I love and adore Dr. King. He has been there with me from my Guinea pig that had blood in his stools , and whelping 5 litters of puppies. At least 5 years. I have never seen another Dr. text at 5 am to check on the new litter and mom. I had been worried because she was a couple days early. Glad I had him in my corner. All the staff is professional, friendly and as caring as Dr. King. I will never go anywhere else with my fur babies.

Five stars for Dr King and his staff because they are friendly, professional and provide fairly priced services. I've been bringing all my animals here for about five years. I first came because it was close to my house, but I've since moved and we still come back.
About a year ago my daughters elderly hamster was beginning to self-mutilate so we took it to Dr. King. He explained that this was normal behavior when a hamster is at the end of life, and there was no treatment, so we had her euthanized. He only charged us $10, even though the euthanization fee was $50. He was very caring and gentle with Pipper, and didn't act like we were crazy for euthanizing a hamster.
I saw several bad reviews that looked suspiciously similar (misspellings and poor punctuatuon), and to each his own. I'm an animal lover, so I understand people are sensitive about their pets. If your pet is in life threatening distress, take them to a pet hospital.

I was charged for an examination when the Doctor did not even examine my pet. I had told the doctor that I had found the dog and did not know much about her. I had to ask if she was spayed & how old he thought she was. The doctor “plopped” her on the table and was not gentle as I’m sure he could tell she was scared. I was then charged for fecal exam when I brought in a stool sample.
I did not feel like the doctor was very personable or caring.

THEY REFUSED TO RETURN ANYONES CALLS AND SADLY HE PASSED AWAY EN ROUTE TO THE EMERGENCY VET. BOTH VET AND RECEPTIONIST WERE RUDE AND THE RECEPTIONIST SAID " ITS JUST A CAT"

I have never heard of a place being so inconsiderate and cold hearted towards a family as this one. They treated a cat and sent it home a day early despite knowing they needed to observe him and the family telling them the cat was in obvious distress and not healing. (Knowing the cat wasn’t doing good they gave him a cocktail of meds and told them to leave.) They ignored this elderly couples calls following sending their fur baby home a day early and knowing something was wrong. Also, knowing they didn’t keep him for observation or do their job fully they charged this couple an extra hundred dollars.The cat passed away on his way to an emergency vet, when asked about details they blew this couple off and even had the nerve to say “get over it, it’s just a cat!!!” I can’t fathom knowingly letting someone who obviously cares about nothing but money touch any of my babies. They aren’t just cats or dogs, they are family and should be treated as that. Maybe to this office they are just animals.... but they are still a life either way and that should be valued. I’m disgusted.

Horrible place I was taking all my pets there until dr king decided to be a jerk! I walked in there to take my sick pup to I thought a caring vet turned out to be anything but that, he first pointed out how many times I was bringing in my pup then I told him well isn't there any test you can run he then said to me not what he needs, he made it seem like it was my fault my pup was sick I've been nothing but a good mom to my animals they r my children and anyone in my house will say the same thing my pup was getting into the cat litter, either way he shouldn't jump to conclusions, then when I requested my dogs medical records he acted like a complete douche bag!!!! I will never take my animals to him again, and what a shame because he lost a very good customer he didn't even get to know any of us my family and I had been going there for awhile now, it's not my loss really I'll find a better vet one with more practice and a person who makes u feel comfortable, and I will make sure people know what a arrogant jerk he really is!!!!!! There was only one staff member I liked there and I met her today she looked 12 years old but was the nicest person they he working there it's sad a young girl is more professional than anyone I had met there

I've been taking my cat and dogs to Dr. King for over 10 years. He has a genuine love for animals and is very knowledgeable in all areas. When it was time to put our oldest dog down, Dr King showed us as much compassion and respect as any funeral director I've ever known. He's the best! And his office staff is pretty awesome too.

He even followed up after she passed to ask a few questions to help try to figure out what happened to her. Their boarding services are reasonable and my pups seem to like it. Great place highly recommend.

I have never heard of a place being so inconsiderate and cold hearted towards a family as this one. They treated a cat and sent it home a day early despite knowing they needed to observe him and the family telling them the cat was in obvious distress and not healing. Horrible place I was taking all my pets there until dr king decided to be a jerk!
