable rates. I like that they take of the emergencies of their clients/patients 24/7. I can't say enough good about them! All 3 vets and vet techs are the best, also office personnel very compassionate and caring. I have moved a few times in the last 20 years, but will still drive however many miles it takes to get my fur kids to them.

I have been going to Blair Doon for the last 12 years since I gotta cat Orion. They helped me care for him from a 8 week old kitten till he was 11 and had gotten cancer. Even if I called and left a voicemail in the late evening I would get a prompt call back and not only treatment or help with one of his many different hereditary health issues but they would either remember him nose to tail or have his file ready at hand. I have never received better care at not only any veterinary clinic but even at a Drs office for myself. Every pet I ever own will go to see the amazing staff here. It doesn't matter that I have to drive 45 minutes from Clearwater they would be worth several hours of driving for my babies. My cat Indi and Corgi Aurora both love them dearly.

As a poor college student who has taken animals elsewhere and cried after the bill, their prices were extremely reasonable. Not only do I feel they are reasonable, but they informed me of how much things would cost before they did them (x-rays, blood tests), which helped me, the customer, feel more comfortable once the bill was in my hands.
I will not go anywhere else. Blair Doon is the go-to vet for any future furry family members I obtain. They're fantastic!

I have three dogs and have been taking them all to Blair Doon for over seven years. I have been going to Blair Doon despite living in Clearwater, KS about 30 minutes away and living in Goddard, KS about 45 minutes away. I love everything about them! They're reliable, compassionate, and extremely friendly. From something as little as a checkup to something more concerning like allergies, shots, teeth cleanings and even my dogs being spayed and neutered. They have always done a wonderful job. Although there are many Vet places (especially closer to us) I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else! Thank you Blair Doon!

I'm sorry for inconveniencing you with my pet's emergency over the holiday weekend. I'm sure " waiting for us for over an hour " memeorial day morning was a huge sacrifice for your family. We know how awful it is to have to wait as we waited for a vet to see us for 2 days to treat my poor puppy who has a gaping wide hole in his stomach needing immediate attention. Our other option was an emergency care vet who wanted far too much than my family could afford for a visit in the middle of a holidy weekend. I know how awful it is to sacriffice your time that you cherish, on our way out to your vet hospital we had a flat tire and had to walk 0.5 miles to a gas station carrying our dog to get a call for help because we didn't have a cell phone. When we arrived to Blair Doon to finally get our little boy fixed it was like reaching dry land. Our weekend that was supposed to be relaxing and fun was only over troubled water. I could hear in your voice your frustration when we came through door late, you said Cheryl has waited for over an hour for us and you said it with so much disdain it would've broken the strongest person. After a weekend like ours I understand your frustration, its just too bad you couldn't have had that kind of compassiom for us. The heartlessness that was displayed to us apon our arrival was sickening. Sorry again for ruining your Memorial day morning. God bless.

Wonderful vet. I brought my 11 year old cat in to be seen for an eye infection. I was very happy to find a place open on labor day weekend. The receptionist was awesome and moved things around so Sapphire would not have to wait until Tuesday. The staff was nice. The vet was awesome. They also have very reasonable exam fees.

Blair Doon Veterinary Hospital is the best ever! I have been taking my fur kids here for 20+ years! I started seeing Dr. Sullivan when they were located on K15 in front of the former location of the Humane Society. They are a very caring and professional group of folks with reasonable rates. I like that they take of the emergencies of their clients/patients 24/7. I can't say enough good about them! All 3 vets and vet techs are the best, also office personnel very compassionate and caring. I have moved a few times in the last 20 years, but will still drive however many miles it takes to get my fur kids to them.

The best vet clinic! I've been with them for over 15 years and they never disappoint. Each doctor has strengths and they work together beautifully to take care of their patients. They treat each patient as if it was one of their own. And each owner is treated with dignity and respect and is made an integral part of the dogs care and finding a cure. I have been going to Blair Doon for the last 12 years since I gotta cat Orion. They helped me care for him from a 8 week old kitten till he was 11 and had gotten cancer. Even if I called and left a voicemail in the late evening I would get a prompt call back and not only treatment or help with one of his many different hereditary health issues but they would either remember him nose to tail or have his file ready at hand. I have never received better care at not only any veterinary clinic but even at a Drs office for myself. Every pet I ever own will go to see the amazing staff here. It doesn't matter that I have to drive 45 minutes from Clearwater they would be worth several hours of driving for my babies. My cat Indi and Corgi Aurora both love them dearly.
