I brought my elderly cat in on a Saturday early morning because she was ataxic and vomiting. After this vet visit, I ended up having to go to another emergency vet because of the poor care she received here.
The facility is dingy and does not seem to have the requisite equipment on site to deal properly with emergencies. Dr. Tran suspected kidney failure and took a blood draw but said he wasn't able to get the results until the lab opened on Monday. We were to go home and wait. Sending a very ill animal away to suffer for almost two days because you're unable to perform basic tests is not only cruel but seems antithetical to the concept of an emergency vet.
In the meantime, he gave her some fluids, which was good since she was dehydrated. However, he then prescribed her cannabinoid oil and told me to give her honey. He told me the honey was for energy but could not explain to me in a convincing way what the cannabinoid oil would do for my cat.
Anyway, I took her to another emergency vet who said her symptoms were simply not those of kidney failure. They did bloodwork, blood pressure check, and urinalysis in-house and it turns out she had a raging UTI. It did not even occur to Dr. Tran to test for this, even though I told him that she was prone to UTIs. The new emergency vet told me that I was the second case that week that had come from the AEC needing additional treatment after seeing Dr. Tran.
Moral of the story: if you need an emergency vet, I would skip this one, as you may just need to find another one, anyway.

Allopathic medicine would have my pup put down, but with the help of Animal Emergency Center, he is happy and thriving! Dr. Tran and his staff are truly passionate about the care of pets. Dr. Tran is amazing and I wish there were more veterinarians like him and his staff everywhere!
We read about after we left from our visit thar Dr. Tran is one of the nation’s leading practitioners of Integrative Veterinary Medicine.
This made perfect sense! Dr. Tran truly made sure that we didn't just resolve the problem, he made sure to take care of the vital organs after the amount of stress they endured from our emergency situation with a home medication. No other vet has sent me home with medication like this to help insure our dog gets back to his normal self.
Big things come in small packages here, the building is a smaller facility which is not a problem at all especially late!
A emergency situation is limited to time. Fast diagnoses, treatment, and care!
You get that all here quickly!
I hope I never have a pet emergency again, but if that day ever comes, I will without a doubt be back.

We had an emergency in the middle of the night with one of our two dogs and brought her in bc it was the closest option to our home. We felt like while the service was basic and straight forward as well as was high quality and effective. The vet did not try to push us to run extra tests and took the most financially conservative route (while maintaining medical efficacy). Not exactly a posh location or clinic but good people, good service and we left an emergency vet visit without a huge bill and a healthier dog. I would certainly recommend them based on that experience.

We had an emergency in the middle of the night with one of our two dogs and brought her in bc it was the closest option to our home. We felt like while the service was basic and straight forward as well as was high quality and effective. The vet did not try to push us to run extra tests and took the most financially conservative route (while maintaining medical efficacy). Not exactly a posh location or clinic but good people, good service and we left an emergency vet visit without a huge bill and a healthier dog. I would certainly recommend them based on that experience.
