We have been bring our dogs here for over 30 years and always have had great experiences and results from all the Vets and wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. They take their time to check and examine and ask their questions to fully understand your concern and the health of your pet and afterwards, they fully explain the treatment or regime to follow. When my fuzzball got older and was in need of a real check up, and later diabetes, they helped me with her health needs and had plenty of good advice for us. Helped me make the best of her last three years. I'm kind of a large, bearded, and crazy looking person but they never judged, just open arms, minds, and hearts. They could see I really loved my cat. Both the vets and the people up front have been awesome. The medical care received was top notch and accurate. Prices fair. Nice facilities. Couldn't be more satisfied, THANKS!! Read Less

Very wonderful clinic! Very knowledgeable veterinarians . Very, very affordable. Very caring and they are very sincerely wonderful with your pets. They are very genuine and truly do care more about your Pet the the cost of the visit. I live in Phoenix and was just passing through when we accidentally found this clinic. So happy we did! They absolutely saved my dogs life. If you are looking for a good place to bring your beloved pet, don't hesitate. They will be well cared for here! Dr Vice and Dr Nolte are great with both cats and dogs, you can tell he genuinely cares about the animals. Have never waited longer than 10 minutes to get a room and the vet is usually there within 5. Diagnosis have always been right and he explains things thoroughly. Seems pretty silly to blame a vet because an animal had a bad reaction to anesthesia. My entire family has brought our pets here for vet care. Read Less

I would not hesitate to bring my pets here.  My pooch, Larry, who is older and suffering from some dementia, along with other ailments, was howling day and night.  We tried everything with other vets.  It had gotten to the point that we were actually wondering if it was time to let him go.  Dr. Howe put him on Trazadone.  We now have our life back, and Larry's life is exceedingly better too.  The meds really helps his anxiety.  I went to the other vet, Dr. Nolty, when Dr. Howe was unavailable, and he is a very nice professional, too. Our Furbaby Max has been to this vet a couple of times. They were able to take care of him after having to take him to ER vet for urinary block and did a great job with him, They also worked with us after discovering he had blocked again within 2 days after the first ER visit. We have been coming to Dr. Vice at Gainesway since we got our 1st German Shepherd in 2004. We have been through multiple surgeries and the staff at Gainesway has been outstanding has been outstanding even in the most difficult of situations. When we lost one our Shepherds suddenly to cancer last year, Dr. Vice sent us  a very kind letter and it meant a lot to us that he'd take the time to that.We have always been able to get in to see one of the vets on short notice even if ours isn't available. They also have Saturday hours which is very convenient for people who work Mon-Fri.It can be difficult to try and turn in off of Armstrong Mill Rd. so if possible, I try and turn right off of Appian Way into Armstrong so that it's a right turn into the office parking lot. If you're looking for a new doc to take care of your pet, this is the place.  We came here from out of town, with a very very sick cat, and were not regulars.  The entire staff treated our cat as if he had been their patient for years.  Dr. McCord quickly diagnosed what he thought was wrong - not what the cat had been ill with, but with end-of life kidney failure. He recommended a test to be sure, and came back with the affirmative but sad diagnosis.  I had brought our family pet to my daughter over the holidays since my vet at home had told me he had very limited time left to live and I wanted my daughter to be reunited with her cat before the inevitable.  She had exactly two days with him before we took him back to the vet to say our goodbyes.  They treated us and the cat with total compassion and he went to sleep peacefully in my daughter's arms, no suffering. This morning I took my cat, Marley in for her yearly shots.  I scheduled  the appointment for 8.  I was in right when they opened the door at 8, and after the shots out the door at 8:10!  I was thankful that we didn't have to wait long, because Marley was VERY UPSET to be in her carrier!Marley's vet is Dr. Nolty.  He is a great veterinarian; always gentle with her, talks softly to her, pets, and generally does an incredible job of calming her down.  He even put her back in her carrier after he was done giving her the shots!  I get stressed taking Marley to the vet, due to the amount of meowing she does on the way there, so it's very reassuring to have a doctor that obviously cares about his furry patients. Simply the best!  Gainesway is an incredible Vet Clinic and I would highly recommend the staff.  Dr. Vice is the vet I have used now for many years.  He is steller!!  I greatly appreciate his honesty and guidance in the care of our pet German Shepherds.  We have had many health issues with our dogs over the years and Dr. Vice has always been straightforward in giving us options and helps to talk through the pros and cons of each choice.  That has helped us a great deal in deciding on the ongoing healthcare for our pups.  Just today, he helped to remove a tumor from my nearly 11 year old dog and she is doing great post-surgery.  He will be our vet for as long as he is in practice!As a side note, I have also worked with Dr. McCord and Dr. Howe before and am very complimentary of them as well.  The clinic, as a whole, really gets it and cares a great deal about the pets and the owners they work with.
