If I could give a negative infinity, I would, they don't even deserve a 1 star. I was told my fur baby had CHF (congestive heart failure) from this "vets" office. I have been told by other vets that he does not. I had to slowly take him off the heart medicine that he should not have gotten anyways. This vet's office is a fraud and gives fur babies medication to cause long-term harm so that they can make money. I am so glad that a real veterinarian was able to diagnose him and take him off the heart medication in time before it caused too much damage and harm to my baby. MY BABY HAD PANCREATITIS NOT FREAKEN CHF, LEARN HOW TO DO YOUR JOB, YOU COULD HAVE KILLED HIM FOR NO REASON.
Todd County Animal Clinic in Elkton, Kentucky responded back on 9/22/2023 saying, "Francis, I'm sorry you've had this experience. Our records show that we haven't seen you since this past April. There's a lot that can change in that time. We strive to field a good team of vets; calling us a fraud is pretty personal. People make mistakes, and we are glad you received the care you needed elsewhere. We are sorry for any inconvenience and we will be glad to discuss this issue further with you if you want. Just call the office if you want to discuss. Please remember that our staff is made of people and people can error, even veterinarians. It looks like you could have discussed the case with us and helped us learn and improve from a potential mistake instead being so malicious on this public forum."
I updated my response to their response on 9/22/2023:
Because of the false diagnosis of my baby. I went into a deep depression and to find out that the diagnosis that this office gave was not true was very shocking, that's why it took so long to make a review about the carelessness of that particular so called "vet". I was happy that a real veterinarian was able to take him off these heart pills that he didn't even need, which was shortly after. I drove over 12 hours to the real veterinarian on April 26, 2023, two days after the crap diagnosis of this office. I even asked the so-called vet to check for pancreatitis because my fur baby has a history of it, which was not done. I have the medical record as proof on April 24, 2023, when I was at this office. I was so depressed because I trusted this office to do their job and instead this "vets" office did not do the job. People make mistakes, but that is a huge misdiagnosis and inexcusable. Obviously, the vet that misdiagnosed my baby needs to have better education and learn how to do their job better instead of putting someone's loved one's health in risk of long-term pills and illness. If my fur baby was a human being, you would have lost your degree and been sued. Beware of this vet's office. I could care less about your ego about my public forum because not only did you put my fur baby's life in risk, but you also made me so depressed that I was barely functional for months.
Furthermore, Todd County Animal Clinc in Elkton, KY tried to turn the blame back on me, they stated"...It looks like you could have discussed the case with us and helped us learn and improve from a potential mistake instead being so malicious on this public forum."
What a cowardly way to not take responsibility for their malpractice (misdiagnosis) and to set blame on the paying customer that only wanted to get treatment for their sick fur baby.
Also, when I tried to look at the review that I made on my other phones, the review does not show. It seems that they hide the worst reviews so that others cannot see it. They are definitely not a 4.8 star, very dishonest. Read Less
