If you are looking for a top notch team to care for your pet, look no further! I was a nervous wreck to have our boy (Goose) neutered. Given my poor experience with a vet growing up, I was hesitant to have it done. However, as soon as we brought our little guy in for his appointment my fears were eased. Maureen greeted us with a smiling face, warm tone, and friendly conversation not just with us but with Goose too! Rachel took us back, explained everything in detail and treated Goose like one of her own the whole time. Then, Dr. DeWees called me (because sweet Rachel knew how scared I was) before anything happen surgically to walk me step by step in what would be happening to our guy. Our first visit was a joy. They worked us right in with no worries and I even forgot my paper work and they where so understanding and told me I could bring them later and called Pet Land to get the vaccines list which was so very helpful. From the first contact with UPH to days after our visit, I have been so impressed. The receptionist was so sweet, even though I called right before they closed. When I entered, I didn't even have to tell them who I was, they asked "Is this Diesel?!" There was hardly any waiting time, which was the main reason I tried a new vet - the other 2 I had tried had extremely long wait times. When we went into the room, my dog, for the first time ever, was not afraid of being there. The assistant gave him many treats and he had no fear, unlike every other experience at vets. I was not rushed out - they took the time to get to know my dog and myself. I've received a phone call to follow up on how the medicine is working and also a card in the mail. What?! Who has that kind of customer service anymore? Everyone in that office really seems to care about pets and their owners and the only thing I'm disappointed about is that I haven't been taking him there since he was a puppy. All the staff at Union Pet Hospital takes very good care of our pets, and we really trust them. It's obvious they have a genuine caring for animals. We have always had a positive experience with every vet visit, whether it's routine vaccinations or wellness checks, or whether we have a pet with an illness. In that case, I've been impressed at the doctors' thorough yet quick diagnosis of two separate illnesses one of our cats had. The doctors' knowledge and skill got our 16 year old cat on a quick road to recovery and acting like a kid again! We're blessed to keep him around for a while, thanks to the good care and treatment plan the doctors have him on. He went from a pretty sick boy to putting weight back on, and being energetic and glowing. UPH are excellent on follow-through as well, and always call in a couple days to ask how our pet is doing. The entire staff is friendly and personable from all the doctors to the techs and groomers to the front desk staff. UPH has a beautiful, clean facility which is dog AND cat friendly. Dr. Crowder and Holly are the dream team. I could not be more impressed with them. The prices at Union Pet Hospital are a bit higher than other offices in the area but I think they're worth it. The doctors here truly care about your pets and go above and beyond to make sure your animals are healthy and happy. I will never take my pet to any clinic other than Union Pet Hospital again. I called Union Pet Hospital this morning to see if they could see my kitty, Paul who has been sneezing and coughing for a couple of days. They got us in that same afternoon. Nearly 15 years ago, we started to see Dr. Hastings (in Erlanger) and now in (Union) we are pet owners right now of 3 dogs, six cats, a turtle and a fish. Without going through a long spill, to sum it up there has been many surgeries and illness that was life changing.There has never been a question asked that could not be answered. Dr. Hastins and his staff has a passion for their clients and their owners. I have been called, emailed and cards sent. No matter who I talk to they know who I am and who I called about. All the Vets there and staff is just wonderful. I know I send as many people as I can to them, because there is no reason to short change your fur baby of a GREAT, KIND, LOVING and CARING place to receive their health care needs. I have taken my dogs to Union Pet Clinic for nearly 13 years. The staff could not be more loving or caring for my girls. After having to put Sparky to sleep last January, I received a sympathy card signed by all staff. That was very comforting to me.
