I looked into many vets around boone county. I had an emergency for my dog and it was Saturday and was able to get her in immediately. They are very professional and kind to the animals. Very caring Doctors and Staff. My dog is 13+ yrs and started when we got him at 4 months old, he’s a miniature schnauzer rescue. They have always taken excellent care of our baby. We moved from the Hebron area about 30 minutes away and changed vets( because there was one closer, thinking it would be more convenient),only to return within the year, choosing to make the drive because it was worth it. I have been taking my 2 dogs to Hebron Animal Hospital for over 10 years. I can't say enough good things about Dr Lloyd, Dr Hale, and the entire staff. Dr. Hale has always taken good care of my fur babies over the years. He is great with my pups and takes time to explain things completely and clearly to me. My dogs are number one when they visit. Recently my dog Bella got very sick and her prognosis was bleak. Dr Lloyd took his time to lay everything out clearly for me and answer all of my questions. He called me frequently with updates. Just moved back into the area and have Chop back on as a patient here. The staff & Docs have ALWAYS been nothing but loving to him. He is very comfortable here, and actually gets excited when we pull up....because he knows he's about to get lovins from a lot of people. That's comforting to us as well. It's far better than him being scared and uncomfortable. We have seen that in the past at other Vets. I am so thankful to have moved back into the area and was able to get him back in the care of this team. We had him back in today for the 1st time since mid 2013. He has a new Doc, Brittany. She was super awesome with him from the get go. He was so comfortable with her. That means everything to us. The ladies out front and the entire staff always make him feel safe and loved. We've been taking our animals there for 10 years. We've never had a complaint, and have had great service from Dr. Dell and Dr. Hale. We've also found their prices reasonable compared to other vets in the area.Read Less

This hospital has shown a great concern for my animals, and helped us uncover quite a few things about our pets that we should be aware of. With that said, we are at a time where my dogs needed to be spayed and neutered and I've never had to be concerned with price as they are always more than fair. So I take my pet in for a rather stressful surgery, wait the standard timeframe before pickup, only to come back to a bill reaching almost 500$. I was asked to pay almost 500$, to have probably the most common procedure completed outside of clipping nails. Sure, I should have asked for a quote, but I cannot fathom any scenario where I would pay almost 1,000$ to have two pets cared for. Of course, in raising a red flag, we noticed a double charge, & with the nail clippings added, it came closer to 400$. Who in their right mind would willingly pay 400$, when I can have this procedure completed for almost 1/4 of the price. I'm dissapointed & will take my other dog elsewhere for this procedure. With a heavy heart we writing this... We lost our dog to an unexpected situation... He went in for a routine teeth cleaning.. And his heart gave out... We have always felt like family when we brought Deuce in for check ups or when he was feeling ill... We always got great service... The staff was always friendly.. And the doctor was always kind... When we lost our dog.. They truly came through for us... They made a footprint for us to keep, they waive all charges, and after a while they send a consoling card with everybody signature... We have been going to Hebron Animal Hospital for more years than I'd like to count, and we've always had wonderful experiences with our fur babies there. We have a dog and 2 cats and they have never been anything but fantastic! This trip we took our cat, Maxi, in to be shaved. He has extremely long fur and it was so matted because he won't let anyone brush him unless you don't mind losing a finger! Dr. Buetel did a beautiful job on him. He's ginger so he really looks like a lion. She left some fur on his lower legs and it looks like he has on boots. It is precious. Thank you also to Donna for setting everything up for us to get him shaved. I highly recommend any of the vets there. Our kids even take their pets there now that they live in the area again. I recently had to put my beloved cat Sweet Pea to "sleep". The vet and staff were. compassionate and patient. I've taken many animals there over the years and I trust them to accurately find out what's wrong without ordering unnecessary tests. They take their time explaining things in terms I understand. Our neighbor had a dog with aggression problems. The neighbor said it was a non- spayed Boxer-Pitbull mix and the fence was less than 2 foot high. The dog could easily jump over the fence as have many smaller dogs that lived there had done.. It was scary as Dr. Lloyd also said the dog did not act aggressively or was a Pitbull mix to the Police. I tried to talk to Dr. Lloyd but he said he would sue me and bring me to court. The next day the Boxer-Pitbull mix jumped over the fence and tried to attack me, I believe Dr. Lloyd was wrong and the dog is a Pitbull mix and still aggressive and dangerous and could be nearby. Beware of Dr, Lloyd evaluating Pitbulls without getting the facts for you may be a victim of a near attack (Miracle I Lived) Read Less

I hate this place! All they care about is money, There prices are outrageous and they need to go back to school. I took my animal there for a skin problem, they kept INSISTING it was a flea allergy....Finally took her some where else it was a food allergy so she suffered much longer than she should have. All that had to do was a simple skin scrape but instead the just kept forcing the meds. Very bad Read Less

I used a different vet for years and when my dog got sick, they were too busy to see me. I called Hebron Animal Hospital and they worked me in that day. I transferred my records immediately; you need a vet is when your dog is sick not when it is convenient for the vet.September 17, 2008 we had to have our beloved dog of 16 years put to sleep. The vet was so caring and sympathetic. Would not charge us for the visit and the whole staff felt our pain. We even received a sympathy card in which they all signed, which was so sweet. We did feel as if we had lost part of our family and still miss her.When I get another pet, I will use the Hebron Animal Hospital and recommend it to anyone. Read Less
