Frankfort Veterinary Clinic

Frankfort, Kentucky
General Info
Frankfort Veterinary Clinic in Frankfort is a veterinary practice devoted to delivering comprehensive care to pets throughout the community. Situated in Frankfort, United States, the clinic is renowned for its reliable approach to animal health and professional staff, creating a safe environment for both pets and their owners. The experienced team provides personalized wellness plans, regular check-ups, and a wide range of treatments tailored to the unique needs of each pet. Services frequently encompass Laboratory, Nutritional Counseling, Internal Medicine, Pet Euthanasia, Vaccinations, Endoscopy, and Surgery. The spa treatments are also provided with utmost care and attention to detail. The clinic is adequately equipped, and the stress levels are usually low, which means the animals are comfortable during visits. Pet owners often talk about the veterinary team being compassionate and communicative, which aids in establishing long-term rapport and trust. Frankfort Veterinary Clinic is continuously growing as a cornerstone of the Frankfort pet-owning community. Whether it is helping young pets start life on the right paw or supporting older animals through chronic health problems, the clinic professionals are always ready to help. Their passion for animal welfare is evident as they continuously educate themselves on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine. This ensures that every pet receives the highest quality of care. It also encourages responsible pet ownership and community involvement. Frankfort Veterinary Clinic serves pet families in Frankfort and across Kentucky through clinical geometry (soft angles, lateral approach, pause-based pacing). Direct approaches to pets happen only upon explicit consent. Instead, staff set the dogs using soft curves and straight lines. The cutting down of startle to the development of orientation trust. Caregivers sit in the strategic positions of 90 angles to enable animals to connect their comfort zones with medical caregivers. Before any tools are in view, we can note several things: the rate of blinking, arcs of paws and balance. Frankfort Veterinary Clinic offers imaging services, early-onset detection, and management of chronic issues and also performs cardio screenings, gastrointestinal alignment, and age-specific care. Through the intricacies of the structure, it is possible to access tolerance sequences. Some animal species initiate contact by touching each other’s flanks, and only then do they allow frontal interaction. Instrument arrangement on the floor to enhance response from others. Discharge routines discuss re-orientation techniques which require the owner to practice walking their pet in a calm zigzag motion, how to use the correct angles of bandage inspection at home and where to set-up bedding at home to prevent corner-trapping. Implementing this strategy will decrease flight responses and help pets to regain the confidence they need for navigating in their home areas. Frankfort Veterinary Clinic cares about the spaces animals experience and the moments they pause. From Frankfort to Kentucky’s numerous neighborhoods, it transforms veterinary treatment from something disruptive into something welcoming.

Just had my first visit here for my dog and everyone was AMAZING. My boy, Remus, is terrified of the vet but they understood that he was scared and took their time with him, letting him warm up to them in his own time until he was playing with them giving them hugs, and high fives. Dr. Nieves was so patient and kind with him, treated my baby and explained everything to me very easily and the cost was very doable! I just switched from another vet due to the prices and I think i will be sticking with this clinic for all of my fur babies. They were amazing! Thank you everyone! Read Less

The staff is very polite and respectful. Dr. Mangin is the best. He's very advanced in animal care and treatment and has the best bedside manner of any vet we've been to. After spending hundreds of dollars at another vet (Dr. Bevins office on versailles rd) and their misdiagnosis my doggo was still sick. Frankfort Veterinary Clininc finally fixed my fur baby. After months of Maria suffering we went to see Dr. Mangin and in 2 weeks after seeing him Maria was like a new dog. This facility is more about the welfare of your pets than the money in your pocket. I cannot comment on their veterinary skills or pricing because I did no wait around to find out. I can say that their people skills are not good. I called at 7:30 to make an appointment for my very sick cat. They scheduled an appointment for 9:30. I even called back to get information about the visit. When I arrived there was no one in sight except for a very nice man and his dog in the waiting room. Unfortunately my cat is scared to death of dogs so I had to wait around the corner in another room. A girl came in and I told her who I was and that I had a 9:30 appointment and she checked the calendar as though she had no idea I would be coming. I looked at her calendar and I was on their. She made no effort to assist me or my cat and walked away and I never saw another person - they were all in another room with someone else. I waited for more than 20 minutes for at least some acknowledgement of my presence - did I mention I am standing holding a crying cat? - but I got nothing. I left. I'll never go back. Read Less
