we took our Dog down there on Tuesday July 19 and picked him up on July 22 and what a Bad experience we had His name is Jaytoe he is a 9 month old German Shepard when we dropped him off we told them he only keeps his choke collar on for leading so make sure you take it off said ok then when we left within the hour called back and reminded them again make sure you take off the choke collar for which they should know being a animal hospital and care facility we have spent a lot of money in the past at this place on Jaytoe thinking he would get good care and we even called on Wednesday and checked on him said everything was fine did not receive any phone calls from them what so ever saying the was having any problems well when we picked him up said got a problem he chewed his collar off not only his regular collar but the Choke collar also that wasn't suppose to be on him begin with i said how can a dog chew off his collar said we didn't know but didn't say much because our Daughter was with us and its her Dog when we got him home his poor feet was raw and chipped tooth and very thirsty < Talked to them act like wasn't there fault i payed them $100 plus 84 for shot gave 70 for choke collar we bought and his regular collar tottal out of pocket of 230.00 for which got a sore dog that was unattended from this time out would not recommend this place to anyone and will not return if any one ask about this place will tell them Hell No!!!Read Less

I've been taking my dogs to paws and claws for years and have always had a fantastic experience. They treated me like family and the boarding is extremely affordable. Even when my Boston terrier became aggressive later in his life they still worked with him to the best of their ability and i was understanding of the situation. Now my mixed pit lab loves it there and even the new employees treat you like you're family. Best vet I've ever been to. Read Less

I have been using Paws and Claws for 10 years and I have always been more than satisfied with them. The staff are knowledgable, friendly, and helpful, and the cost is reasonable. Years ago when Mousse, my lab, had her first seizure they helped us and would call us to check on her. Later, when she had a tumor in her tail, they were there with the same great service. I love Paws and Claws! Dr. Tony took such great care of my dog, Dudley, when he had to have ACL surgery and when he was diagnosed with hip dysplasia. Everytime we come in he loves on him and comments on his progress. He's also been great with my cat and our new puppy. I have never seen a vet that cares so much about the animals he sees. He remembers everything and always wants what's best for them. The staff is always helpful and friendly. MY FEELINGS ARE HURT. I moved to the area 1 1/2 years ago and thought Paws & Claws was the place for me and my dogs. I have a large dog and a small dog who have both been there. My large dog had one bad visit where he barked at the nurses (he had been there previously with no issues) and I am now treated like an outcast. During my last visit, the nurse pushed boarding like a used car salesman. This was offered during his bad behavior visit, yet, when I tried to board my dog a week later I was informed he can never be boarded there because the staff fears him. My dog has never bitten anyone and he only had ONE bad experience there. I really thought this was the place for me but I am saddened to find out that my dog never had a chance with them. They have never even taken the opportunity to try him for a few hours to get him used to them and I have offered to be there to help. There must be a reason why 3 out of 4 of them are holding cats, not dogs, in their profile pics.Read Less

If you consider your pet as family, this is where you need to go for their veterinarian care.  They treated our Minnie since she was 8 weeks old, from routine visits to being spayed.  The staff and Drs are the best and give the best care. Let me tell the main reason why I love Paws and Claws; it was when my sweet Minnie was hit by a car. They tried to save her.  Needless to say, it was devastating to our family especially our young boys. The staff were amazing and very comforting.  They let me say one last goodbye to my sweet girl when she died.  I'll never forget their kindness and sympathy. The staff at Paws and Claws have become part of my family. With three dogs, I am contacting them weekly sometimes, but they are always attentive and willing to accomodate whatever needs we have. Dr. Tony took extreme care to diagnose and treat my terrier when she developed a serious infection, and Lauren patiently taught me how to "nurse" her at home, including force feeding. They never treat me like I am just one more patient. They show concerns for my pet as well as me, taking into account my lifestyle and emotional needs. If you're looking for a friendly and welcoming staff that have a genuine love for each animal that walks through the door, then you have come to the right place! The doctors, husband and wife Tony and Robin Hall have a love for what they do and have always given my pets the best care. The costs are much more reasonable then other local places. This is the only place I've ever been that I genuinely feel welcomed. Myself and my dogs are greeted by name and there is never any waiting. I've been here several times with our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy (and once for a vaccination for our Lab). The positive that hits you right away is a really friendly staff who seem to really care about the animals and no waiting. Appointments can be scheduled quickly, over the phone or via secure email on their on line 'pet portal'. I like the Pet Portal feature as it tracks meds, appts., but the functionality could certainly be improved as well. There are 2 vets here--a husband and wife team--Drs. Tony and Robin Hall. I have a personal preference for Tony, maybe because he helped us through our puppy's persistent illness successfully and seems knowledgeable and caring. The only real negative I have for this place is that it is more expensive than my old vet, so especially if repeat visits are required, it can really add up. But, for me, it's worth it for less hassle and a more caring and thorough staff. Read Less

I have been taking my pets here for 2 years now. I trust everything they do because they explain things to me very clearly. They can usually get me in whenever its needed and i have not had to wait longer than 2-3 minutes on anyone.
