Skyline Animal Clinic offers veterinary services in Hopkinsville, where pets age and change alongside their owners’ homes and whose behavior-related questions Kentucky pet owners seek answers. It is usually initial concerns – the dog is scratching a lot, not playing as much or refusing food. He seems stiff when he gets up after lying in his basket or is picketed on by the other cats in the household – that prompts owners to seek veterinary advice. A comprehensive health screening evaluates body weight together with dental check-ups while examining joint flexibility and assessing respiratory function alongside heart rhythm before appraising skin conditions and coat health as well as discussing behavioral patterns. Baseline records are reference points for veterinarians’ input analysis on how to schedule diagnostics, diet upgrades, and appointments. Skyline Animal Clinic provides a wide array of services such as vaccines, stool and blood testing for animals’ health status, nutritional support and oral health management as well as chronic diseases or seasonal care adjustments. Weather changes, new routines, daycare prep, senior slowdown/recovery milestones catch-up. Every plan, as a response to architectural layout and environmental conditions, provides families with appropriate level of support in actual living situations. Each visit results in detailed notes being sent to the owner, along with scheduling recommendations and care tips. Furthermore, a log book is available for owners who want to track their pets’ food intake, mood changes or physical activity. Pet owners with multiple pets or elderly animals would like to have staggered check-ins, home-based follow-ups and mobile adjustments. Skyline Animal Clinic empowers Hopkinsville pet owners, as well as those in surrounding Kentucky areas, to take early steps and maintain wellness routines that fit their lifestyle.

I went there for my cats shots, big mistake. After his shots he went into my closet and stayed for half the day, finally coming out later to get water and use the litterbox. The next day he threw up anything that he consumed, this progressed for a few more days, until we found him barely moving hovering his head over his water bowl. We brought him back there. Took them about 1 hour to take him in the back, the nurse was petting him and speaking to us about him. Then as he is literally in the worst shape I've ever seen him in his life, the nurse asks if he has a flea guard plan. Finally, they take him in the back, have him for about 3 days, until we get a call that he will need to be put down... apparently he had cancer in his stomach and spread so much that he would die no matter what. But I don't think that's the case as weeks before he showed no signs of cancer, he played and acted like a normal cat until he had a leukemia and some other weird shot. He was only 3 years old. And helped me cope through alot of things going on in my life. Now we have to pay around $1,100 plus the shots that killed him. Never again will I come back here. Read Less

Absolute worst clinic I've ever dealt with. I had been a customer since 2007- I bought a friends barn cat in for emergency tx. They told me $300 to save it or $150 to put down. So we told them to save it- and $800 later I had a new cat. Before that I rescued a pound kitten when my husband was deployed over Christmas- it became ill from the vaccinations it received there. When it became ill I took it back to them for emergency treatment and it died. They not only charged me the vaccinations, they also charged me hundred dollars of emergency treatment following the vaccinations, and then a body disposal fee. I paid everything, never arguing or expecting a break even though I felt in my heart that they were responsible for the illness that caused its death. The last straw was when I purchased horse vaccines before I left the state for school- with cash. Two years later, I came back and used them again --- and their accounting still showed I owed $ from the two years previously. So I explained to them to check their accounting, that clearly it was a mistake-- I gave the name of who I gave the cash to. Instead of giving me any credibility, or working out anything with me-- they sent me to collections! The manager then sent me a horrible letter saying what a awful client I was, that I paid late all the time, and a lot of other "jazz" which was not only completely unprofessional, it was plain untrue. They will never get our money again. I will also continue to warn people to take their pets elsewhere. Cadiz Vet and Cornerstone Vet Clinic are both lovely vet clinics within the area for large/small animals and they cost 1/3 the price this worthless place does.Read Less

Our cat was apparently poisoned. I called the emergency number at 11:00 on a Sunday night and woke Dr. Daugherty up. Even so, he was thorough in his questioning and said he'd come in to see our cat if we wanted him to. I met him about 20 minutes later. He did an exam and offered a friendly but frank diagnosis for our cat Bob. We decided to treat him that night and make a final decision after blood work the next morning. Unfortunately, Bob was too far gone to be saved. The staff was VERY understanding of our emotional state of having to put our beloved friend to sleep and treated us and Bob with the utmost respect. I can't thank the staff enough, and especially Dr. Daugherty, for the exceptional service, caring and understanding they provided during this terrible ordeal.

Read Less
