This is an amazing clinic. I have taken my pets here several times and have had outstanding service each and every time. Dr. Wood is amazing and treats each animal with dignity and respect. Their prices are very reasonable as well. I’d highly recommend this clinic to anybody!

The people who work at this clinic honestly care about the animals they are treating, and are not just out to get your money. They are reasonably priced and maintain a very thorough and caring experience for the animals and their owners! I can not recommend them enough, I will definitely be going back and recommend anyone else in the Louisville area to check them out.
FYI - it is a very small clinic, and call their office for the correct hours of when they are open for walk-ins vs appointments (not online).

Highly recommended. Me and my wife just recently had to put down our dog Rocco. We has him for 12 years and he was a huge part of our family. We had him seen at Grimes and Woods, but took him home to pass on his own. When the worse took its toll, we took him to a animal hospital to be put down. A few days later we received a card, and a note, from Grimes and Woods, stating how sorry they were for our loss. That was very touching and meant a lot to us, ecspecially considering we didn't tell them that we had him put to sleep, but they cared enough to keep up with what was happening to him. Thank you all!

Clinic has been here for over 50 years. You cannot find doctors who care more for your pets than Dr. Mike Grimes and Dr. Woods. Very reasonably priced and they do not do anything that is not needed for your animal. I would highly recommend them to anyone who loves their pet and wants them to have the best treatment possible.

I have been going to Grimes Wood Animal for years. All the vets there are wonderful as well as the staff. I have 2 Boxers. Dr. Mike is especially good with bigger dogs. They don't do anything that isn't necessary or in your pets best interest. I refer all of my pet owner friends to this vet.

We have been bringing our pets here for over 10 years and love all the vets. They also take time to explain everything to use and they have several days for walk ins.

The people who work at this clinic honestly care about the animals they are treating, and are not just out to get your money. They are reasonably priced and maintain a very thorough and caring experience for the animals and their owners! I can not recommend them enough, I will definitely be going back and recommend anyone else in the Louisville area to check them out.
FYI - it is a very small clinic, and call their office for the correct hours of when they are open for walk-ins vs appointments (not online).

Highly recommended. Me and my wife just recently had to put down our dog Rocco. We has him for 12 years and he was a huge part of our family. We had him seen at Grimes and Woods, but took him home to pass on his own. When the worse took its toll, we took him to a animal hospital to be put down.
