I've only been a couple times, but I've never been rushed, or overcharged. They've shown care for my animal and been gentle with her. And they handle things in a way I feel I can trust. And trust is a big deal in a business that may determine the life of your pet. Read Less

We LOVE Dr. Berge AND his entire staff! They are a small town feel veterinarian practice who treats their four legged patients with love and the best of care. Dr. Berge keeps his pricing very, very, reasonable and we never feel we are being up sold on unnecessary products. The wait time is usually short and they take great care to keep potentially sick pets separated from healthy pets. I guess all this is why we've been using them over 18 years and will continue to as long as we have furry children in our home. Read Less

I took my very ill dog there for about a year or so. There services are not expensive, but they will promote/charge for preventives that are more expensive, sometimes $20 or more expensive, than other places. Their hours are also not the most convenient. They can close early in the afternoon. That said, the vet and staff are courteous and knowledgable. I've been going to Gaslight Square for over 10 years now. I have several other vet options closer to where I live but the staff here has always been so friendly and helpful. It's nice having a place to go that you know has the best interest for you and your pet. Dr. Tom is great and his support staff are always knowledgeable. Even when they are busy they make sure they take the time to answer all of my questions. As long as they are around they will be who I trust with my pets! Read Less

Was referred by a friend,  very affordable and best of all you see same vet every time and they really do care about your pets unlike the the big guys. Most just have inflated prices and are all about the money. The Doctor and his son were the best along with the staff. We have three Dachshunds and they will be seen here.. Read Less

Dr. Tom Berge and his staff are wonderful!! We started seeing him in the 1990's (a long time ago) for our cats and when we lived close by. Since then, we moved a county away. I tried another vet that was closer to us, once. We were disappointed in that experience. Consequently, we quickly returned to Dr Berge & Gaslight Square Animal Hospital and have been very happy. Granted it is a bit of a drive but he cares about the animals and their caretakers.  As a bonus, his prices are very reasonable. This is important when one has lots of pets. Read Less

We have had nothing but excellent care from Dr. Berge and his staff. We take all 3 of our pets (2 cats and one dog) and have always received wonderful service. When one of our cats was diagnosed with diabetes I was trained on how to administer the insulin and they took the time to answer all of my questions. The same when our dog needed an xray, it was shown and explained to me and I was given a copy on a CD if needed in the future or for after hours care. I wouldn't go anyplace else!! I visited this office for the first time with my new puppy. When I bought my puppy he had kennel cough. When I took him to the vet it seemed like the doctor couldn't care less. He didnt answer any of my questions. He just gave him medicine and we left. I asked why my puppy had diahhera, no answer. I asked about kennel cough and got no answer. Recently I visited a different vet office that my family members go to. I learned more than enough about kennel cough and all my questions were answer and more. I feel like they were very unprofessional. I am not happy with this vet and I will not be returning. Read Less
