Best vet office I have ever found. I moved and still drive 30 minutes to come here for my fur babies needs. The staff is always very happy, friendly, and helpful. They are also very supportive when it comes to the hard choices that sometimes have to be made. I have been taking my pets to Dr. Bridges for over 4 years and have never had anything close to a bad experience. I have also left my dog with them in their kennel while gone out of town for a few days. Dropping my dog off he was always happy and excited because he knew where he was and picking him up he was just as happy to see me as he was when I left him. They are highly trained, skilled, and great with all pets. If you are looking for a vet office to take great care of our pets, please check them out. Read Less

I love taking my Fur baby here. They are very nice to you and the animal, and they have wonderful service. The doctors really listen to you and your concerns and they actually take the time to bond with your animal. I don’t think I will ever take my dog to another Vet. Dr. Bridges saw my beloved fur baby Dozer from the time I got him at 8 weeks old to his last breath. I cannot say enough nice things about him and his staff. I have taken all my pets to Dr. Bridges and he is the best. When I've had concerns, he and his staff have never hesitated in getting my pet in to be treated. Dr Bridges has always called me back personally if I had a question, which is a wonderful thing. Recently, I had to make the hardest decision to help a senior kitty cross the rainbow bridge. I'm not usually one to take the time to write a review, but this vet clinic is exceptional! The staff are so kind and genuinely want to help. They didn't make me put my cat through a million tests or pressure me to, but suggested one that found the issue and didn't cost me an arm and a leg. The best vet clinic I've been to in 20+ years of pet ownership! I'm so lucky I found Bardstown Road Animal Clinic.  Every time I have a pet emergency, they find a way to get me in, even when they are very busy and Dr Bridges ensures that I understand exactly what is happening and provides plenty of information so I can be an educated pet owner.  He even calls me at night when the test results come in, and the staff is wonderful too.   Wish I could find a doctor's office (for humans) just like this place.P.s. they have rotating veterinarians in the office also, and I've always had a great experience with them too. I take my two dogs here for everything they need!  The Bardstown Road Animal Clinic staff really are the friendliest veterinary staff I have seen and are also extremely knowledgeable on common issues with our pets.  I have to stop in monthly for Trifexis and find that their prices are extremely reasonable.  If you are looking for a Vet in this area, seriously consider stopping in! I have been taking my pets to see Dr. Bridges since 2005. These are the most caring people I have ever met. The staff was amazing when I had my 2 cats Sadie and later Sassy euthanized. This year, my 14 year old Lab Gracie was getting to the end of her life; Dr. Bridges and his staff helped her cross The Rainbow Bridge. The treated Gracie and us with so much love; I saw the girls tearing up. I would highly recommend this excellent animal clinic. You won't be sorry. Dr Bridges has been our vet since 1990. You can tell he and his staff love animals. I appreciate the fact he always takes his time to explain what's going on with our cats, whether it be lab results, medications, symptoms, etc. He's been exceptionally gracious and sympathetic when three of our beloved fur babies got sick and needed help crossing over to the Rainbow Bridge. We all were treated with such kindness, patience and true compassion! They both have been suffering with a couple ailments and I feel like they are getting excellent care. Dr. Bridges from Bardstown Animal Clinic helped me keep my first cat healthy and he lived for 18 years. My first cat has since passed and I have purchased another cat. Lately, he has been ill with intestinal problems, so took him to a vet closer to my home. the closer vet was very kind to him, however they only treat minor problems and they give referrals to other clinics (a referral would be two bills, one for the closer clinic and one for the clinic with specialization) so i called Bardstown Road Animal Hospital, and they said that i could bring him in an hour later. They accepted my pet within an hour, and they even treated him with a tornado warning covering the area. Bardstown Road Animal Clinic also offers extensive care for pets, so if my cat needed an operation, I could keep him with the same vet. From now on I'll go the extra miles.
