Dr. Tooke is absolutely AMAZING. I’ve been taking my animals to him for the last 16 years...from my first cat and dog, to my current crew; 2 tabby cats, a black lab, and a German Shepherd. He is so attentive and so knowledgeable. He not only spends eons of time with my fur babies but always takes extra time out of his day to answer all my questions and help me be the most knowledable owner I can be. When I lost my 16 year old dog he, along with his staff, hand wrote me a card and sent me a grieving book. He is seriously one of the most amazing vets I’ve ever met. His prices are a little higher than the avg vet, but it comes with quality that is unmatched and worth every single penny. I chose this vet because of the reviews about his experience with German Shepherds. My dog is aggressive. It’s an issue we are working on with a trainer. He has never bitten anyone, but he is super loud and scared around strangers. He needs a moment to acclimate and calm down around new people. I informed the staff of this when I made the appointment and again when we arrived. Over the phone, I was assured that they had muzzles incase it was needed. The vet tech was super friendly. My dog barked at her once but stopped when he was bribed with treats. However, when the vet came in, he spent 15 seconds tops in the room to tell me he wouldn’t help my dog unless he was sedated. If I had known this was how this vet would treat the situation, I never would have made an appointment. If you want a friendly vet that actually cares about animals, do not make an appointment here! I left the appointment and went to another vet clinic where we had no issues. I recommend looking elsewhere for a vet. Read Less

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Tooke and the rest of the staff at Eastpoint! I have taken my German Sherpherd, Brego, there since he was a puppy, and he has always been treated with the best care I could imagine! Over the years Dr. Tooke and the staff have gone above and beyond with caring for Brego. The list goes on and on but for a few examples... When we moved out of state and they had no problem sending us Brego's flea and tic meds for the summer, Brego had an appointment for blood work and Dr. Tooke called me after hours to make sure I had the results asap, and has even given me his personal cell in times of emergency over the weekend, not to mention when I called late on a Friday expecting to get a voicemail in order to schedule Bregos next appointment I was greeted and his appointment was made quickly even though they were closing! In addition, I also appreciate that Dr. Tooke is working with my dog's internist in Indianapolis My dog has a myriad of ailments so her care can be complicated and Dr. Tooke will explain everything to me. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Tooke and his team!! This is the first time I've had a dog and Dr. Tooke always takes the time to explain everything in detail and answer all of my questions. Plus, he has a collie like mine so I take extra comfort in knowing he is aware of all of their drug sensitivities. His team is awesome with Roxie, especially Mark. Dr. Tookke and his staff are so caring and knowledgeable. They were so accomodating and empathetic when my old dog had to be put down, and my new dog Rudy loves going to the vet! They take such good care of the animals and help keep the owners fully informed too. We love Dr. Tooke's and his team! Our dog is not an easy dog and has extreme anxiety that turns in to aggression when he is scared. We have been to many vets prior to Dr. Tooke's and have always felt like our dog was viewed as "too much work." We feel so lucky to have found Dr. Tooke's, who takes the time to get to know our dog, Jake, and work with him. As a nervous "dog mom" he put my worries at ease. EXCELLENT care! Our GREYHOUND Tina Turner became ill and we could not be reached (due to being on a plane). Our Greyhound babysitter rushed her to Dr Tooke and he took excellent care of her as he always does! He provided her emergency care and called and updated me afterwards. Phenomenal first experience! I wanted a second opinion for one of my four legged babies. Upon the recommendation of a friend, I decided to give Eastpoint a try and I am VERY GLAD I did. Dr. Tooke reviewed the recent  labs I provided fromanother vet, and thoroughly discussed all of the possible causes for their elevations, the exams to rule them out and their costs. I have never had someone spend so much time with me. He never bad talked my vet or recommended unnecessary diagnostic exams. I was highly impressed and am very thankful for his knowledge and educated opinion. He gives my vet a run for his money. $230 for a cat to have blood work and a shot.  Every time our cat or dog goes in, there's a laundry list of add-on's he wants to do "just to be safe".... Feel like its a play on emotion to run up the bill. Read Less
