If i could give them ZERO or negative stars i would i dont recommend you take your pet to these monsters if you value your pets life….i took my sick puppy here trying to get her treatment after waiting for 2+ hours and being told i would have to make a deposit for them to start treatment as my puppy laid dieing on bench in the exam room then when the greedy monsters finally got there money they took my dog back just to call me 30 min later to tell me my dog had passed away if they would have just taken my dog back when i had gotten there and started treatment i would have my dog here with me today but to make matters worse when i went into the office the next day to speak to someone about all of this one of the admin people informed me that there was no deposit needed for them to start the procedure on my dog which proves to me they are all about greed not helping animals or the care of animals this place is a disgrace to every meaning of the word due to there negleance and greed it cost the life of my dog who was also being trained to be my emotional/ptsd support animal these monsters are all about greed not helping pets or owners

I brought my dog here after a friend recommended them and while they were always very nice and easy to reach, they misdiagnosed him pretty significantly. After months of x-rays, rest, chiro, acupuncture and the like, I took him to the veterinary hospital at OSU for a neurological exam, at which point they correctly diagnosed him as having a ruptured cruciate (which I had asked explicitly about twice before and was reassured both times that it couldn't be). At that point, the damage was bad enough that he needed the TPLO and has a higher risk than normal for tearing the other leg. I don't necessarily hold the diagnosis against them because I know medicine can be an inexact science at the best of times and he may have needed the surgery regardless, but I'm a bit disappointed they didn't give more consideration to the correct diagnosis, especially given how common the injury is in labs. Overall, it meant hundreds of dollars in unnecessary visits and treatments for me (not easy on a college student budget) and months of pain for him (a far bigger deal to me). They are nice and I think they genuinely care about the animals they treat, but I won't be returning.

First one an older dog, completely neglected after brought in w renal failure, she "forgot" to administer the fluids in his iv, telling me he was fine on the phone..i went to see him without notifying her..he was lying in a cage cold and hard as a rock..couldnt move..he had to be euthanized within 30 min after I arrived. $500. Took my other dog to Dr Weakley after hours, to remove his spleen..told Kirkland on phone I didn't want her to touch him..after the way she treated my other dog previously..she was on call and called weakley in. Surgery went fine, Kirkland shows up at the clinic at 2am-7 hours after surgery and injected my dog with what nobody knows because she was alone and calls Weakley at 230am and said my dog had died..said he seemed to have trouble breathing and she injected him w adrenaline. I told this person NOT to touch my dog..yet she shows up at 2am and injects him w something and he dies? Almost $1300 charged..but mysteriously no adrenaline injections were on the detailed bill. I know she killed my dog on purpose..mad because I offended her earlier because I didn't want her to treat my dog. Dr Weakley and Dr Tristch and Dr Bollinger are great, but I will never go back because of this person that intentionally neglected 1 old dog and intentionally killed the other

Before I started using this clinic, we had an old Bassett Beatle mix who was ready to go on. The day came when he couldn't stand. We couldn't pick him up for the pain. The vet he normally went to refused to come to our home to ease him out of this life. I called CKVC, they said they could have a vet out to us in half an hour. And they did. The vet was so very compassionate. From then, I switched and my other babies go to Central KY. Yeah, they have one woman in the front who is very rude, but the experiences there overall far outweigh the one woman who always seems to be having a horrid day.

Being new to being fur parents, it's a little overwhelming the amount of vets there are between Lexington & Georgetown. I just wanted to take our girl to the right one. After consulting one of my dearest friends, this was one of the places she recommended. Being less than a a 5 minute drive from the house didn't hurt either. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The facility is incredibly clean. Our first visit within 10 days from getting her from LHS, Dr. Kirkland was her vet and she was not only helpful be very thorough with any and all questions I had. Our follow up visit today was just as delightful (she has a follow up booster shot). They are open after 5pm by appointment and on the weekends. I definitely feel as though they have been the best choice for us.

Excellent vet care, great techs, but extremely rude, brash and unprofessional woman in accounts receivable. Cannot recommend overall positive experience with the extremely rude woman they have on staff who loudly and forcefully talks to customers in a horrible way. We may be back, or may not. That nasty woman needs to go work in a jail or something; she'd be right at home. You can't have someone who talks like that to people in a vet clinic or anywhere else where customer service is key. This clown has no ability to filter what she says, and obviously doesn't care.

She isn't aggressive she was just scared to death. I also had to pay extra for medicine I wasn't even notified about. Dr Bollinger was very rude and inconsiderate. Won't be taking our animals there again.

I wrote a post last night out of a sense of feeling lost. Someone from the clinic was quick to respond and I feel that shows how much they do care and address concerns. They suggested calling, which I have done, but I think I didn't give enough info to the tech and ask enough questions when I did not understand. I just like the fact that they still care as they always have in the past! I have had several dogs treated here and the service and care have always been great. I recommend them regularly to people as an excellent vet clinic.

What can I say I left a rude review last night concerning our dog eating raisins well the vet on call said it wouldn't harm her and woke up to a message from the office manger the vet actually took time out of his of his busy morning to clear the air with us and told us he was in the the wrong and I was amazed with the effort that this vet did to clear the air, he asked about our dog and if she was doing better and I just can't thank them enough for doing what they done this morning.

I love this vet. We have been taking our 2 rottweilers there for years. Dr. Fuller is by far the best vet out here in this area.

Very rude doctors. They talk down to you like your an idiot. Not my first run in with this vet. When my dog was pregnant back in June, I called to get an Ultrasound and they were rude to me because I didn't "come to them" to get her pregnant. Went to them again for my cat who was sick and was charged over $300 . Went to them again today for an emergency and had the vet get angry with me because I contradicted his statement on a medication when I know it works, left the room in a huff. Had another Vet come into the room and immediately jumped my case instead of trying to defuse the situation. They are overrated and overpriced. Unless they pay their overpriced fee's and commit to their expensive, non needed BS then they are rude to you. Will never use again.

Great staff and affordable. We are newer to Lexington so we haven't established a vet yet- when one of our cats got sick Central Kentucky Vet came highly recommended. They took us in same day which was great- they have extended hours that are perfect to accommodate work/school schedules. Our cat didn't have anything major and they didn't take an opportunity to run us through a ton of expensive diagnostics. We will be scheduling our other 3 animals soon for wellness exams, we are very happy first time customers!

The principal vets, Scott Weakley and Scott Trisch are the most ethical professionals I know.Over the past 8 years, we have used them for all types of needs. From cleaning the ears of our puppies to euthanizing our long time pet; compassionate, cost effective, and professional service was always received. They are thorough and are never looking to advance their billings. They often provide options that are cheaper.Leave the big city and go to vets that follow the golden rule.

If i could give them ZERO or negative stars i would i dont recommend you take your pet to these monsters if you value your pets life….i took my sick puppy here trying to get her treatment after waiting for 2+ hours and being told i would have to make a deposit for them to start treatment as my puppy laid dieing on bench in the exam room then when the greedy monsters finally got there money they took my dog back just to call me 30 min later to tell me my dog had passed away if they would have just taken my dog back when i had gotten there and started treatment i would have my dog here with me today but to make matters worse when i went into the office the next day to speak to someone about all of this one of the admin people informed me that there was no deposit needed for them to start the procedure on my dog which proves to me they are all about greed not helping animals or the care of animals this place is a disgrace to every meaning of the word due to there negleance and greed it cost the life of my dog who was also being trained to be my emotional/ptsd support animal these monsters are all about greed not helping pets or owners

I brought my dog here after a friend recommended them and while they were always very nice and easy to reach, they misdiagnosed him pretty significantly. After months of x-rays, rest, chiro, acupuncture and the like, I took him to the veterinary hospital at OSU for a neurological exam, at which point they correctly diagnosed him as having a ruptured cruciate (which I had asked explicitly about twice before and was reassured both times that it couldn't be). At that point, the damage was bad enough that he needed the TPLO and has a higher risk than normal for tearing the other leg. I don't necessarily hold the diagnosis against them because I know medicine can be an inexact science at the best of times and he may have needed the surgery regardless, but I'm a bit disappointed they didn't give more consideration to the correct diagnosis, especially given how common the injury is in labs. Overall, it meant hundreds of dollars in unnecessary visits and treatments for me (not easy on a college student budget) and months of pain for him (a far bigger deal to me). They are nice and I think they genuinely care about the animals they treat, but I won't be returning.

First one an older dog, completely neglected after brought in w renal failure, she "forgot" to administer the fluids in his iv, telling me he was fine on the phone..i went to see him without notifying her..he was lying in a cage cold and hard as a rock..couldnt move..he had to be euthanized within 30 min after I arrived. $500. Took my other dog to Dr Weakley after hours, to remove his spleen..told Kirkland on phone I didn't want her to touch him..after the way she treated my other dog previously..she was on call and called weakley in. Surgery went fine, Kirkland shows up at the clinic at 2am-7 hours after surgery and injected my dog with what nobody knows because she was alone and calls Weakley at 230am and said my dog had died..said he seemed to have trouble breathing and she injected him w adrenaline. I told this person NOT to touch my dog..yet she shows up at 2am and injects him w something and he dies? Almost $1300 charged..but mysteriously no adrenaline injections were on the detailed bill. I know she killed my dog on purpose..mad because I offended her earlier because I didn't want her to treat my dog. Dr Weakley and Dr Tristch and Dr Bollinger are great, but I will never go back because of this person that intentionally neglected 1 old dog and intentionally killed the other

Before I started using this clinic, we had an old Bassett Beatle mix who was ready to go on. The day came when he couldn't stand. We couldn't pick him up for the pain. The vet he normally went to refused to come to our home to ease him out of this life. I called CKVC, they said they could have a vet out to us in half an hour. And they did. The vet was so very compassionate. From then, I switched and my other babies go to Central KY. Yeah, they have one woman in the front who is very rude, but the experiences there overall far outweigh the one woman who always seems to be having a horrid day.

Being new to being fur parents, it's a little overwhelming the amount of vets there are between Lexington & Georgetown. I just wanted to take our girl to the right one. After consulting one of my dearest friends, this was one of the places she recommended. Being less than a a 5 minute drive from the house didn't hurt either. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The facility is incredibly clean. Our first visit within 10 days from getting her from LHS, Dr. Kirkland was her vet and she was not only helpful be very thorough with any and all questions I had. Our follow up visit today was just as delightful (she has a follow up booster shot). They are open after 5pm by appointment and on the weekends. I definitely feel as though they have been the best choice for us.

Cannot recommend overall positive experience with the extremely rude woman they have on staff who loudly and forcefully talks to customers in a horrible way. We may be back, or may not. That nasty woman needs to go work in a jail or something; she'd be right at home. You can't have someone who talks like that to people in a vet clinic or anywhere else where customer service is key. This clown has no ability to filter what she says, and obviously doesn't care.

She isn't aggressive she was just scared to death. I also had to pay extra for medicine I wasn't even notified about. Dr Bollinger was very rude and inconsiderate. Won't be taking our animals there again.

I wrote a post last night out of a sense of feeling lost. Someone from the clinic was quick to respond and I feel that shows how much they do care and address concerns. They suggested calling, which I have done, but I think I didn't give enough info to the tech and ask enough questions when I did not understand. I just like the fact that they still care as they always have in the past! I have had several dogs treated here and the service and care have always been great. I recommend them regularly to people as an excellent vet clinic.

Very rude doctors. They talk down to you like your an idiot. Not my first run in with this vet. When my dog was pregnant back in June, I called to get an Ultrasound and they were rude to me because I didn't "come to them" to get her pregnant. Went to them again for my cat who was sick and was charged over $300 . Went to them again today for an emergency and had the vet get angry with me because I contradicted his statement on a medication when I know it works, left the room in a huff. Had another Vet come into the room and immediately jumped my case instead of trying to defuse the situation. They are overrated and overpriced. Unless they pay their overpriced fee's and commit to their expensive, non needed BS then they are rude to you. Will never use again.

Great staff and affordable. We are newer to Lexington so we haven't established a vet yet- when one of our cats got sick Central Kentucky Vet came highly recommended. They took us in same day which was great- they have extended hours that are perfect to accommodate work/school schedules. Our cat didn't have anything major and they didn't take an opportunity to run us through a ton of expensive diagnostics. We will be scheduling our other 3 animals soon for wellness exams, we are very happy first time customers!
