You do not need a prescription to get the N Insulin for your dog. Just show an I.D. at WalMart pharmacy and ask for it. Animal diabetic monitoring kits can be bought through Amazon. I spent around a thousand dollars at this animal clinic within the past year. They wanted me to have my dog monitored again even though she was doing great. She went to the clinic feeling good but after I picked her up I could tell she was feeling bad. They also told me that the flu shot was 40 dollars and a second shot would be required. They did not tell me that the second shot was another 40 dollars. I feel like one of the previous reviewers in wondering how your dog goes to the animal clinic feeling good but comes out feeling bad. I have always found their prices to be extremely affordable in comparison to other VET offices. The time and care he gives to you and your pet are second to none. I have a very large dog who needed to be boarded while I was out of town but became ill just before I left. The Davis clinic took care of all of his needs while I was gone. I'm very disappointed in this clinic. I was informed my dog went to them to stay while my friend was out of town. Before dropping him off there he was in great condition. Never had any kind of issues prior until he went there. She went to get him Thursday just to discover that he won't eat or drink water. His poop is runny and has blood in it. I'm so furious with this company and I won't rest until something it done about it. How are you going to ruin my dog and then turn around and charge for an antibiotic?? For the most part this clinic is amazing! They always do really well with my pets. Genuinely care about your pets healing! Only down side is because they are so great, they are always booked. So appointment times can be kind of spread out. If you suddenly need something, it's best to go somewhere else.Read Less

Dr. Davis and Dr. Evans have been caring for for my fur babies for over 10 years. I've taken my puppy there twice Dr . Davis is wonderful with him the first time was just a nail trim and he didn't want my little guy to be afraid of him so didn't continue to file his down when he started crying and wiggling. Then we went back yesterday for check up and shots my little guy did great ,he likes the doctor and the staff have been very kind to this 1st Tim puppy owner. I would highly recommend Dr . I took my babies to Davis to be groomed. I had taken them to several other groomers before and didn't care for them. Davis was fabulous! The staff is super friendly and they looked great!!! I took a cat to be spayed a year ago to Davis Animal /clinic and the price was $200 total (which I thought was high)but I went ahead and paid it I assumed the price would be the same for this one.I stopped in at the designated time to check on my cat and was told they had been trying to call me concerned I ask why I was told there was some fluid in my cat's uterus and there would be additional charges totalling $360!! and maybe more if she needed antibiotics. they made a big deal out of her having ear mites and insisted they clean her ears for yet more charges. (I have medication for ear mites at home).I said NO and brought my kitten home,they had shaved her belly and gave her a Rabies & Distemper shot and the office visit came to a total of $60.50! I called another animal hospital and was quoted the price of $150 total for everything and that included her shots. I am thoroughly disappointed in this animal clinic,I am a senior and have to watch every penny I spend. Instead of trying to make spaying/nutering affordable to everyone it seems as though some vets try to take advantage of customers by using the person's love for their pets as an excuse to inflate their prices.
