I tried to get my dog neutered with this organization. They are very selective to who they will spay and neuter for. I met all requirements that they asked of. Even met with them in person for proof. But because of how a adopted my pet they can not neuter him. He has since gotten under my fence and bred the neighbors poodle mix! Im am just so upset! I never wanted to cause more unwanted pets..... im literally sick over it! They do not care to help the pet population! Absolutely disgusting organization!

DONT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE! They find every excuse not to help! Very disappointed in this spay and neuter place they advertise they are for low income families yet I am on food stamps disability and support three people and can’t get my dogs neutered because I don’t live in the right area! Seriously? I have been house sitting for a friend that has passed away the house is in foreclosure and I can be homeless at any moment! I have proof of my income proof of my state help and need the dogs neutered and shots so I can move to a place of my own before I end up homeless. No wonder lower income people don’t try for more help there seems to always be something to prevent a person from getting the help they need. By the way my dogs are my therapy dogs I need them for my own mental well-being I’m devastated and at a total loss

Since Spay-Neuter Ks began serving the Wichita area I've taken several cats and a couple of dogs to them. I've had remarkable results always with the animals and have been very grateful for the low cost. Recently they saved one of my street cats life who was suffering a tubal pregnancy unbeknownst to me. She's happy and healthy now. One thing I like best is they have remained affordable while other low cost clinics prices keep inching up. They usually can get an appointment made rather quickly and I've been able to refer several of my friends to them. Wichita is very fortunate to have this resource for its animals and the professional staff and vet to serve this community. Lavender Cat Friends.

I have gone here before with my cat. No problems with surgery, the vet tends to be rude and not real people friendly. I can deal with that fine. Just had my dog neutered. Went to pick him up and the whole back end of him was covered in blood. Got all over us and vet. She took him back to look, came back out saying his tail was bleeding from happy tail. Ok again i can deal. But here is the thing...she sent us home with him bloody. No clean up nothing. In the car we go like a murder scene. I should have demanded him cleaned. We get home. His tail is fine. His scrotum is dripping blood. Called vet 2 times no call back that night. 2 loads of bloody laundry and a miserable night i call again in the morning. No answer. Hours later i get a call back. She claims he must have chewed his stitches out. NO! she handed me him this way. She then tells me he needs another surgery and more costs!! Hell no! She then calls back tells me to go to another vet she suggests. So off we go. My dog had a blood vessel not sealed. It had to be carterized. Packed with antibiotics and stapled. By the way the new vet said he still had all his stitches. . The new vet seemed upset at my ordeal as anyone would. She didnt charge me a dime! So now my dog is happy and healing! To top off his registration for the city she gave me is a pit bull. Hes NOT a pit. So now i have to figure that out..bottom line im not saying do not go here. It is cheep but just because it is cheep pet owners should not have to deal w half ass care. If blood is still coming out....demand a re-check and exam. Not a 2 sec one a RE-CHECK EXAM! You paid for a service.

I was an apartment manager at a low income complex. One of my tenants had a cat he was letting in and out who had not been neutered. I contacted the Clinic and they graciously offered to help. I took my tenant and his cat to the clinic and could not believe how kind the staff was to him. The procedure went well and the best part is there won't be dozens of kittens running around the complex. Thank you Spay Neuter of Kansas for helping people the way you do. Lots of love and dedication go into this program and you are making a big dent in the unwanted animal population. Kudos to the staff - you are the best!

We took all four of our cats here to be spayed/neutered and we were very happy with this clinic. It is a "bare-bones" facility and there are no other services beyond the procedure and vaccinations at the time of the procedure. There are financial criteria that clients must meet, but for families with limited financial resources, it is a great value. I was worried about infection, particularly with the more invasive spay, but all four of the cats recovered nicely. My husband and I recommend this clinic for families looking for low-cost spay and neutering.

I took my tenant and his cat to the clinic and could not believe how kind the staff was to him.
