We were greeted as we came :} and take right to an exam room. The Tech was very prompt in getting to the room to get Zippy and Zoey. She got their nails clipped quickly and they looked really great! Everyone at Kleinpeter Vet. Hospital is so nice and professional. They all go out of their way to make sure your pets are taken care of. I was referred to Kleinpeter by several pet-owner friends of mine who's opinions I highly value when it comes to the health of animals. First off, the staff was very prompt and caring, both in person and on the phone. I was immediately put into a room upon arrival, so my cat could be let out his carrier and be a little more at ease. Once Dr. Donna Kleinpeter came in, we talked about his symptoms and had a few tests run, and he's was put on some medicine. She told me everything about what was happening, how to correct it, and some preventative measures to take to greatly reduce the risk of the infection coming back. She was great and incredibly informative. They also have an app called PetPartner where you make a profile for your pet, or pets, and it keeps logs of their visits, including medicines and appointments with reminders. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Really put me at ease over the concerns I've had having recently adopted a dog with separation anxiety. They were able to accommodate a last minute appointment to take care of a paw issue and the service was so good that my dog who is afraid of everyone literally didn't want to leave. I have been to MANY vets looking for the right care for my epileptic dog. I had received instruction that varied from "put her down" to "allow her to be studied". But when I took Tink to Dr. Kleinpeter, she treated my dog like a family member. She is the perfect combination of pro active and compassionate. I will always trust her with my animals. This was a very hard visit, but the staff and Dr. made my family and me feel comfortable. I felt like they cared for my girl even though they had never met her before. I was not rushed in any way or treated as any less than a good friend. The price was a great value and I feel that the customer service was top notch. I received a paw print for each of my 4 boys with out an extra charge and Pep came back to us in a beautiful box that was very fitting of my sweet girl.Read Less

Harley, who was already a KVH patient, was bitten by an alligator and had to have emergency surgery at another vet two hours away. His stitches broke the next day, and one of the vets at KVH had me email her photos of his wound and consulted with me about how to pack his wound overnight over the phone at closing time so I wouldn't have to bring him to a super expensive emergency overnight place. The next day I brought him to KVH where they reinforced his stitches and took excellent care of him, and he made a full recovery. I have used various vets at KVH as well at the day and overnight boarding and bathing and they have consistently been excellent and the staff has been friendly and accommodating. My ONE complaint is I wish the day boarding stayed open until 6 and (less urgently, opened at 7am) on weekdays like some places do. It's impossible to get from downtown BR to KVH by 530 when you get off at 5. Otherwise, wonderful wonderful wonderful!Read Less

We've been going to Kleinpeter for at least 15 years. They started in one small building and are now overflowing out of two. I've never had a problem getting an appointment the day I call, but they are getting busier all the time. It's obvious that they care for their patients' well being, and we've seen that from all of the doctors. Over the years, we've had three pets that went through expensive complications (one with cancer) and surgeries before inevitably needing to be put down. All three times, they didn't charge us a cent for that final visit. They deserve nothing but 5 stars, every day of the year. Read Less

I have been taking my dogs to Kleinpeter for over 4 years. They are nice, professional, and good. The only problem that I ever had with them was not getting my rabies tags and when I went back to pick them up they wanted to charge me another $15. Kleinpeter is very clean and the staff are nice, friendly and helpful. Their Daycare service is cheap and your animal will have fun. I boarded my dog in their brand new kennel and was very impressed at the level of care and attention he received. The staff there is so nice and the new building is large and clean. Highly recommend.
