I love these people! They are so patient and kind. My first visit to Dr. Hines was several years ago when we came home very late one night and found our cat, Cinnamon had been hit by a car. He met at the clinic at midnight, looked her over and said he could save her. And he did! Broken jaw, broken leg but we had our sweet girl for many more years because he took such good care of her. My dog blue was a English better that was a stray. We took him in, cared for him, and loved him very, very much. He was having ear infection and his eyes didn't look right, Dr. Hines checked him out thoroughly, he told us he was about 15 or 16 yrs. old, he also had cataracts(eyes) and an ear infection. He took his time, gave attention to blue(made him feel comfortable), and didn't rush us. Soon after a few weeks, blue pasted away. Dr. Hines thank you. Read Less

I took my collie here to get a second opinion because my primary vet couldn't seem to figure out what the problem was. Zoe had been scratching like crazy & losing quite a bit of hair on her belly & rear. Dr. Hines examined her thouroughly, asked questions & gave advice. He was in no rush to get us in & out quickly and then charge us a hefty bill for a few short minutes. After examining her & testing her for mange (negative) he still couldn't quite determine what Zoe's problem was. He didn't stop there though- he sent us home with a special shampoo, pills for hypothyroidism, and a prescription of Trifexis so we could see how she responded with each.. After a couple weeks had passed & through process of elimination, we found out that Zoe was allergic to flea bites & that the Trifexis did the trick perfectly. The office even called back a couple times to check on her progress. Great people!!!! Read Less
