I live in WV and work as an EMS Supervisor. A horse had fallen into a cistern and I was standing by with the fire department as they tried to rescue the horse. We were unable to find a sling to put around the distressed animal and we could not find a local veterinarian to guide us on how to properly rescue this horse. I had an employee working that day who owns horses so I called her and asked for advise. She gave me Dr. Parks number. I called and explained the situation, he then went step by step on how to rig a full body harness out of a tow strap for lifting a horse. The rescue was a success and his advise and instructions were the saving grace of this animal. 'SUGAR' is doing great after her ordeal. Thank you again Dr Park. Read Less

Thank you Dr. Hestad, Dr. Waldridge, Dr. Bell, Dr. Park, Dr. Lewis and the doctor from Spain (I can't remember names but she was so nice to me and my son when I came to visit everyday). They took such good care of my Percheron mare while she was in the hospital for almost a month. Everyone treated her like a million dollars and they knew she was more than just a horse to me, I rescued her out of a kill pen in Bastrop Louisiana just hours before loaded on a truck headed to Mexico for slaughter. She had a permanent tracheotomy and is doing fantastic, loving life. I'm looking forward to hopefully showing her one day and I can't thank them enough for saving her life. Thank you all so much.
