Cat Clinic Of Louisville

Louisville, Kentucky
General Info
Cat Clinic of Louisville provides reliable and flexible veterinary services to Louisville pets enabling owners to maintain a proactive approach through defined milestones and changing health objectives across Kentucky. A structured discussion initiates the visit where daily behavior shifts in appetite bathroom changes sleep patterns and environmental changes are examined. The physical exam evaluates joint mobility alongside heart and lung sounds while assessing eye clarity, skin quality, and oral condition. The comparison of these findings against baseline notes and previous visits enables early detection of subtle changes. The Cat Clinic of Louisville provides a range of services including wellness screenings, parasite testing, stool analysis, vaccinations and dental assessments as well as mobility evaluations and weight counseling alongside tailored treatments for both skin and GI issues. The management of pet care evolves according to specific age brackets, breed characteristics, and family environment conditions. Active dogs undergo frequent orthopedic assessments while older indoor pets need chronic care schedules focusing on thyroid and renal health. After their visit owners gain access to systematically arranged records along with subsequent follow-up notifications. Digital access encompasses records of visits alongside prescription tracking and milestone logs while also providing planning tools. Families managing numerous pets or facing restricted access may opt for combined appointments, virtual consultations, or alternating follow-up timetables. Senior pets often receive adjusted care pacing with additional comfort assessments at home. The Cat Clinic of Louisville enables Louisville families to develop habitual care practices through established touchpoints and detailed planning. The dependable performance of systems in Kentucky residences creates quantifiable impacts throughout extended periods.

Worst experience ever. I wanna start by telling you I have never written a bad review online. However, this situation called for it. We are only loving owners of our pet and care for her well being. After the first bad experience we had here- we chalked it up as maybe they were having an off day and decided to give them another chance and go back due to them specializing in cats. Once Dr. David Jones came into the room we were explaining our concerns as he was looking over our cat, I went to show a video of what she has been doing that was concerning us and he turned very aggressively and raised his voice shutting me down like I was a Child. At that moment we stopped in shock and my fiancé said that the last time we we’re here we had a bad experience and we didn’t want to start this visit off that way either. Immediately the Dr. (once again very aggressive) told us well we can’t work together then and you can leave. We were in complete shock and sad that our cat was left untreated. I would not recommend this place to anyone wanting to get treatment for their cats. I work in healthcare and rude and hatefulness towards patients is not tolerated. I was appalled at how he spoke to us and treated us. This is not a loving facility. Read Less

I read all the comments and decided to take my male cat here instead of my regular vet. He reacted so much better and was totally calm and relaxed during his visit. The vet was very thorough and attentive to our questions. Although my cat is elderly with kidney issues I feel better about the treatment he is getting. In the two weeks since we went he has put on weight and shown marked improvement. I highly recommend this clinic. Great vet and great staff. Read Less

My 17 year old cat, Kittywitt became ill and I did not want to take her to a clinic that had other dogs there. She can be very anxious and riding in a car is not a good experience for her. We have a furry little princess.  She's spoiled and pampered and we don't mind admitting that we would rather hang out with her than most people.  We buy her the best food, organic, grain free treats, and toys like Santa is our brother-in-law.  She has a "Kitty City" that takes up a chunk of one room in our house.  This cat gets the best of everything. We take her to the Cat Clinic of Louisville because they *are* the best of the best.  She is always treated wonderfully.  They are gentle, caring, and professional.  The cost of care is reasonable. The only rough patch was when we took her in to have her claws trimmed recently.  We refuse to get her declawed mostly because we live in the country.  If she does happen to get outside, I want her to have something with which to defend herself against raccoons, possums, and other random critters.  So, we get her claws trimmed every so often.  We have professionals do this because we don't want to hurt her.The last time we did this, they cut too far back on one claw.  She yowled and bled.  I don't think that we'll be getting her claws trimmed again. After having my cat for nearly 20 years I can tell you that I'm not going to take my baby girl to a sketchy animal clinic.  I will only ever take her to the best facility because she's not only a part of my family, but a part of my heart.  The Cat Clinic treated her like she was one of their own, and that made an anxious pet owner very relaxed.  Until the end of her wonderful life I will continue taking her to veterinarians that are attentive and focused on giving her the best care.  For me, Cat Clinic is the only place to go.  Love you guys! Dr. Jones and his staff are just the best...kind, gentle, supportive, and most importantly, super-competent. I drive an hour (one way) to bring my kitties here because everyone is so lovely and interested in the health and comfort of my 'fur-babies'. There are no barking dogs so no one is stressed and patients move in and out quietly. It's just nice to have a feline-specialty facility in the area and to be treated so well.Read Less
