Had an appointment for my german shepherd to be at Boonville at 1 o'clock when I called them to tell the Eastside Animal Shelter I was coming to pick Roxy up which is my dog's name they said okay we'll have it ready never told me anything about owning any more money, this is after we paid $500 up front to have her there. Knowing that we were in a hurry because the appointment was at 1 o'clock when I get there they proceeded to tell me how I'm a hundred and forty-six more dollars I didn't have any cash on me and all my money it was in my savings and not in my checking so not only did they make me late for my appointment by the time I got there and got the money out of my bank my mom had already called and paid needless to say it's not animals they care about they care about their it's their money. Also very disrespectfully asked me if you would have called before you were on your way this would have happened cuz we would have told you about your balance and that it would have had to be paid before you leave. well buddy you should be more in tune with your co-workers because we did call 30 minutes before we were coming. And then after telling him that I didn't have the cash on me and that my cards didn't have any cash because my cards don't have access to my savings account he asked me in a very smug and belittling way ,well if you can't pay 146 dollars how I'm going to even pay for the $5,000 worth of surgeries we're going to have to have on our dog, which he isn't even doing, Seems pretty rude to me and absolutely none of his business. wouldn't recommend him to anyone. Sad considering the extent of her injuries and how he and everyone I've talked to stress that surgery needs to be done as soon as possible he holds are there for $147.Read Less

The best care you'll find in Owensboro. The staff is amazing and they are so helpful! I've been impressed with how they care for my fur babies from day one. I've gone from vaccinations to having to say goodbye to one due to a cancerous tumor and they've been loving and supportive the whole time. It's a shame you can only give 5 stars this place been at the least100! They care about the pets no the money! I have never meet the sweetest and kindest ppl until I started coming here! The way they talk to my babies like I do myself! Some vets just look at you and thank you are out of your mind! Not here! They are very up on there studies!
