The receptionist was rude and said they wouldn’t be able to help me because I wouldn’t be able to get there until a few minutes before close (due to difficulties with my primary vet clinic being closed to move and banfield only had one doctor that was in surgery at the time), if I didn’t waste time going to the other clinics I would’ve been able to get to this one much sooner. They clearly don’t care about the animals if they can’t even take a few minutes to look at my dog.

I brought my dog, Angel in for a dental cleaning and tooth extractions. Everyone I dealt with at Helten Veterinary Clinic was very friendly, caring, and professional. Everything that was done for Angel was thoroughly explained to me. All of my questions and concerns were addressed. Angel is recovering very well and is healthier now that her teeth have been professionally cleaned and the needed extractions were done. What a great group of veterinary professionals!

I have gone to Helten Vet for many years now. I have had experience with both Dr. Helten and now Dr.'s Albertson. I can't say enough good things about this clinic! I never feel like they are doing unnecessary procedures with my dog that will end up costing me more money. If I bring in my dog and she's sick they always follow up a few days later and make sure she is doing ok with the new medicine, or has gotten better. They are so caring! Try them out, you wont regret it!

I took my 10 year old Pom in because of stinky breath. Dr. Albertson was able to pinpoint the cause right away and explain to me the problem. We ran some tests on my baby to make sure she is healthy (which other than her teeth she is!) and he explained to me my options as far as treatments are concerned. Absolutely no pressure to do anything I didn't want to, very blunt and upfront about what costs are, and it is clear that he cares! Highly recommended.

I took my baby in yesterday and had her examined and brought up to date on her vaccinations. After 5-8 years of avoiding vets, I am so glad I found this one. Very knowledgeable, helpful, and up front with you on pricing and best course of action for care. I appreciate the time Dr. Albertson took with my little princess. I will be going back and will recommend to anyone with precious babies who never use the "d word" to describe them!

The staff are all so welcoming and the loving care our dogs received at the hands of Jason & Heather Albertson was so appreciated. Brady is an excellent groomer as well. We've been extremely pleased by each job he's done on TJ.

Despite Dr. Helten retiring from the daily operations, the high quality I've become accustomed to has not changed. My family and I have been coming to Helten for many years because they were able to take care of our rodent family members (hamsters and now rats). Unfortunately, we lost one of our ratty friends on the operating table in an attempt to remove a large tumor (the odds were more stacked against us than I accepted: he was older, recently put through a lot of stress from traveling, and his tumor had become so massive and his quality of life had diminished more than I believed).
Despite our loss, Dr Albertson and the staff at Helten handled the situation with respect, empathy, and the utmost professionalism. I went in to retrieve my other rat who was scheduled for surgery and they did not have me take care of payment right then for what services had been performed, instead putting something in the mail for me. They placed my other buddy into my car for me and doctor Albertson had my other buddy delicately wrapped in a towel and in a box that had his name written on it and two hearts. It was the most comforting thing they could have done, given the situation.
I appreciate everything the vets and the always-important support staff Helten have done for me and they will always have ratty patients as long as I have rats.

Dr. Heather and Jason Albertson are wonderful doctors to work with! They put my dog (and myself) at ease the moment we came in. Addie, my corgi, was very comfortable and had a blast at her visit! The doctors are very knowledgeable, take the time to explain everything to you, and go over and beyond when caring for your pet. They treated my dog as their very own. We will definitely be using this as our veterinary clinic from now on!

My goofball Samson ran away from my backyard and within that same minute, he got hit by a car right off of Maize. During my freak out, the wonderful nurses at Helten were very calming and friendly -- they helped me get Samson in the building and got a Doctor to come rushing over. A lot of lacerations and broken bones in his snout with lots of missing teeth. Luckily Samson pulled through and thanks to Dr. Albertson, Samson is all fixed up and comfortably at home resting and even with what happened he is still happy and friendly. Thank you Dr. Albertson and everybody at Helten for saving Samson's life :)

I have gone to Helten Vet for many years now. I have had experience with both Dr. Helten and now Dr.'s Albertson. I can't say enough good things about this clinic! I never feel like they are doing unnecessary procedures with my dog that will end up costing me more money. Dr. Jason and his team are amazing!! He has been taking care of our dogs for years. He has always gone above and beyond to make sure they are well taken care of!! He and his team are friendly and caring!! Love having such a great place to take our fur babies!!!

My goofball Samson ran away from my backyard and within that same minute, he got hit by a car right off of Maize. During my freak out, the wonderful nurses at Helten were very calming and friendly -- they helped me get Samson in the building and got a Doctor to come rushing over. A lot of lacerations and broken bones in his snout with lots of missing teeth. Luckily Samson pulled through and thanks to Dr. Albertson, Samson is all fixed up and comfortably at home resting and even with what happened he is still happy and friendly. Thank you Dr. Albertson and everybody at Helten for saving Samson's life :)
