I love Silver Creek Animal Hospital!! The staff are so friendly and they make it easier on my cat and I to visit the Dr. My cat is very nervous and shy with strangers and they are very good with him and they make me feel better about leaving him if I have to. My carrier was very dirty because we store it in our barn until it's needed and I didn't have time to clean it before we came for our last visit. The wonderful lady at the front desk offered to clean it for me and she did-she even put a nice pad down in it for him. I sincerely appreciate the kindness and it will never be forgotten. Read Less

My son's dog needed an emergency c section as this was her first litter at 4 years old, and they didn't know she was with pups until a day or so before she was trying to have them, after 24 hours and no puppies the local vet could not see her, Silvercreek got her right in and assessed her quickly and worked through their lunch ( we were there at noon) doing her surgery, gave us excellent discharge instructions and everything we needed to succeed at taking care of Addy and her puppies. The weaker puppy passed a couple hours after we got home,which they said we might expect, but we could hear in the waiting area the work they put in to even revive him. Max was extremely sick after eating pine cones, he had an extended stay to get the care he needed to get better. Although it was sad not having him at home I never questioned the care or treatment he was getting while he was there. Max has been seen at Silver Creek Animal Hospital since his first 8 week check up. I would have recommended the clinic even before his latest mishap, but trust me when I say Dr. Hammons and her staff are second to none!! I took my luekemic cat here after my normal vet suggested I put her down. They were relentless and saved her life. It's almost a year down the road and my cat is doing great. Recently went here with my dachshund puppy to get a better opinion than my normal vet and they treated him wonderful!! This vet REALLY loves animals, and whenever we have had one or both of our cats in for any problems, she has always called us personally at home to let us know the situation, and to check with us before any procedures are done--many won't do that, as is what happened with our old vet. We have taken our pets to this vet for at least 5 or 6 years now, and have had NO complaints. The doctor and staff are all so friendly, helpful, and go out of their way to serve our needs, as well as make our pets feel loved and ease their fears. We highly recommend this vet/animal hospital! I thank God for these people! My furbaby, Hagrid had Parvo and I was one terrified momma. I had to trust them with the life of my baby. They did a wonderful job with Hagrid and was so considerate of my emotions. I felt they understood that he was more than just an animal to me and they cared for him and me accordingly. I consider my pets to be part of my family, so I take finding a vet very seriously. I totally trust the folks at Silver Creek to take good care of my dog. The vets are knowledgeable and have state of the art equipment onsite. They take time to explain and really do care about your pet. Staff is friendly and always seem to be in a good mood. From dearest pets to scraggly strays that needed medical attention, all were well cared for. Scheduling and appointments were always smooth and timely. Went out of her way to let me know my dog was ok after another vet had me scared he was in liver failure. Got an expert to come in and do a US to make sure no abnormalities. I hadn't used Silver Creek as my primary vet because I already had one. I boarded my Lexi with them many times along with a few other things. Not long after my Lexi was hit and killed after someone snuck and let her out of my yard, my elderly neighbor thought she was going to lose her dog and asked me to go with her to Silver Creek. I was discussing Lexi with the lady at the front and shortly after, I received a sympathy card from Silver Creek.
