We had a bizarre experience. The following is our true experience at Advanced Animal Clinic in Richmond, KY. It is owned by Jim and/or John Martin.
The people we encountered are: Bridgett Maynard, a vet technician; Dr. Cynthia Clark Boynton, the veterinarian who examined Lewis; Jamie House, the office manager; and Dr. Allison Conner, a veterinarian who consulted on the case.
We would NOT recommend Advanced Animal Care and this "family owned" business to anyone. Advanced Animal Care in Berea and Waco Animal Hospital are owned by the same people.
We took our cat, Lewis, in because he was sick. We told them about how we basically thought it might be one of three things:
Lyme disease because of the ticks. The most recent tick was hard to get out and Lewis still had a lump on his neck from it. It had been about two weeks since I had pulled it out and we were worried that the head of the tick may have remained and was starting all over in Lewis’s body. (Dr. Cynthia Clark didn't feel anything because Lewis was a "fluffy guy.")
The salamander. We have seen Lewis eat many gross things over the years, and he never had an upset stomach. We thought that maybe the fattiness of the salamander had not digested and perhaps was stuck in Lewis’s digestive tract. We wondered if the salamander had secretions that were toxic and had irritated Lewis. We just didn’t know. (Dr. Cynthia Clark noted that his abdomen was SOFT.)
We thought Lewis might have had an inner ear infection. We truly were always cleaning out his ears. Literally, his ears were “waxy” almost every day. (Dr. Cynthia Clark, in all of her professionalism and expertise - 700 dollars worth - didn’t even check Lewis's ears with an otoscope.)
They suggested expensive tests before the doctor ever examined him. The doctor, Dr. Cynthia Clark - she may go by Dr. Cynthia Clark Boynton, finally said that Lewis looked okay for his age, he was missing some back molars and a canine-that was normal for Lewis’s age and the fact that he did spend a lot of time outside hunting. She said, overall, she couldn’t find anything wrong with Lewis. I asked her if she felt the nodule on Lewis’s neck that the last tick bite had left. She said she didn’t feel it in her examination, but said “Lewis was a fluffy/furry guy.” ??? I asked if she thought Lewis could have an obstructed intestinal/gestational tract. She didn’t seem to think so. She noted that his abdomen was soft. I asked her how his ears were. She said they were fine. I asked if she saw a lot of wax deep within and she said, "I DIDN'T LOOK AT THEM WITH AN OTOSCOPE." On Monday, we took Lewis to Berea Animal Hospital where the doctor said Lewis's abdomen WASN'T soft, but he had a palpable mass - the doctor could feel it with his hands - the size of a key lime. Lewis had surgery the following day and we said goodbye to him because his mass was spread throughout his stomach area and we did not want him to suffer.
Advanced Animal Care initially charged us over $700 to say they couldn't find anything wrong with Lewis except his elevated white blood cell count. They did bloodwork, a SNAP test, and gave him an antibiotic shot. They said his abdomen WAS SOFT. Two days later when Dr. Long felt the mass with his hands, I called Advanced Animal Care to start a dispute on the charges. Dr. Allison Conner said this:
DR. LONG WAS ONLY ABLE TO FEEL THE MASS WITH THE HANDS (as opposed to Dr. Cynthia Clark Boynton) BECAUSE HE IS INSANELY TALENTED.
Advanced Animal Care did refund us $212, but I am disputing the remainder.
In the days that followed, I called all three clinics in an effort to speak with an owner. I left messages, but no response. A couple of days later, I received a letter from Advanced Animal Care stating that their decision was final and for me to NOT CALL THEIR CLINIC AGAIN. It was signed by Jamie House, the office manager of the Richmond location.
Do not trust your babies with these people. We never will again.

Today, as I was waiting in the lobby, I was able to observe Casey (I think that was her name, she had red hair). She was answering phones professionally and made sure that I had been helped before helping the next person. Very friendly and great customer service! I am one customer who always pays attention to that.

I'm really not sure how I can put in a few short words how impressed I was with this facility and its staff. I called Advanced Animal Care out of the blue after another clinic couldn't schedule me for an ultrasound for my Persian cat (who had lost 2 litters previously) until it may have been too late again. I was given an appointment for 2 days later.
The facility was immaculate in the waiting areas and throughout the back; witnessed while walking back to the ultrasound area.
Dr. Conner and her staff were friendly and informative. It was one of the best vet visits I ever experienced, and their prices were right in line with any other vet visit.

A stray that turned up at our house developed Parvo and was in Advanced Care the entire week. They understood things like this could be costly and worked with us as much as they could. I could tell the staff really developed a relationship with my dog and was rooting for her to beat Parvo. We ended up needing a blood transfusion and the staff was upfront with me about her chances of survival. White is back home and happy. She beat Parvo! It's never going to be cheap nor easy when it comes to pets health but Advanced Animal Care made us feel comfortable the entire time.

We lost our sweet Jackson this month, we took him here in hopes that he could be saved. The staff did everything that they could do and were so very sweet and kind. I will only be bringing our animals here for all of our pet need and they are a 45 minute drive from our house. Thank you to all the staff , especially Jamie, for being so kind and comforting during such a hard time in our lives. We miss our Jackson daily but we know everything possible was done to try and keep him with us. This is a wonderful place to bring your fur babies!

I cake Home with a lot of worry. I decided to take her here after seeing first hand how they take fantastic care of her cat. The vet look over and didn’t give me any hope. When the test results came, it was found that she had AIDS. They were honest either and were so sweet. They helped me when I turned into a sob ball. They have me time to be her and say goodbye. Thank you for the respect, kindness and life in person and on the phone. It meant the world to me. Bless you so much

I would give s 5, but no one is perfect, especially when your patient can’t talk & tell you where it hurts. Having said that: my experience is the vets, techs, & support staff try hard & care. Dr. Connor is our main vet, and she knows our dogs well, but others have cared for our furry friends also. I have read some negative comments about $$, but people need to realize that this is a 24/7 hospital, not only do the people who work here earn their salary, but the building ...needs maintained, the utilities need paid, & someone has to buy the supplies, including the toilet paper. This was our vet of choice since they opened, at one point, for a short while I went elsewhere to save a few dollars, but I went back and am glad we did. We recently had our beloved German Short Hair Pointer Grace pass due to a sudden internal bleeding from Cancer, she was so sweet & gentle we didn’t know she wasn’t feeling well until it was too late. Currently we are down to 2, and our sweet Eli has thyroidissues, diabetes, and is blind, and just dx with liver issues, which he now has medication for. In spite of this, he remains a happy camper. Bottom lline, I reccomend Advanced Animal Care for your pets health needs. See More

Four years ago I was in a panic. My little kitty of 9 pounds was acting very strange. At midnight I called this vets office because they were the only ones around that were open. They did what they could at the lowest price possible and saved his life that night. He has been in perfect health ever since.
For this reason I took my brand new puppy in yesterday, had his exam done and was a little worried. I was worried because certain vets offices won’t even see the breed of dog that he is. They were all amazing. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. They fell in love with him as quickly as I have. The appointment and exam took very little time, and we got everything done that needed to be accomplished. Four Year Strong and I will keep coming back with all of my babies.

Our little Yorkie had been sick for 4 days. We called the local vet we usually see and they told us it would be the next week. I called AAC and they got us in the next day. They were so nice. It was on a Saturday also. We could have brought him in when we called also. The vet and techs were great. Our dog is much better. The prices were very reasonable! We will be back and will recommend. They did not try to sell us unnecessary treatment or meds like the local place either.

At midnight the doctor calls me and says she found a string in her small intestine and she could remove it for $3,000 dollars or they can put her down. She said the had her under anesthesia from the surgery and I had 15 minutes to decide and call them back. So when I called back I told them I didn't want to loose... my dog over money and could I make payments. She said no but if I wanted someone in the office could pay if for me and keep my dog and I wouldn't own her anymore. This place only cares about money. If they did care about animals at all they could never offer to take my dog away from me. This is the worse place I've ever seen in my whole life!!!! Absolutely horrible!!!! See More

Then they said didn't think he had consumed any but would like to keep him overnight€ I said no .
They then insisted on giving him some fluids . I agreed then heard my 4 pnd Yorkie hollering twice they brought him back in looked awful.
Not satisfied at all with what they done then charged me 174.00 for that all they worried about is the money in my opinion very unsatisfied customer

What kind of place that says they care so much for animals can turn an animal away cuz there owner dont have all the money at once considering their prices are outrageous. I think im gonna just stick with the vet in ravenna they were actually friendly an the vet actually told the woman at the desk to make to make my visit cheaper since i was buying medicine an stuff for him, to make it easier on me is what she said, now that is the kind of place where they actually care about ur pet an understand everybody doesnt have the crazy amount of money for vets an stuff but still want to take care of their pets.

I have three dogs and have used AAC for the last 3 years, including boarding, health maintenance, emergency care and twice for parvo pups from the local shelter. We have received outstanding care and compassionate service in every case, and standard of care there is first rate in general. I would like this review to address the chief concern I've seen expressed by a few reviewers here: cost of care. My personal experience has been that they are quite flexible with financial arrangements. They provide services equivalent to a tertiary care center (i.e. a university hospital) for humans, and care that involves major surgery or the equivalent of an ICU stay is costly because of the resources required. Those resources must be covered to allow ANY medical facility to remain open and providing care to anyone at all. Feel free to PM me for specifics of my experiences, but there are options whether it is your own pet, a stray, foster, etc. Catastrophic coverage medical insurance is a good option to make sure your own pets are covered in case of a major problem. Again, in my own experience, if you are open and honest about your situation and goals of care for the animal they'll do their best to find a workable solution. It's worth it for top tier veterinary care.

Exceptional service all the way around. I live in St. Louis. However, Advanced Animal Care, Richmond, KY., is my primary Veternarian Clinic for all of my cat's major medical issues. Dr. Conner, Dr. Crane, and Dr. Tarter have all operated on my cat on three seperate occasions. In fact, my local vet in St Louis was so impressed with the dental work Dr. Conner performed on my cat, she thought she was a Dental Specialist. The vet techs, Allison Graves, Paige, Katelyn, and the many others go out of their way to makesure that my very fearful animal is taken care of. Words can not express how impressed I am with this clinic. If you want your pet(s) to get treated well by everyone ( not just by the veterinarians) than this is your clinic!!

Advanced Animal Care is the place where my love for veterinary medicine truly began. In undergrad, I decided to participate in an internship program to see if becoming a veterinarian was the path I should be on. The veterinarians and technicians here go above and beyond to teach their interns and prospective veterinary students as well as treat their patients with all the love and respect they deserve. Thanks to AAC and their amazing staff, I'm now a second year in veterinary school. Veterinary medicine is a difficult profession to be in. As professionals, we want to do everything we can to improve the quality of life of your pets and ease your worries. However, it's important to understand that nobody who has ever entered the field of veterinary medicine did so for the money. Veterinarians go to college for 8 years, the same amount of time as a human doctor, and they barely make about 1/3 to 1/2 what a human doctor makes. We join the career because we have a true passion for animal health and welfare and compassion for the amazing pet owners of the world. I know this is a long post but I'm truly thankful for AAC and their staff. If it wasn't for them my pit bull baby Eevee wouldn't be happy and heathy to this day. Without them I wouldn't have been able to go to Madagascar to help the stray and domestic dogs and cats on the other side of the world. Thank you for everything that you do AAC.

I took two puppies here to be treated for worms and tested for parvo. I live in Maryland and they were the only animal hospital open on Saturday that was close to where my family lives in London, KY. The office was very clean and looked very nice. The entire staff was super friendly and I couldn't of asked for a better experience. They took great care of my pups, I wish I could use them as my full time vet, if I wasn't so far. Not to mention, their prices were very affordable, unlike back home in Maryland where they won't see you unless you pay $150-$200 just to be seen.

The doctors I work with are some of the best I've ever encountered and with the number of farm animals and house animals I have I've encountered a few! I have taken several of my Cairn rescues to Advanced. They take excellent care of them. If you have an emergency, it is so nice to have a clinic I can depend on if I need them. Example, on Christmas Day 2015, I had to take two of my rescue pups finding out they had pneumonia. Because they were open, these two babies were saved. If I had waited the next day, they probably wouldn't be alive and adopted to families today.
I love the doctors and staff. I thank God that we have you all here in Richmond.

My husband and I are the owners of Advanced Animal Care, but we're also clients! These doctors and their teams have saved the lives of two of our own pets. A few years back, Dr. Martin was at a vet conference when our tiny chihuahua was attacked by two big dogs and badly injured. I rushed her into Advanced where emergency surgery saved her life. This summer one of our dachshunds was experiencing abdominal pain and had to be taken to Advanced Animal Care. After a week of tests, x-rays, fluids, hospitalization and surgery she is back home safe and healthy with us and her sister :) Though we are certainly proud to be a part of a hospital like Advanced, more than anything else we are thankful - especially when we hold two furry members of our family that wouldn't be here without them.

I cannot say enough good things about this animal care center. Everyone I encountered here was caring, professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. The wide range of services- from oxygen chamber, stem cell therapy, surgery, instant x-rays, micro-chipping, etc.- insure that your pet will have the equipment and knowledgeable staff to help with his/her needs.Their quick actions save my cat, whose gums and tongue has already turned blue due to a breathing problem. I cannot say enough about the manner in which this office is run and the services they offer. I was kept informed at all times, given a written estimate of possible care costs- after he was put into oxygen therapy- and told to call anytime I wanted. Someone is there 24/7 looking after the animals.I have my Tommy home now and he is in much better shape thanks to these wonderful people. Thank you to everyone there!

We had a bizarre experience. The following is our true experience at Advanced Animal Clinic in Richmond, KY. It is owned by Jim and/or John Martin.
The people we encountered are: Bridgett Maynard, a vet technician; Dr. Cynthia Clark Boynton, the veterinarian who examined Lewis; Jamie House, the office manager; and Dr. Allison Conner, a veterinarian who consulted on the case.
We would NOT recommend Advanced Animal Care and this "family owned" business to anyone. Advanced Animal Care in Berea and Waco Animal Hospital are owned by the same people.
We took our cat, Lewis, in because he was sick. We told them about how we basically thought it might be one of three things:
Lyme disease because of the ticks. The most recent tick was hard to get out and Lewis still had a lump on his neck from it. It had been about two weeks since I had pulled it out and we were worried that the head of the tick may have remained and was starting all over in Lewis’s body. (Dr. Cynthia Clark didn't feel anything because Lewis was a "fluffy guy.")
The salamander. We have seen Lewis eat many gross things over the years, and he never had an upset stomach. We thought that maybe the fattiness of the salamander had not digested and perhaps was stuck in Lewis’s digestive tract. We wondered if the salamander had secretions that were toxic and had irritated Lewis. We just didn’t know. (Dr. Cynthia Clark noted that his abdomen was SOFT.)
We thought Lewis might have had an inner ear infection. We truly were always cleaning out his ears. Literally, his ears were “waxy” almost every day. (Dr. Cynthia Clark, in all of her professionalism and expertise - 700 dollars worth - didn’t even check Lewis's ears with an otoscope.)
They suggested expensive tests before the doctor ever examined him. The doctor, Dr. Cynthia Clark - she may go by Dr. Cynthia Clark Boynton, finally said that Lewis looked okay for his age, he was missing some back molars and a canine-that was normal for Lewis’s age and the fact that he did spend a lot of time outside hunting. She said, overall, she couldn’t find anything wrong with Lewis. I asked her if she felt the nodule on Lewis’s neck that the last tick bite had left. She said she didn’t feel it in her examination, but said “Lewis was a fluffy/furry guy.” ??? I asked if she thought Lewis could have an obstructed intestinal/gestational tract. She didn’t seem to think so. She noted that his abdomen was soft. I asked her how his ears were. She said they were fine. I asked if she saw a lot of wax deep within and she said, "I DIDN'T LOOK AT THEM WITH AN OTOSCOPE." On Monday, we took Lewis to Berea Animal Hospital where the doctor said Lewis's abdomen WASN'T soft, but he had a palpable mass - the doctor could feel it with his hands - the size of a key lime. Lewis had surgery the following day and we said goodbye to him because his mass was spread throughout his stomach area and we did not want him to suffer.
Advanced Animal Care initially charged us over $700 to say they couldn't find anything wrong with Lewis except his elevated white blood cell count. They did bloodwork, a SNAP test, and gave him an antibiotic shot. They said his abdomen WAS SOFT. Two days later when Dr. Long felt the mass with his hands, I called Advanced Animal Care to start a dispute on the charges. Dr. Allison Conner said this:
DR. LONG WAS ONLY ABLE TO FEEL THE MASS WITH THE HANDS (as opposed to Dr. Cynthia Clark Boynton) BECAUSE HE IS INSANELY TALENTED.
Advanced Animal Care did refund us $212, but I am disputing the remainder.
In the days that followed, I called all three clinics in an effort to speak with an owner. I left messages, but no response. A couple of days later, I received a letter from Advanced Animal Care stating that their decision was final and for me to NOT CALL THEIR CLINIC AGAIN. It was signed by Jamie House, the office manager of the Richmond location.
Do not trust your babies with these people. We never will again.

I'm really not sure how I can put in a few short words how impressed I was with this facility and its staff. I called Advanced Animal Care out of the blue after another clinic couldn't schedule me for an ultrasound for my Persian cat (who had lost 2 litters previously) until it may have been too late again. I was given an appointment for 2 days later.
The facility was immaculate in the waiting areas and throughout the back; witnessed while walking back to the ultrasound area.
Dr. Conner and her staff were friendly and informative. It was one of the best vet visits I ever experienced, and their prices were right in line with any other vet visit.

A stray that turned up at our house developed Parvo and was in Advanced Care the entire week. They understood things like this could be costly and worked with us as much as they could. I could tell the staff really developed a relationship with my dog and was rooting for her to beat Parvo. We ended up needing a blood transfusion and the staff was upfront with me about her chances of survival. White is back home and happy. She beat Parvo! It's never going to be cheap nor easy when it comes to pets health but Advanced Animal Care made us feel comfortable the entire time.

We lost our sweet Jackson this month, we took him here in hopes that he could be saved. The staff did everything that they could do and were so very sweet and kind. I will only be bringing our animals here for all of our pet need and they are a 45 minute drive from our house. Thank you to all the staff , especially Jamie, for being so kind and comforting during such a hard time in our lives. I cake Home with a lot of worry. I decided to take her here after seeing first hand how they take fantastic care of her cat. The vet look over and didn’t give me any hope. When the test results came, it was found that she had AIDS. They were honest either and were so sweet. They helped me when I turned into a sob ball. They have me time to be her and say goodbye. I would give s 5, but no one is perfect, especially when your patient can’t talk & tell you where it hurts. Having said that: my experience is the vets, techs, & support staff try hard & care. Dr. Connor is our main vet, and she knows our dogs well, but others have cared for our furry friends also. I have read some negative comments about $$, but people need to realize that this is a 24/7 hospital, not only do the people who work here earn their salary, but the building ...needs maintained, the utilities need paid, & someone has to buy the supplies, including the toilet paper. This was our vet of choice since they opened, at one point, for a short while I went elsewhere to save a few dollars, but I went back and am glad we did. We recently had our beloved German Short Hair Pointer Grace pass due to a sudden internal bleeding from Cancer, she was so sweet & gentle we didn’t know she wasn’t feeling well until it was too late. Currently we are down to 2, and our sweet Eli has thyroidissues, diabetes, and is blind, and just dx with liver issues, which he now has medication for. In spite of this, he remains a happy camper. Bottom lline, I reccomend Advanced Animal Care for your pets health needs. See More

Four years ago I was in a panic. My little kitty of 9 pounds was acting very strange. At midnight I called this vets office because they were the only ones around that were open. They did what they could at the lowest price possible and saved his life that night. He has been in perfect health ever since.
For this reason I took my brand new puppy in yesterday, had his exam done and was a little worried. I was worried because certain vets offices won’t even see the breed of dog that he is. They were all amazing. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. They fell in love with him as quickly as I have. The appointment and exam took very little time, and we got everything done that needed to be accomplished. Four Year Strong and I will keep coming back with all of my babies.

Our little Yorkie had been sick for 4 days. We called the local vet we usually see and they told us it would be the next week. I called AAC and they got us in the next day. They were so nice. It was on a Saturday also. We could have brought him in when we called also. The vet and techs were great. Our dog is much better. The prices were very reasonable! We will be back and will recommend. They did not try to sell us unnecessary treatment or meds like the local place either.

Then they said didn't think he had consumed any but would like to keep him overnight€ I said no .
They then insisted on giving him some fluids . I agreed then heard my 4 pnd Yorkie hollering twice they brought him back in looked awful.
Not satisfied at all with what they done then charged me 174.00 for that all they worried about is the money in my opinion very unsatisfied customer

I have three dogs and have used AAC for the last 3 years, including boarding, health maintenance, emergency care and twice for parvo pups from the local shelter. We have received outstanding care and compassionate service in every case, and standard of care there is first rate in general. I would like this review to address the chief concern I've seen expressed by a few reviewers here: cost of care. My personal experience has been that they are quite flexible with financial arrangements. They provide services equivalent to a tertiary care center (i.e. a university hospital) for humans, and care that involves major surgery or the equivalent of an ICU stay is costly because of the resources required. Those resources must be covered to allow ANY medical facility to remain open and providing care to anyone at all. Feel free to PM me for specifics of my experiences, but there are options whether it is your own pet, a stray, foster, etc. Catastrophic coverage medical insurance is a good option to make sure your own pets are covered in case of a major problem. Again, in my own experience, if you are open and honest about your situation and goals of care for the animal they'll do their best to find a workable solution. It's worth it for top tier veterinary care.

Exceptional service all the way around. I live in St. Louis. However, Advanced Animal Care, Richmond, KY., is my primary Veternarian Clinic for all of my cat's major medical issues. Dr. Conner, Dr. Crane, and Dr. Tarter have all operated on my cat on three seperate occasions. In fact, my local vet in St Louis was so impressed with the dental work Dr. Conner performed on my cat, she thought she was a Dental Specialist. The vet techs, Allison Graves, Paige, Katelyn, and the many others go out of their way to makesure that my very fearful animal is taken care of. Words can not express how impressed I am with this clinic. If you want your pet(s) to get treated well by everyone ( not just by the veterinarians) than this is your clinic!!

Advanced Animal Care is the place where my love for veterinary medicine truly began. In undergrad, I decided to participate in an internship program to see if becoming a veterinarian was the path I should be on. The veterinarians and technicians here go above and beyond to teach their interns and prospective veterinary students as well as treat their patients with all the love and respect they deserve. Thanks to AAC and their amazing staff, I'm now a second year in veterinary school. Veterinary medicine is a difficult profession to be in. As professionals, we want to do everything we can to improve the quality of life of your pets and ease your worries. However, it's important to understand that nobody who has ever entered the field of veterinary medicine did so for the money. Veterinarians go to college for 8 years, the same amount of time as a human doctor, and they barely make about 1/3 to 1/2 what a human doctor makes. We join the career because we have a true passion for animal health and welfare and compassion for the amazing pet owners of the world. I know this is a long post but I'm truly thankful for AAC and their staff. If it wasn't for them my pit bull baby Eevee wouldn't be happy and heathy to this day. Without them I wouldn't have been able to go to Madagascar to help the stray and domestic dogs and cats on the other side of the world. Thank you for everything that you do AAC.

Overheard the vet who wouldn't even look at him unless I had $140 up front tell someone in the back that's what happens when you pick them up off the side of the road. They estimated it would be at least 900 after the initial exam. These people do NOT care about the animals. At all. Was even going to surrender the dog if that's what it took to make him better. Nope. What a joke of a vet. If you have this little passion for animals, why are you in this field anyways? Oh I know, because it keeps your wallet fat. I've read other reviews like mine that sound very similar to my experience with this place. Avoid going here at all cost! Also, they keep reading my facebook messages and not responding. i simply asked for information regarding their ethics and policies. they also have responded to positive reviews on their facebook but refuse to reply to negative ones. horrible!

I took two puppies here to be treated for worms and tested for parvo. I live in Maryland and they were the only animal hospital open on Saturday that was close to where my family lives in London, KY. The office was very clean and looked very nice. The entire staff was super friendly and I couldn't of asked for a better experience. They took great care of my pups, I wish I could use them as my full time vet, if I wasn't so far. Not to mention, their prices were very affordable, unlike back home in Maryland where they won't see you unless you pay $150-$200 just to be seen.

The doctors I work with are some of the best I've ever encountered and with the number of farm animals and house animals I have I've encountered a few! I have taken several of my Cairn rescues to Advanced. They take excellent care of them. If you have an emergency, it is so nice to have a clinic I can depend on if I need them. Example, on Christmas Day 2015, I had to take two of my rescue pups finding out they had pneumonia. Because they were open, these two babies were saved. If I had waited the next day, they probably wouldn't be alive and adopted to families today.
I love the doctors and staff. I thank God that we have you all here in Richmond.

My husband and I are the owners of Advanced Animal Care, but we're also clients! These doctors and their teams have saved the lives of two of our own pets. A few years back, Dr. Martin was at a vet conference when our tiny chihuahua was attacked by two big dogs and badly injured. I rushed her into Advanced where emergency surgery saved her life. This summer one of our dachshunds was experiencing abdominal pain and had to be taken to Advanced Animal Care. After a week of tests, x-rays, fluids, hospitalization and surgery she is back home safe and healthy with us and her sister :) Though we are certainly proud to be a part of a hospital like Advanced, more than anything else we are thankful - especially when we hold two furry members of our family that wouldn't be here without them.

I cannot say enough good things about this animal care center. Everyone I encountered here was caring, professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. The wide range of services- from oxygen chamber, stem cell therapy, surgery, instant x-rays, micro-chipping, etc.- insure that your pet will have the equipment and knowledgeable staff to help with his/her needs.Their quick actions save my cat, whose gums and tongue has already turned blue due to a breathing problem. I cannot say enough about the manner in which this office is run and the services they offer. I was kept informed at all times, given a written estimate of possible care costs- after he was put into oxygen therapy- and told to call anytime I wanted. Someone is there 24/7 looking after the animals.I have my Tommy home now and he is in much better shape thanks to these wonderful people. Thank you to everyone there!
