The staff are always so nice! I’ve had very bad experiences at other places so I’m nervous to take my fur baby here, but they are always so welcoming and I feel like they actually care about Buddy! I like how they have the same staff every time! It’s nice to see a familiar face every time I go in! I used to take all of my pets to LaGrange Animal Hospital, which was a big mistake. One of my cats was sick for almost a year and they kept assuring me that her tests were fine and she was just stressed. Lately she was more sick than usual and I was fed up. I literally walked in and explained the situation and asked if they could see her right then. They were kind, understanding and found time for us. He looks at the whole well-being of each of his patients, including their emotional and behavioral well-being. I moved to the La Grange area this summer and brought my dog up here first to board with Countryside while we moved. Besides the shock to the dog of a new environment I found this Vet's office to be extremely caring to our dog and friendly towards us , so I have used them more than a couple of times since for family and business trips we have gone on. Before at the other boarding places the dog would seem sad beforehand, knowing what was to happen. Now the dog seems sorta happy to go, so to me that is the mark of a good vet. The prices are affordable, and less than was in Nashville. The price of the bath sorta initially scared me off though , but when you see what they do and they clip the nails ( which keeps my floors nicer) and they do more than just dip like other vets do it works out to be extremely affordable. The back yard where the seem to let them play looks pleasant and is spacious enough for them to exercise which might contribute to my dog's happiness there. So the dog is happy , we are happy with this Vet's office and will use them for all our dog's needs. Read Less

If your dog ever has an ear infection, I highly recommend having the Countryside Animal Hospital folks use the "pack" to treat it. Our beagle, Annabelle, had an ear infection a few years ago and we treated it at home with drops and regular cleanings with Q-tips -- not Annabelle's favorite thing and not ours, either. This year, Annabelle got another ear infection and Dr. Rainey recommended the pack - which means the medicine was inserted ("packed") in her ears at Dr. Rainey's office. The medicine did its job and we didn't have to deal with messy drops and Annabelle didn't have to put up with the Q-tip cleanings. It was great! I first met the staff on the court house lawn 3 years ago. I quickly signed my pets up to be regular patients of Dr Rainey and have never looked back. They are always available at a moments noticed.
