Needed to get our new puppy to a vet, and found this place on Yelp. Decided to try it since it got great reviews. I was able to book an appointment within a couple days of calling. We have used North Hardin Veterinary Clinic for many years. They've cared for our babies when they were well, while we were away, and when they were preparing to cross the rainbow bridge. The expertise has always been beyond great and the kind and caring nature of all those we've encountered at the office during all these times has been appreciated. Honestly the only two reasons I picked this place, was because of the hours they are open ( until 8pm on Tuesday and open Saturday at 8am) and because i knew where it was and knew it would not be a longer drive into E-town with my dog in the car. So I called and made an appt. Very Friendly staff from the phone call which always makes you feel better when picking a name out of a phone book. We got all set up and appt made. I had to take my dogs separately cause they two can be hard to handle with only one owner. Anyways the First appt. Went super well, my dog was so happy just to have people giving her attention. They were very nice and didn't do the typical vet thing of you have to buy this food, or have this shot or procedure guilt trip. I was there to get the required shots to keep my dogs healthy and have them caught up in case we had to board them during our PCS out of Fort Knox. So getting back to the point I was very glad they understood we were just getting shots and not much else. The second appt. with my other dog was on a different day so different staff. Again very friendly at the front desk, my dog was convinced that if she stood by the door in the waiting room she would be able to go out and get away from the vet office. Seeing my struggle with keeping her from the door, the front desk lady ( really lack for a better term here) offered to have us go into a room directly so i could let her walk around a bit and be more comfy. That was customer service and I loved it. Again super friendly vet tech and vet, and got some tips to help with keeping my dog clean being a basset hound and very low to the ground she seems to collect dirt and whatever else, so I was happy to have some good ways to help with that. This place really is as good as it gets! The hours make it very easy to come after work or a Saturday morning. Read Less
