Pam and the crew here, love animals, and work very very hard to take care of everybody's critters and the anxious owners as well. They have not yet taken care of any animal for me, but I guess I'm in as good a position to write a review as anyone, as I am a vendor who sits in the clinic sometimes all day watching what goes on behind the scenes. (They neither solicited my review Nor am I getting anything in exchange.) I just believe in giving credit where credit is due, and always will take time to shine the light on others who are conscientious, fair, and competent. It seems harder and harder in this world to find providers who are well priced, transparent, and expert at the same time. Bring your animals to Pam - she cares about them, you, and she knows what she's doing.

Pam is awesome! I moved from Mount Washington to Louisville and had to take my cat to a vet close to home... big mistake. Ended up haveing to take her to the emergency vet and then to Johnsen Veterinary later for a follow up and becaus I was still concerned about my cat! Pam really listened to my concerns and helped me with my cat. I am happy to say that my little girl and doing better and I thank Johnsen Veterinary for helping with that!

You can’t go wrong with taking your pet to dr Pam she’s always tentative to my dog Drake and what’s going on with him she never tries to do anything I can’t afford and she’s always there when I need her I have been to many vets as I also worked at a vet clinic myself and I know what it takes to be there for the pets and there owners because not only is she concerned with the pet she always makes sure you as the owner is taken care of and explains in detail what you need to do to make your pet feel better and her prices are very reasonable so if you’re looking for a caring and very helpful veterinarian she the one I would recommend

Yesterday was my first time at this office and I was so impressed with the staff there! My dog Trixie had a bad experience with a Pet Smart so she was a little stand-off-ish at first but the Doctor and staff was so warm, loving, and nice! I have been taking my baby to Dr Pam for 8 years. She is the most caring vet I have ever taken my baby too. She will not perform procedures that are not needed just to get your money and she always kept my bill as small as possible. There are times I have been to see her and she didn't want to charge me. I had to insist on paying her. I love her to death and her staff is so friendly and professional. I would recommend her to anyone!

You loved Daisy as if she were your own, just as I hoped you would. We were also so impressed with how clean the facility was and how well cared for ALL the animals were while we were there. One evening a few weeks ago our little guy Roscoe had suddenly developed paralysis in his hind legs. My wife immediately called Dr. Johnsen to help. She said to bring him and they would see him right away. We took him to Dr. Johnsen to see if there was anything they could do. We left him in their care and got a call about 30 minutes later with the diagnosis. We had a choice of a $4500 surgery or a $350 round of laser treatments. We could not afford the surgery, so we opted for the laser treatments. Now he has finished his treatments and is like his old self again. I can't thank the staff enough for their caring and professionalism.

The lady up front was very nice and apologetic but Pam was NOT. We definitely won't be back, I would not recommend going there.

She did emergency abdominal surgery because he had a blockage of hair bands in his abdomen and small intestines. She allowed my daughter and I to come back and visit him after the surgery and she was very helpful at answering my questions. Thank you Dr. Johnsen!

We use Dr. Pam Johnsen because she is very familiar with cats and we have 5. One of our male cats had been diagnosed by 2 other Vets as having Asthma and was taking steroid shots. These shots are hard on a cat over a long period of time. Dr. Johnsen examined our cat and said to take him off the shots because he didn't have asthma, which we did. He started playing more, became more active and his fur coat really looked better, more shine and hair growth. Very positive change. The whole staff is friendly and they take a personal interest in you pets. Would definitely recommend Johnsen Veterinary Services to anyone who has cats.

I have known Dr. Johnsen since I was 16 and used to volunteer at her office. She is a wonderful person and and amazing doctor. Every time you are around her it is very apparent how much she cares for the animals she treats!!!! The other night we had an emergency with my moms dog and Dr. johnsen and her staff stayed after hours to wait for us, even after we had been stuck in traffic for half an hour. When we arrived she immediately assured me that the problem could be fixed. I have lived in Louisville for 5 years now and there are at least 10 vet offices within a five mile radius of my house and I still make the drive to Mt. Washington and will always do that she is the best and only person I trust with our four legged family members. Dr. Johnsen and her staff are amazing and I would never go anywhere else!!!

Pam and the crew here, love animals, and work very very hard to take care of everybody's critters and the anxious owners as well. They have not yet taken care of any animal for me, but I guess I'm in as good a position to write a review as anyone, as I am a vendor who sits in the clinic sometimes all day watching what goes on behind the scenes. (They neither solicited my review Nor am I getting anything in exchange.) I just believe in giving credit where credit is due, and always will take time to shine the light on others who are conscientious, fair, and competent. It seems harder and harder in this world to find providers who are well priced, transparent, and expert at the same time. Bring your animals to Pam - she cares about them, you, and she knows what she's doing.

Pam is awesome! I moved from Mount Washington to Louisville and had to take my cat to a vet close to home... big mistake. Ended up haveing to take her to the emergency vet and then to Johnsen Veterinary later for a follow up and becaus I was still concerned about my cat! Pam really listened to my concerns and helped me with my cat. I am happy to say that my little girl and doing better and I thank Johnsen Veterinary for helping with that!

She will not perform procedures that are not needed just to get your money and she always kept my bill as small as possible. There are times I have been to see her and she didn't want to charge me. I had to insist on paying her. I love her to death and her staff is so friendly and professional. I would recommend her to anyone!

One evening a few weeks ago our little guy Roscoe had suddenly developed paralysis in his hind legs. My wife immediately called Dr. Johnsen to help. She said to bring him and they would see him right away. We took him to Dr. Johnsen to see if there was anything they could do. We left him in their care and got a call about 30 minutes later with the diagnosis. We had a choice of a $4500 surgery or a $350 round of laser treatments. We could not afford the surgery, so we opted for the laser treatments. Now he has finished his treatments and is like his old self again. I can't thank the staff enough for their caring and professionalism.

She did emergency abdominal surgery because he had a blockage of hair bands in his abdomen and small intestines. She allowed my daughter and I to come back and visit him after the surgery and she was very helpful at answering my questions. Thank you Dr. Johnsen!

We use Dr. Pam Johnsen because she is very familiar with cats and we have 5. One of our male cats had been diagnosed by 2 other Vets as having Asthma and was taking steroid shots. These shots are hard on a cat over a long period of time. Dr. Johnsen examined our cat and said to take him off the shots because he didn't have asthma, which we did. He started playing more, became more active and his fur coat really looked better, more shine and hair growth. Very positive change. The whole staff is friendly and they take a personal interest in you pets. Would definitely recommend Johnsen Veterinary Services to anyone who has cats.

I have known Dr. Johnsen since I was 16 and used to volunteer at her office. She is a wonderful person and and amazing doctor. Every time you are around her it is very apparent how much she cares for the animals she treats!!!! The other night we had an emergency with my moms dog and Dr. johnsen and her staff stayed after hours to wait for us, even after we had been stuck in traffic for half an hour. When we arrived she immediately assured me that the problem could be fixed. I have lived in Louisville for 5 years now and there are at least 10 vet offices within a five mile radius of my house and I still make the drive to Mt. Washington and will always do that she is the best and only person I trust with our four legged family members. Dr. Johnsen and her staff are amazing and I would never go anywhere else!!!
