Nearly thousand dollar UTI! Over 2 visits, the vet ordered so many tests (x-rays, bloodwork, cultures), diagnosed my Yorkie with kidney disease (which worried me unnecessarily), prescribed insanely expensive antibiotics (3 weeks worth!)
...and it was just a urinary tract infection, which she still has!
You're totally at their mercy and agree to just about anything when they approach you in the exam room. They ARE very kind, but I guess you have to be when trying to elicit more money for unnecessary tests!

I've been taking my dogs and cats to Heineke Veterinary for 20 years and have been extremely satisfied. The vets are highly skilled, talented and compassionate. The office staff is awesome.

Got two cats spade here. All of the upfront information plus the follow up was very helpful. They explained everything well and answered all questions. Very family friendly. Cats are both doing very well and had no issues from the procedure. Zero complaints and have told a few people to check you out since we were so happy with our services!

It is hard to find an exotic animal vet to trust, but Dr. Heineke has been taking such wonderful care of our guinea pigs for a couple years now. We’ve went handfuls of times for multiple different illnesses and he always came through for us and our guineas. He saved the life of one of my piggies on a traumatic emergency visit and I’ll always be grateful for it. Thank you for being such a great vet clinic!

When my cat was sick they got in her right away, even as a new animal to their practice. I felt like they took really good care of here, went over all I needed to know in detail and I felt good about when I left. My cat obviously got better and they called to follow up on her!

Dr. Brandon and the staff at Heinke Veterinary Hospital are all very compassionate and caring. I cannot say enough good things about them. I have switched my four dogs over to them. I had one of my dogs at another vet for over a year doctoring for what they called allergies. I then took the dog to Dr. Brandon who within 10 days had cleared it up. He checked in with me after each appointment to make sure my dog was ok or if I had questions.Their customer service is excellent. When you walk into their office they speak to you and also come out and talk to the animal as well. They are glad to see you. This is individual care.Dr. Brandon always takes the time to check the animal thoroughly and listens to you and answers any questions you have.If you are not satisfied with the care your animals are receiving at your vet, I highly recommend calling Heinke Veterinary Hospital for an appointment. You and your pet will be highly satisfied with their care.

I have been taking my cats to Heineke Veterinary Hospital since I moved here in 1991. Dr. Heineke and staff have become like family to me. The compassion they showed when I had to put down one of my 18 year old cats last week was very much appreciated. Thanks for being there for my 'boys.'

Used to be so amazing but sadly things have been going downhill. There is one staff member I believe her name to be Kim who is very rude and needs to learn how to treat animals and people. The other staff members including the new guy are great. Aside from that staff member it seems that while the Dr. does care he has become obsessed with money and is not as genuine as he used to be. I have heard him scream and yell while in the back and worry about what could be going on with my pets of his poor staff. Again he is amazing as a vet but really needs to get back to his roots and not obsess over money, teach certain staff members manners and have her watch her co-workers and learn from them. Finally anger management is a must from what myself and other people have heard while at the office.

Nearly thousand dollar UTI! Over 2 visits, the vet ordered so many tests (x-rays, bloodwork, cultures), diagnosed my Yorkie with kidney disease (which worried me unnecessarily), prescribed insanely expensive antibiotics (3 weeks worth!)

It is hard to find an exotic animal vet to trust, but Dr. Heineke has been taking such wonderful care of our guinea pigs for a couple years now. We’ve went handfuls of times for multiple different illnesses and he always came through for us and our guineas. He saved the life of one of my piggies on a traumatic emergency visit and I’ll always be grateful for it. Thank you for being such a great vet clinic!

Dr.Heineke and his staff are absolutely wonderful. They are all so very friendly, courteous and compassionate to the owners and all of the fur babies they take such great care of. I have been taking my cats to Heineke Veterinary Hospital since I moved here in 1991. Dr. Heineke and staff have become like family to me. The compassion they showed when I had to put down one of my 18 year old cats last week was very much appreciated. Thanks for being there for my 'boys.'

Used to be so amazing but sadly things have been going downhill. There is one staff member I believe her name to be Kim who is very rude and needs to learn how to treat animals and people. The other staff members including the new guy are great. Aside from that staff member it seems that while the Dr. does care he has become obsessed with money and is not as genuine as he used to be. I have heard him scream and yell while in the back and worry about what could be going on with my pets of his poor staff. Again he is amazing as a vet but really needs to get back to his roots and not obsess over money, teach certain staff members manners and have her watch her co-workers and learn from them. Finally anger management is a must from what myself and other people have heard while at the office.
