General Info
Bardstown Veterinary Clinic has been serving the Nelson County community for over 25 years. Dr. Truman Tipton practiced both large and small animal medicine and surgery here until 2004 when he sold the practice to Dr. Seibert.
After completing her education at Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Seibert brought her knowledge back home to Kentucky and worked with Dr. Truman Tipton. Having gained a year's experience, she then moved to Louisville where she worked at Sims Animal Hospital in Fern Creek for three years. While working at Middletown Animal Clinic during the following ten years, Dr. Seibert decided to move back to Bardstown. After a few years of commuting, she realized opening a practice in Bardstown was the most positive career move she could make. After many discussions with Dr. Tipton, who was retiring, Dr. Seibert decided to open Bardstown Veterinary Clinic as her very own
Dr. Seibert is a longtime resident of Bardstown and the Nelson County area. As a 1982 graduate of Bethlehem High School, she attended Elizabethtown Community College where she received an Associates degree. She then moved onto Morehead State University until being accepted to Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated Cum Laude in 1990.
After completing her education at Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Seibert brought her knowledge back home to Kentucky and worked with Dr. Truman Tipton. I had a couple of concerns with another Vet in Bardstown.. A family member highly recommended switching to BVC and I'm so glad I did! I have a lot of respect for Dr. Siebert. She is very well educated and qualified, and she willingly answered all of my questions regarding my puppy. She never makes our appointment feel rushed and she shows genuine concern about how my dog is doing! I will never take my boy anywhere else! The entire staff is very welcoming and my experiences there have been nothing but positive. Definitely one of the best Vet Clinics I have ever been to!

Dr. Siebert has been my vet since I moved to Nelson county over 10 years ago. Her kindness and compassion are unsurpassed and she has a gift for understanding the human logic and emotions connected with non-human children. Great staff who are always friendly and helpful. They even price shopped an expensive prescription for me while I was there. Can't say enough good things. If you need a vet you need to come here.

I've been going here for quite a few years with my two doggies. Both my dogs actually enjoy going to the vet. Everyone is friendly and caring. Recently my senior dog has been going through some sudden issues and Dr. Seibert, even though they were behind schedule, took her time discussing treatments and explaining everything that was going on that she could see. They are awesome, I would definitely recommend them.

We had our very first appointment Monday and I will be a lifelong customer! After having problems with another Bardstown clinic, I was thinking of giving up on a vet here and having to take my boy somewhere else. My parents' vet in hodgenville recommended this clinic and I'm so glad I gave them a shot! All the staff was very welcoming and nice. Even bringing me a towel after coming in from a down pour. We were seen right away! Before treating my dog, they made sure to get down to his level and comfort him. Dr. Seibert listened to my concerns and talked me through them! This was not the case at the other clinic. I will recommend this clinic to everyone! Thank you for all your help.

Took Rainy girl in for worms and they loved up to her even when she was being difficult. I felt like they immediately cared for her as I do. So many clinics in town you either like the staff and not the doctor, or like the doctor and not the staff, but not here. This place is great. Wish I had gone sooner!

She is very well educated and qualified, and she willingly answered all of my questions regarding my puppy. The entire staff is very welcoming and my experiences there have been nothing but positive. Definitely one of the best Vet Clinics I have ever been to!
