They take such good care of our cats! They were both shelter animals with lots of health issues including malnourishment, worms, food allergies, anxiety, barbering, etc. and they are doing so well now...
They take such good care of our cats! They were both shelter animals with lots of health issues including malnourishment, worms, food allergies, anxiety, barbering, etc. and they are doing so well now thanks to the care and advice we've gotten from Northrock. I've called or walked in with questions multiple times and am always able to get in for an appointment when I need to.

I used to love this place, the doctors are so great. But the support staff has really changed and dropped in quality, from the doc’s assistants to the front desk. Unfortunately, because we interact with the support staff more-so than the actual doctors, it matters very much that they are competent and friendly.
I now have the discouraging task of finding a new vet that I like as much as I USED to like Northrock, because today’s interaction was the last straw for me.

I'll tell you I went through so much with Sofia and she is so healthy now just look at her Northrock hospital is the best everyone there is so kind and compassionate they treat you with a lot of love and care thank you Northrock look at my baby girl she looks wonderful doesn't she's my 4-pound 7 month old baby girl and so very healthy that's thank you to all the people at Northrock. I love this place. I would not take my fur-babies any where else! My cat Jack had to have surgery recently. He was so well cared for. He hated his cone of shame and pulled it off often. The staff were patient with him and found a way to keep it on him. He is doing so much better now. He's such a happy cat to have his UTI issues finally under control. I would not go anywhere else!

I was not a client at Northrock when my boy became very ill over the Thanksgiving holiday. My Vet along with 90% of the other veterinarians were closed. They took time away their families to help mine. They treated Stuart as if I had been taking him there since he was a puppy. They diagnosed that he was in severe heart failure. They were very honest and upfront about his situation. They did absolutely everything they could to help him. When it was time to end his suffering. They were so compassionate and patient with me. They made us both as comfortable as possible. I was allowed to hold him as he passed. The entire staff has my respect and my future business.

I absolutely love Northrock Animal hospital. We had recently relocated back to Wichita. Unfortunately our veterinarian in Louisiana had given our precious Oliver very questionable care regarding his puppy vaccinations. We were worried and hesitant to question our vet, however following our gut we emailed Northrock for a second opinion. We received a prompt and knowledgable reply. I was able to schedule an appointment the same day. The front desk technician, Elizabeth was as warm and friendly in person as she was over the phone. Not to mention, I absolutely adore Dr. Sherck. She was very understanding of our concern and knowledgable regarding how to proceed with care for our puppy. We left our appointment feeling assured and comfortable knowing he had received such excellent care. We will continue to use Northrock for all of Oliver's future needs. I will absolutely recommend Dr. Sherck and Northrock animal hospital to family and friends.

My dog had an allergic reaction to a bug bite, which caused her eye to become severely inflamed, to the point where she was unable to see. I called on a Saturday morning, and even though they were booked solid and I had not been there before, they were able to get her in to be seen that morning! The care that my 13 year old German Shepard received was top-notch.
They even called a few days later to follow-up and ensure that everything was going well. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and compassionate vet clinic in the Wichita-area!

I live in Oklahoma and recently was visiting family in Wichita when my dog became ill. I called a couple of vets but they couldn't see him because it was late in the day. Then I called Northrock. They gave me a 4:40 appt. (they close at 5). They treated my dog and employ the nicest people I have ever dealt with at a vet's office! I returned to Oklahoma and a couple of days later called me to see how my dog was doing. I would recommend this office to anyone seeking treatment for their pets. Even though this was an emergency appt. the cost was very reasonable. Thank you again for your help and God bless true animal lovers!

I have never experienced a place better than Northrock Hospital for Animals. They treat me like the clinic is there just specifically for my pet only. Everyone in the clinic always greets my dog and treats her as if she belongs to them personally. My dog looks forward to going in once she realizes we are there and runs up to the staff to greet them, and loves her doctor. She has had two surgeries there, and dental cleanings, and other procedures. My dog is ten years old and healthier than I would ever have imagined and I completely credit Northrock for this. Dr. Rypma has given my dog the best care and given me the best advice for my dog, and I have never been taken advantage of. I love all the staff there, and even the staff that work in the back treat her with such special care. It is a blessing to find such a trustworthy place for my dog, who means everything to me.

I'm almost 60 and I've had cat's the majority of my live. LuckIy I've only had to have three of my cats actually put to sleep by a Vet. My thought's are this cat is not a pet to me, it's a family member. They stand by YOU in life so when it comes to a close I choose to stand by THEM in their passing on too Heaven. Northrock's staff were so respectful of my ferrel cat that was naturally frightened I was impressed with how they treated her with compassion and respect through EVERY step of the process. Thankfully it awed me enough to contain my grief which I was pleased with.

I had my first experience with Dr. Unruh today and unfortunately it was not a happy time but Dr. Unruh has such a warm personality it made things a little better. The admin staff is always so helpful and always has a smile on their face, they make it simply a pleasure to walk through the door.

I love this place. I would not take my fur-babies any where else! My cat Jack had to have surgery recently. He was so well cared for. He hated his cone of shame and pulled it off often. The staff were patient with him and found a way to keep it on him. He is doing so much better now. He's such a happy cat to have his UTI issues finally under control. I would not go anywhere else!

I was not a client at Northrock when my boy became very ill over the Thanksgiving holiday. My Vet along with 90% of the other veterinarians were closed. They took time away their families to help mine. They treated Stuart as if I had been taking him there since he was a puppy. They diagnosed that he was in severe heart failure. They were very honest and upfront about his situation. They did absolutely everything they could to help him. When it was time to end his suffering. They were so compassionate and patient with me. They made us both as comfortable as possible. I was allowed to hold him as he passed. The entire staff has my respect and my future business.

I absolutely love Northrock Animal hospital. We had recently relocated back to Wichita. Unfortunately our veterinarian in Louisiana had given our precious Oliver very questionable care regarding his puppy vaccinations. We were worried and hesitant to question our vet, however following our gut we emailed Northrock for a second opinion. We received a prompt and knowledgable reply. I was able to schedule an appointment the same day. The front desk technician, Elizabeth was as warm and friendly in person as she was over the phone. Not to mention, I absolutely adore Dr. Sherck. She was very understanding of our concern and knowledgable regarding how to proceed with care for our puppy. We left our appointment feeling assured and comfortable knowing he had received such excellent care. We will continue to use Northrock for all of Oliver's future needs. I will absolutely recommend Dr. Sherck and Northrock animal hospital to family and friends.

My dog had an allergic reaction to a bug bite, which caused her eye to become severely inflamed, to the point where she was unable to see. I called on a Saturday morning, and even though they were booked solid and I had not been there before, they were able to get her in to be seen that morning! The care that my 13 year old German Shepard received was top-notch.
They even called a few days later to follow-up and ensure that everything was going well. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and compassionate vet clinic in the Wichita-area!

I live in Oklahoma and recently was visiting family in Wichita when my dog became ill. I called a couple of vets but they couldn't see him because it was late in the day. Then I called Northrock. They gave me a 4:40 appt. (they close at 5). They treated my dog and employ the nicest people I have ever dealt with at a vet's office! I returned to Oklahoma and a couple of days later called me to see how my dog was doing. I would recommend this office to anyone seeking treatment for their pets. Even though this was an emergency appt. the cost was very reasonable. Thank you again for your help and God bless true animal lovers!

I have never experienced a place better than Northrock Hospital for Animals. They treat me like the clinic is there just specifically for my pet only. Everyone in the clinic always greets my dog and treats her as if she belongs to them personally. My dog looks forward to going in once she realizes we are there and runs up to the staff to greet them, and loves her doctor. She has had two surgeries there, and dental cleanings, and other procedures. My dog is ten years old and healthier than I would ever have imagined and I completely credit Northrock for this. Dr. Rypma has given my dog the best care and given me the best advice for my dog, and I have never been taken advantage of. I love all the staff there, and even the staff that work in the back treat her with such special care. It is a blessing to find such a trustworthy place for my dog, who means everything to me.

I'm almost 60 and I've had cat's the majority of my live. LuckIy I've only had to have three of my cats actually put to sleep by a Vet. My thought's are this cat is not a pet to me, it's a family member. They stand by YOU in life so when it comes to a close I choose to stand by THEM in their passing on too Heaven. Northrock's staff were so respectful of my ferrel cat that was naturally frightened I was impressed with how they treated her with compassion and respect through EVERY step of the process. Thankfully it awed me enough to contain my grief which I was pleased with.
