Dropped dogs off for boarding on Tuesday. Told the staff we would be back on Friday 11/24/17 at 5pm, (closes at 6) to pick the dogs up. They said no problem, we show up today to get them at 4:30pm and...
Dropped dogs off for boarding on Tuesday. Told the staff we would be back on Friday 11/24/17 at 5pm, (closes at 6) to pick the dogs up. They said no problem, we show up today to get them at 4:30pm and NO ONE is there. Everything is locked up and closed. We called multiple times and no answer. We understand if they are going to be closed on black friday BUT at least tell us when we drop the dogs off, and or put a sign on the door! Made a mistake on boarding our dogs here.

Took my cat there because He would see the vet and get groomed. An all in one stop. He never had any type of skin outbreak. After he was groomed once there he got some kind of skin infection....the staff is kind but I am not sure what is going on in the grooming area...not sure if the same equipment is used for cats and dogs....all I know is I will not go back. He has never been sickly but after going here, it was always something when he came home. I'm going back to Cat Clinic on Bardstown road.

My family has trusted Evergreen with our dogs for over a decade. My childhood dog for most of her life, my parents two dogs, and now my year old pup. Most of the staff has been there for a very long time, my dog knows the staff and is happy to see them. I have never waited more than 5 minutes past our appointment.
They are a little expensive in some areas, but if you ask about the costs upfront they are honest and transparent. If you are unhappy with your bill them you should have done the research and asked questions just like any other service. My childhood dog lived for many, many years longer than expected. Good people, good service.

TERRIBLE FOR BOARDING! They find a way to charge you! Horrible business. We called to make a reservation over a week ago and asked if we needed anything like shot info or updates on shots. They said don't worry we'll contact your vet and if you need something we'll call you... We get there and told that we do need a update on a vaccine and it would be $20. Ok. Well...when we picked up our pet the next day they charged us an additional $35 for a physical! We said why did you tell me it was 20 when it was really $55. They said we don't tell people because they get mad. Well yeah it's absolutely ridiculous!! We could have taken care of this with our vet before we came. These people are looking for any excuse to charge you. Will never get my business again.

I have been taking my dogs to Evergreen animal hospital for 5 years now. While they aren't the cheapest they are always upfront about pricing. And as with most things you get what you pay for! They know what they are doing and recommend the best care. Always very professional and kind. I even board my dogs here when I am out of town considering one isn't the friendliest and if something does happen they are already at the vet! Dr. Hornback is great and I wouldn't trust my dogs with anyone else.

So be prepared to get your wallet out because $900.00 is not a lot of money to them. This was 4/2016

We've been taking our two cats and two-year old English bulldog to Evergreen since they were all just babies. We've had a couple of emergencies along the way, and the doctors and staff always went above and beyond when we needed them. Doctor Hornback even came to the office after hours once when our bulldog was a puppy and came down with pneumonia. Brook and Christina are great to work with and always so helpful! Churchill our bulldog loves coming to the office because he always gets lots of love and treats! I've never known a dog who gets so excited to visit the vet! Thank you to everyone at Evergreen!

Took my cat there because He would see the vet and get groomed. An all in one stop. He never had any type of skin outbreak. After he was groomed once there he got some kind of skin infection....the staff is kind but I am not sure what is going on in the grooming area...not sure if the same equipment is used for cats and dogs....all I know is I will not go back. They know what they are doing and recommend the best care. Always very professional and kind. We've been taking our two cats and two-year old English bulldog to Evergreen since they were all just babies. We've had a couple of emergencies along the way, and the doctors and staff always went above and beyond when we needed them. Doctor Hornback even came to the office after hours once when our bulldog was a puppy and came down with pneumonia. Brook and Christina are great to work with and always so helpful! Churchill our bulldog loves coming to the office because he always gets lots of love and treats! I've never known a dog who gets so excited to visit the vet! Thank you to everyone at Evergreen!
