The vet has been super caring for our dog and cat. We've boarded our dog there on two longer trips, although I'm not sure if the boarding environment is right for our timid/anxious doggy. They take good care of him, though. Read Less

One year ago today, Dr. Mike and myself experienced something I will remember for the rest of my life. It was meaningful and made a difference in the lives of many. There were 60+ animals boarding at O'Neal Lane Pet Hospital when the water started to rise. I had a latter ready and up to the roof with every carrier we had available on standby next to ropes and chains incase the animals had to get to higher ground. Dr. Mike and I stayed in the clinic for 3 days to care for all ...of the animals who's family members entrusted us with their well-being. We ate lunches left by staff and whatever else we could find (Dr. Mike's famous chicken crapatorie). I witnessed a level of dedication that gave me hope for humanity, and I'm thankful to have been a part of it. Hungry and exhausted, we cared for those animals while being trapped inside until the water went down. We slept on wooden benches and the cold floor of exam rooms. We walked dogs in the flower bed out front, because it was the only land visible. Although we were lucky enough to stay dry inside the building, we worked out butts off to keep every animal inside safe, clean, and healthy. I will remember that experience forever. I will remember that dedication forever. I will miss that place I called home forever. If there's ever any doubt that your pets will be cared for at O'Neal Lane Pet Hospital, let this story cure you of your fears. I feel in love with this place! They turned one of the worst days of my life into an experience I'll never forget. Last month I found out that I had to put my pitbull to sleep and I couldn't believe it. They made me feel as if I was with family and Dr. Mike went above and beyond to make sure we were ok. The staff is the best!! They helped my daughter and I get through this really bad time. I've never experienced an animal hospital with such friendly people that turned this bad day into one of my best. Iam now bringing my other dog here and this will be my permanent pet hospital. As a first time pet owner, I was worried about being overcharged (I hear that happens a lot) and having all kinds of anxiety about my Boxer puppy's first vet visit. After asking around, my friend recommended this place and said they were friendly and affordable, so I gave it a try. The staff at O'Neal were SO kind and helpful over the phone and then going in for the appointment I was greeted with a smile and my pup with treats and lots of love. The assistants were so great and full of personality and fun. You can tell they truly love the animals. Dr. Wendy was phenomenal and thorough with her check-up and recommendations. It put my mind at ease to have such a professional and fun staff who seem to truly love their jobs taking care of my boy. It was very clean and so incredibly affordable. WORSE VET EVER. I have taken my dogs here for about two years, and I will no longer go back based on their total inability to help my dog, who has a condition that has grown worse thanks to their poor care. After taking him to another vet, who determined in ONE visit that the dog actually was suffering from another more serious condition that O'Neal Lane Pet Hospital overlooked. Also the office managers and assistants are quick, rude and pretty much nasty to deal with. In this business, the customer is never right and is rarely treated well. THIS WOULD BE THE LAST PLACE ON EARTH I WOULD TAKE A PET I CARED ABOUT. Read Less
