I called on a Saturday and they were able to squeeze my sick, recently adopted puppy into their schedule an hour later. They took lots of precaution with her for the sake of other dogs, which I appreciated. I definitely wouldn't want someone else's pet to get sick because mine was. Adopted a very timid rescue pup a little over a week ago. It's been baby steps with absolutely everything- eating, walking, accepting affection without cowering. From the moment we walked in the door, everyone was extremely kind and welcoming to Daisy (and myself). Dr. Kelly was particularly wonderful with my shy little dog, and Daisy's tail was wagging and ears were perked by the time we walked out. Outstanding service and such caring staff. Dr Neats is hands down the best vet I have ever worked with. So compassionate, proactive and intelligent. When I lost my past kitties, Mout and Lester... Beyond belief. I went there for the first time for an emergency situation with my pup. Even though I didn't have an appointment and they were fully booked, they saw how concerned I was and still managed to squeeze me in a couple of hours later. Dr. Zimmer saw my pup for the first time that day, my pup was freaked out and couldn't jump up on my lap, so I sat on the floor with her. Dr. Zimmer sat down on the floor with us to do all the exams and talk to us. She was incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. She referred us to a specialist, but still followed up several times that day and called every day since (for a week!) then to check in and answer questions. She even called my father back several times when he had questions... and he lives thousands of miles away. It's not like we had a long-established report with her, she had only seen my pup the once, but she still went waaayy above and beyond to help us. I am so glad I decided to come to VCA that day. I have been taking my little Yorkie Lola Bella there for 3 years. Dr. Neat is sweet, caring, kind & considerate. All the staff there seem to care about my baby, my time, her health & our happiness. They are a bit pricey but I have found my peace of mind and Lola's well being worth it.Read Less
